Hotel Vespasiano

Staff are amazing, the breakfast room is small but the two staff are very friendly to prepare the breakfast. Location is amazing, as all activity isost to enjoy in Vatican and easy to go anywhere in Rome by Metro or train.

We are all satisfied

We arrived shortly after departing from our cruise ship. We were very fortunate that our rooms were clean and ready for all 5 couples. We were exhausted from the cruise so to get a bite to eat and to come back to take a quick nap was exactly what we needed. Rooms were great, staff was incredibly helpful and a great 5 star hotel. It was immaculant in every way. We will definitely stay there again in we get an opportunity to come back. AND 5 star breakfast was fantastic! We Loved Hotel Vespasiano!! High class hotel!

Everything was perfect!

Lovely, modern and stylishly redone as a boutique hotel. Super friendly desk staff, clean comfortable beds, and great air conditioning and WiFi. Location was perfect for us, central, in the midst of shopping and eateries of all kinds (and two blocks to the Vatican if that matters to you).

No elevator. Normally this would not be an issue, but on this trip we had four heavy suitcases and the stairs twist and turn. (Just something to be aware of — just ask for a ground floor room if you'll need one.)

air conditioning, big bed and nice bathroom. I also liked the breakfast which had a lot of choice and was always too much.

no public area to meet people or hang out and relax outside the room

The persons at the front desk were really good. You don't find such lovely people nowadays. The checkin time for the hotel is 15:00 but on the day of my checkin at 12:00 the lady at the reception arranged a room for me by 12:20! I didn't event request for the room. On the night before my checkout, the gentleman at the reception asked me when I would like to have breakfast next day, when I said I won't be there during breakfast since I am checking out early. After hearing this he arranged 2 bags of food items for us. I didn't even ask or expect! Every single person working at this hotel was so good! The hotel room was spacious, the bed was comfortable. To top it off was the location...very close to Vatican museums and Ottaviano Metro station. I will come to this hotel again and again!

I wish the breakfast area was a bit bigger. Nothing apart from this.

The front desk staff was exceptional helpful with an early check in and with two dinner suggestions.

The bathroom had a strange configuration. For example, the tub had a shower head on a hose. But there was no shower curtain or enclosure so it was impossible to keep the floor dry when showering. Also, the A/C would automatically reset to 25 C after running for only a short period of time.

the property is only a 5 minute walk to Vatican City and there’s lots of restaurants and shopping to do around. Faviola was always so nice and helped us navigate the city plus gave us great tips on how to protect our belongings from pickpockets.

We didn’t like that our key card wasn’t working so we were handed a regular metal key(master key), but every time we left the room we had to turn in to the front desk and pick up from the front desk when we got back to our room.

Staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating. Room was large, bathtub and lighting were great, ac icy cold, good mattress and pillows, free slippers. The breakfast was very nice, many options and not buffet style, felt more like a restaurant. Excellent location to the metro.

The key holder for the ac would flash bright colors throughout the night when trying to fall asleep, not sure why, but it was disruptive. The large bed was two beds pushed together and we found that the beds would separate a bit, leaving a gap. The towel warmer didn't work in our room, but I didn't complain. Also, a minor thing but some of the throw pillows were a bit stained and not up to the standard of the rest of the room.

The staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Myself and my mother were upgraded to a junior suite much to our surprise. The other two in our party had a standard courtyard room which was great. Rome was very hot but the aircon in our room was wonderful. The rooms were very clean.

We would have liked to use the spa. Unfortunately, it was not open during our stay.

Hotel was central ,clean ,modern,in particular I would like to mention eduardo and Victoria they checked us in ,friendly, kind informative just what you need when it's your first time there,fulvia was also lovely,very helpful and breakfast staff too .Lovely breakfast plenty of choice ,would come back definitely

It's not something I didn't really like just a personal preference ,would be nice to have a bar to maybe have a night cap
