City Express Plus by Marriott Tijuana

The facility was great super clean , the staff man they are a 10 star crew . The gentleman who was serví breakfast this morning sep 03,2023 at Around 8am was just the best of best just made peoples day amazing . The was he treated Every single person that just walked it was amazing . Location was great , everything is near by . What made them extra special is there pet friendly.

The only thing is they don’t have coffee machines in the room like other hotels , trash cans (only in the restrooms )

We traveled for an event at the fiesta hotel which was a walking distance. The location is decent, we had a nice view of the city. Room was small but very clean. It did have ac which was awesome. For the price I expected a microwave at least but it's ok. Continental breakfast is free, but there is other dishes you can order at an extra cost. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and polite. There is a security guard at night walking around the parking lot so our vehicle did feel secure. The hotel is in a transit street. There is an oxxo (like a 711) and a caffeino across the street.

The location was great! Right by our favorite spots to eat tacos.

The only couple of things I can say is that we didn’t like was that our room was never cleaned. But that was fine because it wasn’t like we were at the hotel all hours of the day. And they dont have a pool.

This hotel is located in a very busy street. You're within walking distance from a few bars if you enjoy a nice homebrew beer. Its also located next to a new complex on which they are building new restaurants. Public transportation is right in front of you.

I usually like dropping by this place since its close to many things I like to do and for a relatively cheap price for its location, but this last visit I saw a few dirty spots on my room (hairs on showers, dirt on the floor, water marks on glass decorations, etc). Also the free breakfast option is from 6 AM - 9 AM, I appreciate the free breakfast but you need to be up very early in order to get it, in my case I rather relax and sleep in a bit late.

I liked the ambience of the location. The hotel guests were very nice, helpful, and the staff were hilarious when you speak with them. The beds are very comfortable and the restrooms were amazing too. We were at a previous hotel with hard beds and we weren't able to get a good rest. It's all about comfort over price.

I didn't like the fact that we were confused when entering the building since the main lobby is not what you see when walking in. No one guided or directed us to where we needed to go until we asked the employees in the front. Also, we had to ask a stranger how the elevator worked. It would have been nice to know what they were serving for breakfast beforehand. Other than that, no further complaints!

The price was good. The room was clean and up to date. Parking was plenty enitire building was nicely decorative in modern deco. The only friendly staff I came in contact with was either a security or co concierge guy who welcomed me at the entrance. Sadly he handed me off to an unfriendly check in staff at desk.

Only 1 shower towel in the room. Complimentary breakfast was only from 7-9am. Check in staff not rude but unwelcoming vibe, unhappy. Not even a smile.

The property was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We stayed at a more “upscale” hotel called Hotel Lucerna but the service and quality of the hotel was horrible. They had a power outage at the hotel for the whole day so we asked for a refund and found this hotel. Glad we found this hotel because it was cheaper and a lot nicer than the hotel we originally were staying at.

Comfortable room, very well located facility.

This is the second time we have problems with the towels. This last time the hand towel was dirty and displayed a medium-size shredded area. Not the thing someone would expect from a business like this.

My stay at City Plus Tijuana exceeded my expectations. I'll give it a 10 + on cleanliness and staff. I have to say the staff was very friendly, having someone always at the entrance just felt safe.

This City Plus hotel location does not have a pool for future stays. It would be nice if it did have a roof top or indoor pool. I will be considering other City Plus locations around Mexico for future.

I like the hotel amenities and location. Very comfortable and clean.

The staff is very unwelcoming and seems like they don’t want to be there. So they make the hotel which could 10/10 feel very cold and drops on our rating. Please work on customer service!
