the location was perfect! and the service was excellent. our host/manager took time to pick us up at the water taxi location and helped us with our bags. also made all the reservations I requested. the space itself was quaint and was good for the 3 of us but wish it was a little bigger.

The location is amazing, in a very central position near Piazza San Marco and the best Venetian boutiques. Elegant interiors, all brand new and with great attention to detail. The most comfortable mattresses ever, we slept like logs. The staff are lovely and always willing to help. They suggested a beautiful patisserie nearby where we finally enjoyed the perfect Italian breakfast!

It's already perfect the way it is.

the property owners are amazing and really go out of their way to make sure you comfortable and enjoying your stay. the hotel feels very safe and only has a few rooms- although the one we stayed in was very small, I guess this is what you expect in Venice! very reasonably price the rooms are clean and well kept.

you are about a ten minute walk from the main strip of shops and you are a really decent walk from the main station. definitely buy a ferry pass and get on that to take you to the hotel. carrying luggage up the bridges isn’t ideal. they also only serve beakdasr on the weekend.

The bed is larger than other hotels which is very nice. The washroom (including the shower) are both pretty large in size. On top of that, the shower water has a high velocity which I personally really like. The room is very clean and the design is really creative and nice to look at.

I noticed that there wasn’t enough plugs in the room which resulted in me not able to charge several devices at once. It would be better if there were just 1-2 more.

Palazzina Fortuny is a jewel in the centre of Venice. We were greeted by Lara the manager who was delightful. Our room was perefct for three men. Location was close to everything. Ravi the night porter was very helpful. We were in the offseason (Nov 2022) so no breakfast available in the week but the Bar La Teatro round the corner was perfect for us. It is very close to the Rialto Bridge. We walked there from the train station but we had small wheelie cary ons. We will definitely stay there again and hope to meet Lara again

We had booked a Mediterranean cruise for our entire family of 14. When we were tested for Covid at the port one family member tested positive. They whisked he and his wife away immediately to isolation for 7 days and denied boarding for the rest of us, leaving us stranded at the port. We found this property online and were pleasantly surprised it was available. We found van service to get us there and were even more impressed when we got there. The property is like a Tuscan fairy tale, secluded with a pool (which the kids were in day and night) beautifully appointed rooms — even a tower with a view to die for! But the biggest thing for us was the extra personal service we received from the owner, Roberto. Upon seeing we had no transportation he took us to get groceries, dinner and even arranged the rental of two vehicles to help us explore Italy. This property helped us turn a lemon into lemon drops, lemon aid and lemon chiffon pie. Our family will never forget this and expressed that they were glad we didn’t get on the boat to have this experience instead. We cannot recommend it highly enough! Thank you Roberto!! Not one thing.

Everything went well. We needed to modifiy our arrangements at the last moment and the staff excelled in getting everything reset. They arranged for the Water Taxi and met us at the Dock to escort to the Hotel. Once there, they helped direct us to anywhere we wished to go. The Location can't be beat, just off one of the main streets. Highly recommend and would stay there in the future.

Lara went above and beyond for us. Her positivity, friendliness, professionalism and charisma were infectious. She not only recommended a restaurant for us but walked us over there as well, after her shift. We even bought a Vodaphone SIM card and were left in the dark until Lara called the company and deciphered what was happening in that process for us. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone not only for the location and facilities, but just for Lara. We will be back.

Didn't like the fact that we didn't stay longer.

beautiful property and exceptional staff. met us at the dock and walked us through the narrow alleys of Venice which was a huge help when arriving at night. they provided a map and highlighted some excellent restaurants for us. very centrally located without being overwhelmed by tourists at all times. they even provided a bottle of Prosecco for us on our honeymoon which was a very kind gesture

don’t open the windows as there are mosquitoes in Venice! no fault of the hotel

Staff was very friendly and very helpful. The location was excellent and on a quiet block. The bathroom and shower were a good size.

The rooms are real small with the bed dominating the room. But there is a closet between the bedroom and bathroom that is small but sufficient, at least for us. I am still going with 5 stars because other than the size of the room, it was perfect.
