Accommodation and location was perfect, 2 minutes walk from Saint Peter Basilica. Cynthia and her husband are a lovely couple. We had a flight from the UK to Rome in the morning so we arrived at their Guest House around 12:00, we left our luggage before check in time. The room was always clean. Everyday in the morning was delicious and fresh breakfast. On our last day they allowed us to leave our luggage after check out time so we didn't need to walk across Rome with our stuff. We definitely recommend it! We will choose this accommodation in our future trip to Rome. ! - Daria, Lukasz and Sebastian ( Spiderman)

The host was very helpful, they always respond to you , no matter time, am so appreciate the help , the guidance, this property is very strategic location, everything is nearby, easy excess . What I most like is I can be able to cook my favourite dish, it's just like a home for me. Television channel sellection was good, they provide netflix, a bonus for us that don't understand Italian. House was very spacious.everythings is fine with me and if I come back to Florence this property will be my first choice.

Staircase.....how I wish this property have lift, cos our luggage is very huge and heavy, carrying those bag to 2nd floor , I think I need Goliath to carry it, but at last the spirit of Goliath came to us and we made it up and down safely........

Cynthia was excellent host, getting in contact with me to arrange the check in. I messed up my time of arrival and she contacted me to make sure everything was OK. The location of the room was literally looking the walls of the Vatican city. The Ottaviano Metro Stop and the Piazza Risorgimento for getting buses around the city are a short walk away. The room was lovely and plenty of room for a family of four for three nights. There are beautiful high ceilings and big windows with views of the dome of St Peter's. There was a nice breakfast each morning and we were able to pop out at 07:00 am to be there for the basilica opening, beat the crowds, get a look around, visit the Dome and still be back in time for breakfast!

Everything about this place was really great - clean and comfortable. The area was fab, convenient transport links, metro 5 mins away, and we caught the number 81 bus to the colosseum, very easily. It's also not far to walk to the Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Castel S'ant Angelo etc. Lots of lovely places to eat, drink, snack etc. We had an early morning tour at the Vatican and it was perfect to roll out of bed and down the street to meet the tour guide. Cinzia, the owner, was very friendly and helpful, providing us with recommendations for a couple of restaurants - we went to one and it was lovely. The beds were super comfortable and the building is very charming. The view - well, pretty special!

The guesthouse is brilliantly located, just outside the Vatican and a 5 min walk from the ottaviano metro station which can get you to the coliseum in 20 mins. It’s a bit quieter than other tourist locations in the centre. The guesthouse was excellent, clean and tidy with Cynthia being really helpful. More of an authentic Italian feel to it as you walk through the courtyard from the street. Lovely restaurants nearby (Amalfi had great pizza) and a gelatoria right by the door. Breakfast was good. Cynthia booked our taxi to/from the airport without any problems. We managed to see all the major sites of Rome over the weekend. Would definitely stay again.

Some road noise and Italians love their emergency sirens! Understandable as in the centre of the city. Despite this we still slept well

Love the location, very close to VaticanCity. our room was spacious. this is the perfect room for a family. very clean. owners, kind and caring. Beautiful artwork in main area. I loved that I w could literally take 2 steps out of my room and have breakfast.

it wasn’t that I didn’t like- it was a bit confusing when we arrived. we may have gotten arrival instructions but I missed them. you enter from a busy street- there are multiple properties inside. Be patient, the beautiful owner will meet you in courtyard and take you up to your room.

Ideally situated for The Vatican City, we had a lovely close view of St Peters Basilica from our window. Local buses stop right next to the hotel, plenty of restaurants and fast food outlets right next door. The guest house was located on the 3rd floor of a large apartment building of the local style seen everywhere in Rome. A nice quaint metal and wooden lift/elevator gets you there in quick time. Lovely host was there to greet us and take us to our room, giving us helpful information about the room, the guest house and local area. Lovely big comfy bed, wide tall window that you can open wide to appreciate the view. Nice shower and sink in the bathroom & a little basket with shampoo and soap and toothbrushes. Room was spotlessly clean and on return at the end of each day the room was again spotlessly clean. Left in peace after that to come and go as you please yet there with a nice friendly quick chat whenever you meet. Perfect hosts !

We couldn't possibly tell you that there was anything to dislike, the hosts and the guest house they provide are faultless. Ideally situated for The Vatican City but not close enough to regularly walk to the other touristy sites. Though easy to get around with easy to use local buses, taxis and touristy hop on hop off buses.

We had a very friendly welcome. The room, a double bed and two single, was spacious and very clean. Next to Vatican City. Centroid Storico is a pleasant 30 min walk away and there is Metro station nearby, NB: taxi rates from Ciamiano airport are presently fixed at 31 Euro.

Cost of accommodation in Rome is generally eye-wateringly high, and this is no exception, considering it was a large room with private bathroom. We paid a third for a similar one in Pompeii.

Great breakfast: lots of choices and they even had fruit!! Plus the most amazing coffee machine. It was gigantic and offered many choices in coffee and hot chocolate. Room was large and perfect for 4 people. Location was perfect (across from Vatican city) and there was a gelateria (which my kids loved!) literally next door. Owners were very nice!

Be prepared for the electric water system. Every time you flush, a fog horn sound goes off. And, every 15 seconds in the shower, the same noise occurs. I guess this encourages you to take a quick shower since the sound is a little annoying. And, there were 4 of us. Hopefully the guests down the hall couldn't hear it. Also, typical to European showers, there wasn't a door. Yikes! So, the floor got soaking wet as usual. There was some confusion on what floor they were on when we checked in. Maybe add a little sign for travelers in the 'lobby' area if the building will allow it? Be prepared for SUPER tiny elevators, or you can walk up. lol!

The location was perfect, close to metro line bus stops and central location for tourism. The guest house itself is stunningly beautiful, exceptionally clean, spacious, wonderful breakfasts, we cannot fault the guest house at all. We stayed as a family with our 11 and 7 year old sons who both had full size beds (not sofabeds) which meant that they were both comfortable and slept well for the long days ahead. Cynthia is the perfect hostess, ensuring we had everything for our stay. If we were to return to Rome we would not hesitate to return to AD2015 Guest House.
