Hotel Frontiere Tijuana

My stay here was a very pleasant surprise. I booked it last minute in the middle of a roadtrip and found myself staying in a room worthy of a trip of its own: The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, beautiful and confortable. The service was impeccable, we were recieved by courteous staff that took care of our every need, regardless of the time of our arrival. We were tired and cranky from the road and highway motels, and we were able to relax, rest and laugh during our stay here. I'll definitely be staying here again when I come back to Tijuana. If you're looking for a comfortable stay in Tijuana, look no further. This is the place for you.

fast check in, doors have codes but hopefully you don't loose that code, as its written on your check in paper/receipt. parking right at door step or behind the hotel, easy to walk..

you couldn't smoke around the hotel, as there were signs everywhere even in the parking lot in the back saying no smoking. i guess its the city/country rule, but in USA we don't have it so it was weird... i mean i still smoked :)

Everything is in walking distance. I like that I can park my car and walk everywhere, soccer stadium, shopping mall, grocery store, convenience store, entertainment. I love it.

Limited parking close to rooms. But there is additional parking a little farther from rooms. Enough parking for everyone.

Hi, I just want to say that the staff charged us again for the room at check in time. They told my guest that it appeared i did not pay for the room. It was 12 midnight so my guest didn't want to blither me at that time and paid for it.. That was a HUGE!!!! inconvenience for them...

I like the location, the attention of the gentleman that took me to show me my room and the attention of the cleaning ladies....

I didn't like the service of the person that took care of my check-in, I didn't like that the room looked like it wasn't vacuumed, the carpet is old and it had a big tear.....need little improvement...

Perfect location to access gallerias at the hippodrome / Xolos stadium and Zona Rio/ Aguas Calientes neighborhoods.. just don’t drive in Tijuana on Saturday as there is a lot of traffic

No smoking signs everywhere including the open air back parking area - I guess they have to post them By law?

Good location, modern facility, nice staff, good parking, reasonable price.

Bear with me here. If you are a family or a sports team who wants to get out of the room and into the common area, between rooms and talk and laugh, this hotel is fabulous, this is your place. If you want to stay in your room and enjoy no noise, this is not your place to stay when the soccer team from Ensenada is in town, staying there, and winning, cheers. LOL, does this make sense?

The most professional staff, courteous, attentive, thoughtful, helpful - from among the six hotels I have stayed at in Tijuana. My favorite ceviche restaurant is across the street. The Nike factory store is nearby. The location is easy to access in Tijuana.

The facility is older, the rooms are small, (and clean) yet the price is competitive. They do control the noisy celebrations and ask them to please quiet down. You do the math...

It’s was comfortable and clean (the remodeled rooms at least)

The outdated rooms (princess) was old, the water didn’t drain well, the carpet smelled bad and the furniture was really outdated. We found a roach in our room near the closet the first night we stayed in the older rooms

Affordable and clean. The food in the restaurant was good.

My room was a bit old and it was different than the room in the photos on Booking. The room in the photos on Booking are much more modern and when I asked the hotel about it, they said those rooms cost more. I understand that, but those modern photos should not be used to advertise older rooms. That's classic baiting and switching. The room wasn't bad; just falsely advertised.
