I loved staying in this B&B! The room, the breakfast, and the service all exceeded my expectations. The room was tastefully decorated with antiques and very well equipped. It seemed much more spacious than had appeared in photos on booking.com, and had shuttered windows looking out over the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The location is very central, just a short walk from the always-amazing Piazza Grande. Via Pantaneto is relatively quiet during the days, but comes to life at night due to the proximity to the university. The room itself was very quiet. Cinzia and Duccio were the perfect hosts, and Cinzia's breakfasts were superb. I had to call them late one night as I had an urgent situation in the room. Cinzia came to my assistance very promptly, and appeared not to be at all put out by my late call for assistance.

The location was fabulous! The apartment, the views and the common areas were amazing. The breakfast was exceptional. The best thing about it though, we’re the hosts. Cinzia and Duccio were so kind and hospitable, and incredibly helpful. My husband, unfortunately, needed medical assistance during our stay, and Duccio was just so helpful and organised (and took us to) a doctor nearby and stayed with us until after my husband was seen, just in case further attention was needed. I cannot fault this apartment, or praise the wonderful hosts more highly. I will definitely stay here again if I visit this beautiful city again.

The guesthouse is delightful. It is like staying in an upmarket, well-loved family home -full of art and ornaments and beautiful furniture, and the whole place smells divine. Everyone working there was great.The owner provided maps and guides to the area and left his number for us to call if we needed anything, the gentleman who cooked our breakfast (eggs, cereal, yogurt, fruit salad, croissant and cake) called a taxi for our departure, and the cleaning lady was really sweet. The location is amazing, a couple of minutes too the Campo, and surrounded by bars and restaurants. Definitely worth a visit, we would have stayed longer if we could

Just a teeny suggestion- coffee-making facilities in the room would have been nice

absolutely wonderful! great location, right in the town centre, yet super quiet and serene. I am a super light sleeper and I found absolutely nothing to complain. the apartment is decorated in classic Tuscan style, with a genuine historical atmosphere. Duccio is a great host, very patient and attentive, always quick to respond and extremely helpful. he helped me sort out the bus time schedule for San Gimignano, printed out everything in detail. I can easily see they put a lot of efforts into this place, and everything is in order. last but not least, the breakfast was very rich and you can choose what you wanna have. For me who like a big breakfast and small dinner, this saves me a lot of time going out looking for food early in the morning, as Italians are not so big on breakfast. all in all, I would recommend Duccio’s mansion with utmost sincerity.

We loved everything about this property: excellent location, spacious accommodation, a lovely dining/living area customers can make use of, very quiet, decor is full of character and charm. Breakfast was fantastic (well beyond a pastry and coffee - included fruit, eggs, yogurt, juice, etc), and lovingly prepared in a beautiful space. This B&B was unusual in that we actually met the proprietor at both check-in and check-out as well as at breakfast time. We felt looked after - unlike the usual "you're on your own" experience at most other B&Bs we stayed at in Italy.

The apartment was traditional and beautiful, and we felt like we were staying in somebody’s very lovely and well preserved home. Although it was older the bathroom with modern and very comfortable. our hosts were more than helpful, making arrangements for us for transportation and allowing us to leave our luggage there after we checked out. they also provided a lovely breakfast in the beautiful setting. we really felt that it gave us a taste of good living in Siena over the years.

We found this B&B by chance and it turned out to be a fairy tale stay :-) This is another level of B&B. We treasured every moment spent in this most elegant B&B. We felt very welcomed by Cinzia & Duccio the moment we walked through the door, as if we were meeting our family :-)  Wow, just wow, the salon was tastefully decorated with antics, especially the ceiling, have not seen a ceiling like this one...we could just admire the elegant ceiling & the antics on display all day. One has to see it !  Our tastefully decorated room was top quality - clean, quiet & love the old style elegant beddings. Gentleman Duccio took super care of us at breakfast beyond expectations. The whole breakfast set up was fairy tale ! We were very spoiled :-)  Thanks Duccio & Cinzia for the precious time in your elegant B&B. We sure would be back to be spoiled again !

Not this trip...so we need to come back to find out if there are any negative things to say ? haha

beautiful apartment with high ceilings and big windows in a 4 story , classic building . the apartment is one of 3 with a common lounge and breakfast area which was beautifully furnished. Lovely views over the outside gardens and Sienna wall. the hosts , Duccio and his wife were super helpful and friendly. make sure you tell them what time you will be arriving as you can only access the big door from the street with a key , so they have to let you in , , Breakfast is exceptional , served in the common dining area, highly recommend this B & B ,

Everything was great. The attention, the location, the kindness, the room, the breakfast, everything. We arrived by car and they helped me with directions to the door of the hotel to unload luggage, then personally accompanied me to the place to pack the car. Phenomenal

Nothing to modify. Only minor thing, the shower in the bathroom is a bit small, the rest is excellent.

Very nice building, very historical, 5 min walking to main sites. Beautifully decorated and clean. The windows overlooking green areas within the city walls. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They helped us to arrange the taxi and served the breakfast earlier because we were leaving early in the morning. The breakfast also is very tasty.
