Salotto Monti

The perfect location, walking distance to all the main sites. Lots of restaurants around also! The rooms were spacious and beds comfy!

The breakfast was ok, the dining space was very cramped. There was an outside terrace but everyday all the furniture was wet so couldn’t sit out there. I appreciate we could of spoken to someone about this but there was only person on breakfast service. Also our city tax was double what was quoted on booking.com due to a change on the 1st October. We would have appreciated being told this in advance, it went from €45 to €90 which is a massive difference to be told at the end of our stay.

Rosa and Federica and all of the staff at salutto Monti were charming, warm, helpful and informative. Before our arrival, they helped organiser a special surprise for my girlfriend - it was so easy from start to finish and their special touches made for a very special experience! We loved the room, the location and the lift! Rosa and Federica were quick to suggest restaurants and sights, and we're friendly faces to come 'home' to. The location was the perfect base for visiting the sights of Rome. We would love to come back again!

Central location. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Pretty terrace for breakfast and drinks. I stayed in the triple room which was light, spacious with a nice shower and good quiet air con.

Quite hard to find as signage outside not obviously a hotel. Building work going on on first floor meant my friend staying in the 2 bed apartment was woken up at 8am. The sofa bed in the apartment was also broken which meant that anyone bigger than 4ft 6 couldn’t sleep on it! Finally we were not a fan of the hotel recommended MP Tours - please organize your own and read reviews.

The staff was exceptional (Nadia, Georgia, Valentina, Federica (both) and Mohamed). They helped us arrange transportation when needed and always so friendly in providing guidance on places to go and must see sites. The 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious and clean. Anything we needed whether it be towels or toilet paper were received immediately. The breakfast had an extensive variety of options and the terrace was charming. Another great feature is the building has 2 elevators therefore, no walking up steps with luggage. The building is centrally located near restaurants and bars (3 min walk) and less than 15 minutes walk to the Colosseum. I highly recommend this hotel.

Most of all is the atmosphere and breakfast on the terrace 😇🌤 we were looking for a hotel with a terrace and nice staff in .arch 2024. Such smiling, helpful, and friendly people are really rare to meet. Special thanks to Rosa, Elisa and Giorgia for our pleasant stay in th hotel😍and also thanks for a grande Coffee in the morning 🥰☕️ and bottle of Prosecco as a compliment from hotel to compensate some our misunderstanding with booking and flight. We were totally impressed🙃 You can see that the hotel cares about its guests! I will come here again!! Oh, we also got a cup and a bag as a memorable gift about Rome🙈 the hotel and service there totally met my expectations!

All was good, we really didn't find any points to make better. The hotel has an excellent location on the 3rd floor

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They fulfilled all of our wishes very well. The location is great, you can walk to all major sights in Rome.

The street is busy and it's a bit noisy in the room, but if you close the windows it's ok

The location of the hotel is ideal as it's in walking distance from the train station and the main sights in Rome. All of the staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful, and the communication was brilliant. Any questions raised before our stay were responded to very quickly. They provided lots of helpful information and we had no problem finding the hotel with their detailed instructions. Our welcome for our romantic get away was a beautiful surprise and very much appreciated. We wouldn't hesitate returning to Salotto Monti and would highly recommend the hotel. Thank you for making our trip so special.

We had one minor maintenance issue with the bathroom during our stay, however, this was dealt with very efficiently and with the hotel's sincere apologies

Amazing guest house. Highly recommend it. The service is impeccable. Frederick, Jessica and Enzo went above and beyond. They were available by phone to assist us when needed. They gave us recommendations, and took care of us. They were super helpful!

The roof terrace is fabulous. Breakfast can be taken on the terrace and we would take wine and food up there in the evening. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel also offers free local tours, which were so good. Virgilo, the tour guide was AMAZING, so knowledgeable and took you to places you would definitely have missed. Excellent location, everywhere was within walking distance. The area around the hotel, Monti, is wonderful. Shops, restaurants, bars and sights, all on your doorstep.

We rented 3 apartments. 2 of the apartments were fantastic. 1 of the apartments was rather small and the beds for guests 3 and 4 were in the kitchen area.

The staff was amazing, helpful and friendly, especially Georgia, who was responsible for the breakfast buffet. The possibility to take the delicious breakfast on the terrasse with view to the National Bank was great. We enjoyed it very much. It‘s perfect for a short city trip. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, traumhafter Blick von der Terrasse. Super Lage.

Our "superior apartment" was on the 1st floor - would rather call it "basic" than "superior". The view was into the inner courtyard, where there is an interesting factory-like facility. Keep windows and curtains closed at all times.
