The boutique hotel is a treasure! My room, Girasol, was large, beautifully appointed with modern fixtures and gorgeous wooden doors, shelves, wooden coat hangers, plenty of lighting and electrical outlets, air conditioning, a coffee maker and security box. The staff is excellent. The reception area the staff calls for taxis and responds to one’s needs. There is a kitchen/dining room for breakfast, chairs on a patio, and an outdoor small covered area with barstools and tables and a fridge with beverages one can purchase.

I have not one negative comment.

This is a lovely, small hotel with a fabulous staff! Good location, quiet, very clean, and well-appointed. The building was apparently rehabbed within the last 2 years, with smartly designed rooms. Everything needed is within easy reach. You can control the temperature with a very quiet mini-split. The bath with skylight and rain head shower was wonderful. Rooms include Netflix, coffee maker, bottled water, nice linens, black-out drapes, and bathrobes! A small courtyard with comfy chairs has a little, shaded bar on a patio. A hearty breakfast is served in a large kitchen with a nice homey feel. This place just makes sense. Don't hesitate to book!

The location was very good, just a few blocks outside the historical zone. The room furnishings, amenities and wifi were excellent. All the staff were very helpful and quick to respond to concerns. I arrived early for check-in and I was offered breakfast while I waited for my room to be ready. Muchas Gracias! The property is small and everyone eats breakfast at a communal table in the separate kitchen area. The woman who makes breakfast asks each guest what they would like to eat that day and she is very accommodating. A little bit of Spanish is much appreciated!

I had the king-size room at the front of the small property, street-side, which meant that meant late-night and early morning traffic was just outside my ground floor window.

I loved my stay here. Everyone is so warm, friendly and welcoming. Very accommodating. Rooms were super clean. The breakfast was delicious. One of our friends was at another hotel and she'd come hang out with us and they fed her also, ha! They're just the best. Will definitely be my new spot to stay when I come to Oaxaca.

There was construction going on right next door while we were there so that was a bit annoying since the walls are thin and you can hear it as it it were in the room but we were out most of the day so it wasn't that big of a deal.

We liked that the hotel only has 5 rooms. The room and bathroom were cleaned spotlessly each day. The staff was very helpful and supportive. They arranged for a tour and taxi. One morning they served breakfast to our visiting family members at no extra expense to us. Breakfast was included with the room. Coffee, chocolate, fresh fruit and made to order eggs was a great breakfast.

I honestly can't think of anything they should change.

It is a very cozy small hotel, well located within a 10 minutes walk from the bus terminal and the main square of Oaxaca. It is quiet and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. Every morning we had our delicious breakfast prepared by a lady called Alma who was very lovely.

A very minor point was that the pressure in the shower suddenly varied a few times. Other than that we have nothing to complain.

The location, the service and cleanliness, and breakfast was very good. A newer hotel that is well appointed and run. Alfredo the hotel manager is very accommodating, pleasant and helpful. We even extended our stay and would have stayed longer if the property was not sold out for the other dates. Highly recommend this property.

The room we stayed in was Lily and closest to the kitchen. There must be some loose water pipes that we heard banging all day and night. It for sure requires to be fixed. Alfredo offered us another room but we declined since the bed was smaller.

The hotel is very nice, it has a cozy garden with some tables to hang around. The center is a few blocks away, and very close to some of the best restaurants in Oaxaca. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. The best is the staff, Afredo and Alma take care of everything. Alfredo recommended great tours, mezcal tasting and got us a driver to go to some towns nearby and see the alebrijes. They cook homemade breakfast very tasty and they are very flexible, so if there is anything you'd like they can arrange it for you.

The first night I had trouble with the lights outside my room, it was very bright. But I told Alfredo and the next days they turned off the lights and had no trouble afterward. Also, my room was next to the street, and it might be too noisy for some, but I did not have a problem considering that I spent New Year there.

This hotel is a gem. The hotel is a little more than a 5 minute walk to Santo Domingo Cathedral and plaza and about a 15 minute walk to the Zocalo, the two bookends of Oaxaca's Centro. It has 6 or 7 rooms and a tastefully decorated courtyard with a nice green lawn. Breakfast sitting at a table on the lawn was one of the most pleasant spots of my day. Each room has its own router, easily the best wifi on my trip to Mexico. Alfredo, the muy acojedor manager, is an 11 out of 10. The morning I returned to the hotel from the beach, he offered me coffee and fruit and had reserved my previous room. Both times that I needed an early taxi, they were waiting outside.

Nothing to complain about

The property was very close to the wedding I attended. It was also very close to Oaxaca City Center. I was created by desk staff upon my arrival and was taken care of with breakfast every morning, and excellent customer service whenever I needed a taxi or had a question. I was also always greeted at any point during the day and was always asked how my day was!

Everything was perfect.
