The breakfast was outstanding with local produce and so nicely presented. Our room was very spacious, clean and well equipped. Although it was very difficult to find the place on the narrow streets, once you got the hang of it, it was worthwhile staying at the superb, little hotel

The room had only a bath with a handshower, which was not a problem for me, but for my partner, who is very tall, the lack of a proper shower was slightly difficult. Having said that I had made the reservation and obviously I took it for granted that there would be a proper shower.

We were only there 2 nights and did not have a chance to eat breakfast as we were out early in the morning. The breakfast room looked great, overlooked the canal. Breakfast looked great. We wished we could have had breakfast at least one day. The room was very large. Lot of closet space. Location was great. We needed to take a water taxi to and from the train station and there was a slip right next to the hotel. Took us 2 minutes to walk to the hotel when we got off the boat. The ferry was only a short 7 minute walk if you did not want to pay for the water taxi. Great location. It was a family staff, brothers and mother. All were very nice and helpful.

The shower was a little small, however manageable. Not much more to say about what I didn't like.

The place is excellent. Everything was above our expectations (which were already very high). I traveled with my girlfriend for her birthday, and wanted everything to be perfect. And definitely that was the case. The indications provided to reach the place, as well as information regarding activities and places to know in Venice, were very helpful. The location is ideal, next to the Canal Grande and just a few blocks from the Ponte de Rialto. In other words, pretty close to the main touristic attractions but still in a quiet spot. We were given a very big and comfortable apartment. Everything was extremely clean. The bedroom, the bathroom, the living room, all had all the necessary installations. The continental breakfast offered all kind of foods: fresh fruits, cereals, different varieties of cheese and ham, eggs, bakery, yogurt and marmalades. The price is very reasonable. Definitely this is the place we will stay next time we visit Venice.

We felt very well in such a beautiful place. We've appreciated, mostly: - the rich and tasty breakfast; - the wonderful atmosphere in the breakfast room (gorgeous view to the Canal Grande; the classical selection for the background music; room decoration); - the room space; - the hospitality of our hosts.

In the attic, mainly due to the poor insulation of the windows and the proximity to the outside, it's not as warm as it should be. We expected to find genuine espresso coffee at breakfast but we had americano.

the property was so well maintained and beautifully authentic as far as the venician vibe . the staff is so caring and helpful- they are ready to help at anytime and will show you exactly what to do according to your needs . the rooms were spotless and well situated . we had a room with direct view on the grand Canal . the food was top notch with selection and quality. we had an amazing experience and really felt like we were in Venice ( which puts differentiate them from other traditional and contemporary hotels ) - the staff also speak great English and French on the top of Italian which helped us feel more comfortable

I can’t imagine there is a better located play to stay in Venice. Everything you want to see is within easy walking distance from the Ca’Angeli - supermarket for wine too! We had the suite #1 and our kids had the next door room #2. The view from our window was directly on to the Grand Canal and just sitting with a glass in the evening and listening and watching the hustle of the boats is a pleasure few will have unless you stay here - suite #1 though. Complimentary bottle of Prosecco for us was a nice touch. Breakfast with the other small number of guests is very pleasant and the selection is what you’d expect. Cold meats, cheese, cereal, yoghurts, jams, toast, fruit, boiled eggs, cakes etc. Oh and a great orange juicer you have to do for yourself. You’ll note in my review that “facilities” are rated as ok. This is not a criticism, it is a guest house magnificently located, not a 5 star hotel where you stay in it and don’t go out to explore. It looks difficult to find but we followed Google maps from Santa Lucia railway station and we were there in 20 mins walk. It was easy. Yes you do have to walk down a few dubious looking streets but hey, that’s Venice all over! Any questions, happy to answer them.

There is nothing we didn’t like. The staff are friendly and informative, especially Giorgio! and we’re there if we needed them for advice. The suite was very spacious and comfortable. Perhaps a mirror in the #1 main room would have been useful.

The location is very good. It was a bit difficult to find it initially, but the place is really great. Quiet, no city noise. Breakfast overlooking the canal, very pleasant. Excellent service. Special praise to the male administrator of the evening shift, who was very thorough - explained what and where was located, booked tickets to the islands, was very friendly and helpful

The location could be highlighted even better to make it easier to find. The lobby on the 1st floor could be renovated, at first glance it was desolate.

Great location on grand canal, few minutes walk to Ponte Rialto, 2 boat stops (ACTV) very close to the hotel, quiet place hide from the main tourist crowds, cozy clean rooms in typical old Venetian style (we had the room with the large terrace and superior double bed room). Breakfast was rich and delicious (wide selection more like German/Austrian than Italian style). Reception was very helpful, already before arrival we have got a lot of useful information. Elevator to the rooms was also good with all the bags + stroller we had. Definitely recommend!!!

This was an excellent choice for a stay in Venice. it was easy to find by water taxi, as the hotel previously gave us very good instructions for different methods of transport. The rooms (suite overlooking the grand canal) was great - a good size, two windows with views directly onto the grand canal. The breakfast was also very good, with plenty of continental options. The staff were all really helpful and made us feel very welcome, providing some good tips for restaurants in the evening.

We loved Ca'Angeli! Everything was so charming and just as described online. Anywhere in Venice seems like quite the walk from public transportation, but we were perfectly located to everything else. We were also extremely grateful to be greeted by very friendly staff who sat with us and helped us figure out everything from restaurants to points of interest to walking routes. It was greatly appreciated!
