Grand Hotel Tijuana

the location was great within walking distance to lots of restaurants and plazas near by. they have a great breakfast brunch and the food was delicious. the room it self had a great view, spacious and comfortable beds.

Random room checks in the afternoon which I thought was very odd, they just open the door… you can hear people in the hallway and upstairs.

The room has a beautiful view of the city and part of the golf course. The location of the hotel is fantastic. I loved the pool area and jacuzzi, perfect for a relaxing day. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

I did not like being stopped at the lobby elevators and having our shopping bags checked for alcohol. We had 2 cans of drinks that were not allowed up into our room. This is very disappointing considering we purchased room service several times throughout the day and only purchased outside items not available in the hotel. I did not like that in the bathroom of our room you could hear the plumbing day and night a constant knocking sound.

I loved the hotel common areas, the bedrooms were spacious and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Having had recent shoulder surgery I was unable to do many things for myself amd the hotel staff stepped up above and beyond what I could have hoped for to assist me. The hotel is beautiful and located in a great area. I couldn't have made a better choice.

I didn't like that so many of the food items had cheese and dairy products on them. No consideration is shown to people who are lactose intolerant, allergic to dairy or whom are Jewish and cannot mix meat and dairy together. Cheese and other dairy products should be on the side so people who want it can use it while those who don't can opt out of its use.

1) I was given the wrong key on first check in 2) I was given the key to a room that had guests already checked in and I walked in on a child watching tv by himself in his underwear: he was terrified…second attempt at checking in 3) I was given a tv remote that didn’t function. room service responded with another remote…unfortunately it didn’t work either. our room a little louder than we had hoped for. the hallways is very busy and you can hear everything outside the door very clear

They took a deposit from my account tried Multiple time calling to find out why it taking so long to reflect they advised me to reach out to the bank I did and my bank stated it not yet showing on there end I called back again and there customer service is the worst they transfer u over and over again and the are full off attitude the place u on hold without your knowledge then transfer u to someone else which don’t have any idea what u talking about and there attitude is really bad

the pool is wonderful the spa not warm enough. Wish they had little refrigerators in the rooms though, that would make for A perfect 10! The restaurants are great, breakfast buffet is about 15.00 which is expensive but it is good and plentiful. we have stay at this hotel at least 6 times since 10/2022. The one change I would like to see is the refrigerators in the rooms. a microwave would be nice too but a refrigerator is really needed. the staff wasn’t as friendly and outgoing as in the past except the cleaning ladies they are super nice and go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. the check in stay should take smiling lessons though. we do love staying here. the pool and food keep us coming back here.

no refrigerators , when staying multiple days it would be nice to keep drinks cold. leftover food cold so you can safely eat it later. since you don’t have any ice buckets that are insulated to keep ice in overnight, refrigerators would go along way to a perfect hotel.

The view was great, the door man was perfect answered all my questions. Front desk perfect in every way.

There was no ice. In the US each floor has an ice machine so you can have a cold drink in your room. If you had business cards with the hotels phone number and address on it that would have really helped, I could have put one in my wallet and then just showed the cab driver so he would know where to go.

Location is close to the upscale gastronomic district, tons of excellent restaurants. Location is a safe and quiet area. Very inexpensive - excellent value. Friendly, english-speaking staff. Parking is (almost) free (actually its $1 per day). based on other reviews, it wasn't always free, but it is now.

Location is far from downtown area - Uber is a must. Room was awkwardly planned and smaller than I expected - review the photos carefully. Hotel is showing its age, definitely not sleek or modern, but clean. Outdoor pool is tiny and given how many people swim in it, is a little dirty.

we had a well appointed room on the 28th floor! the maid service was very good. pool area was so nice and clean. This room actually had a little refrigerator !!! That made our 4 day stay here a TEN!! I wish ALL the rooms had a refrigerator ! we love staying here at The Grand Hotel Tijuana!! We visit Tijuana often, have tried other places but always decide this Hotel is perfect for us. We don’t bother going elsewhere anymore!

restaurants inside are expensive.

It is central located around everything so that’s a good thing. They do have a casino inside. They also have a couple of restaurants so it has a little bit of everything for everyone.

I would wish when you go to the front desk, they could have more information about the local restaurants, I think it would be so idea if they had a shuttle van to take you to different restaurants if you do not know the area
