decent guest house. good free light breakfast. the a/c unit in the room also gives heat

it's REALLY far from the center of rome (10 min walk to the subway and then 10 min subway ride, or 40-50 minute walk). poor sound insulation in room. Tourist tax must be paid in cash on arrival (small sum, but it's annoying)

The location was great as it was so close to the Vatican. My room was very comfortable and clean. The toiletries provided were luxurious. The receptionist was extremely helpful and welcoming.

There was quite a bit of noise at night, either from other guests or staff, I could be sure who. There were doors banging, loud conversations and music or television sounds. It didn't ruin my stay but it did disturb my sleep for about three hours from around 2:00 a.m. until about 5:00 a.m. There might be some measures you could take to try to ensure the hotel is quieter at this time of night.

Breakfast was not the best I've had, but it was substantial, with hot drinks being prepared by the hotel staff. The bedroom I was allocated overlooked the back of the Vatican on Viale Vaticano. If you decide to do a Vatican tour, the tours start approx 400 metres from the hotel (out and left from the hotel) at the Vatican Musee entrance on this same street. There is a Metro station "Cipro" close to the hotel which is on the A line that goes through and beyond Roma Termini - the main railway station. The "Piazza del Risorgmento" (follow Vatican walls down to the left) is good for bars and restaurants. If you plan to arrive at the hotel after 2200, you will be given explicit instructions (via Whatsapp) including photographs for a code to the main gate and once in the grounds, a code to access reception (entry, down the steps) and then the location of your room key, within the reception area. Nothing difficult regarding this procedure.

Maybe the breakfast wasn't up to scratch, but it certainly wasn't the worst I've encountered on my travels over the years.

Although this a very simple 80s style motel-like room, I had a fantastic sleep. I liked the view of the valley, from my window and the proximity to Cipro subway. The place has a good energy..

Rather nosy, I could hear the tv next door and people stomping on the stairs in the morning. The shower is in the room. It reminded me of my trips as a student. The rooms facing the street might get traffic noise, I had a garden view. Iit is located right by walls of the Vatican, but at the other side of the entrance, so you would have to take a bus. Breakfast is just a pile of supermarket sweet pastries.

It's near the vatican entrance and metro station. The staffs are nice. The vendo machine is a plus.

Room was very nice with a nice view of the wall around the Vatican. There were vending machines downstairs and breakfast was continental. There was a small balcony so you could stand out and watch the world go by. Secure parking available on site, but it's a bit tight so be prepared. Location is ideal for Vatican and Castillo St Angelo, buses are available readily for getting around other parts of Roma.

Plug sockets were limited for euro travel adaptors, should have got Italian specific ones so our fault more than the hosts issue

Domus Getsemani is great quarters by the Vatican Muzeums and close to St. Peter's Basilica; also close to Rome. Nice people, who rent accomodation.:) I got a help in communicating in my poor English. Delicious Italian breakfasts with drinks, especially delicious coffee! I felt very good there.:) It's friendly place.:) The room was well equipped with air conditioning, tv and a beautiful view on the basilica and cross to pray.

Very clean, lovely helpful and attentive staff. Clear instructions for keys, wifi, etc despite my language barrier. Definitely great value for money. I liked that it was out of the centre, but within walking distance to great places to eat. I'd return. Comfortable bed, though small single size so tall people might need to take this into consideration. I'm 1.72m and had to sleep with my legs sticking over the side... But I still slept well.

The shower was tiny (the small size that doesn't allow you to bend down), but ok for me. The street noise is very audible from the room, as is the room next door - unfortunately I had neighbours who spoke and laughed until late each night. I usually sleep with ear plugs so this helped.

Very well situated, the Vatican museum is literally right across the road. The staff was cool, they allowed me to stash my luggage for the day after checking out, until my late-night train departure. The breakfast is also really nice, good expresso, several juices and nice croissants. This place has a good price for Rome and the included breakfast makes it really worth it, tbh.

I'm a sound sleeper, so this wasn't a problem for me, but light sleepers will undoubtedly have a hard time - it is quite noisy 24/7. The street next to this place is a busy one and you can hear all the automobiles going through. This place doesn't really promote socializing with others staying there, which is something I enjoy, but I wouldn't consider this a problem either.

The owner was super helpful and friendly, the room was clean, the shower was decent, the WiFi was very good, there was air conditioning and there was a hairdryer (though I didn’t use it as only stayed 16 hours but I am happy when there is a hairdryer in hotel rooms) There’s also a TV but I didn’t use that either. There was also a bidet. The bed was quite small but I’m only 164 cm and 43 kg so it was fine for me; it was comfortable I got a good night’s sleep. The location was brilliant; right opposite the Vatican walls, beautiful view from my window and just a few minutes walk to the Sistine chapel entry and to the metro station which was less than 10 minutes from Termini and less than 15 minutes to the Colosseum. (less than an hour to Fiumicino airport by metro and train also) It was also only 10-15 minutes walk to Eroi where there were plenty restaurants and shops.

The keychain was very heavy and chunky, I had to take it off when I went out! Also for a bit of constructive criticism the toilet seat had a small crack in it.
