Naala Tulum

We are a family of 4 and we stayed here for 5 nights in one of the rooms for 4 persons on the ground floor. Booked completely last minute without any research and were pleasantly surprised with our stay. - great value for money - great location, short drive to beach and easy walk to the centre, close to many restaurants and great supermarket. - clean, great shower - garage parking - friendly staff, easy communication - beach towels available for free - haven't tried breakfast but there is a fantastic french bakery right in front of the hotel where we had coffee and breakfast every morning - lovely rooftop pool area. We loved the beaches in Tulum so much that we haven't used the pool at all but we went up once just to see it and it looked nice. Sunsets must be really pretty from up there.

- beds are really small - the hotel is quite noisy. There is a huge construction site right next to the hotel. Literally a new hotel being built in front of our bedroom, maybe 20 meters away. Construction would start at around 7am and it would be over by 5pm. A part from the construction noise, music and people partying can be heard quite a lot during the night. We did not care as we sleep like babies during night and we were out 99% of the day but if you are a light sleeper, like to sleep longer than 7 am or imagine spending a quiet afternoon on your balcony this is probably not the place for you.

The room was beautiful and clean and we had a nice garden view, the staff was amazing and friendly. The pools had an amazing view over Tulum. Food and drinks perfect, we celebrated my fiancées birthday there and had an amazing birthday dinner, thank you for the amazing experience

We didn't get complimentary water, only on the first day, after that you have to buy the water. The internet was also slow or didn't connect at times and the elevator on our side of the building didn't work which was annoying sometimes since our room was on the 3rd floor

This hotel is a great choice for a stay in Tulum, as it's located between the beach area and Tulum Pueblo. It's only a 15min bike ride from the Archeologic site of Tulum. The room was super spacious and clean. We liked the interior and the bed was one of the most comfortable we ever had! The breakfast is served on the rooftop and consists out of fruits, cornflakes, juices and a selection of eggs made-to-order. We particularly enjoyed the rooftop infinity pool after a day of exploring, with a very nice view over the green jungle environment of Tulum. Highly recommended!

Bike rentals is not free, would've been nice to offer free bikes to guest, taking into account the upscale image of the hotel. Also, there is some construction going on around the hotel, which may result in some noise. Nonetheless, this didn't bother us.

Lovely hotel with all the facilities you would expect. The pictures on Booking also very well reflect the real thing. The staff is very friendly, our room was fantastic! Very clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend and go back ourselves.

The location is a little bit off-centre, but we actually didn't mind because it was more quiet. You can go to city centre in like 10-15 minutes walking. The hotel advised someone for trips, but he never replied. The prices for food and drinks can be a bit high.

The atmosphere is unic, is classy and preserve the nature. The Deluxe King Room is big, the bed is comfortable and the bathroom has hot water, that was a problem in other places. The best part is the roof top pool, they have bar service at the pool so you don't need to go out, the view is incredible

The pictures of the room shows the garden view and we thought we will be in a room like the pictures, but they placed us on the entrance view, we could see all the time the guy from security so the terrace was a waste. Also in the room was a little puff, I sat down and I saw a long dark hair and some white stains, so it was not very clean.

This was the second hotel we stayed at in Tulum, the most impressive thing for us was the rooftop pool area, it was so much bigger than I was expecting and also a lot deeper pool than others we’d been too. The food and drink from the bar was nice, and the massages were incredible. Highly recommend watching sunset from up there. The rooms were very simple, but clean. The staff were always helpful and they have a guy that sells trips and tours too which we did. It’s in a great location, right between town and the beach.

The only issues we had was that our room was directly next to the generator so it’s all we could really hear if we didn’t have music on.

- Lovely rooftop area with different places to chill and two pools. I especially liked the net thingy to lie in and the bigger pool with the waterfalls. - The breakfast omelettes were really tasty! - Friendly and attentive staff both at the café and at the reception, always there to help out or give tips on what to do. - Comfy beds with good blankets. - Shower: good water pressure, good temperature control.

- The plastering of the pool was flaking off at several places. Potentially needs renovation soon. - Some towels had (minor) stains - Rooftop café closing at 18:00 already. Possibly due to visiting during low season, but still would have been nice to enjoy a drink after 18:00 at the pool. - Strange system with voucher cards for pool towels. You have to give the Café staff a towel card in order to get a towel, but if you leave after 18:00 you won't get the card back ... also then you're able to just take the towels laying there without the card. - Apart from the very nice omelettes the breakfast buffet was rather small and sometimes lacked glasses and plates for juices/fruit.

This hotel was really nice. The staff was friendly and the grounds were beautiful. Breakfast was also pretty good. It was quiet during the week, but it started to get more crowded on Wednesday Night. The location is also great. Being halfway between the downtown and the beach was ideal and everything was a bike ride away.

The room was a little humid. Perhaps theres a setting on the air conditioner that we couldn't find, but it was hard for our clothes to stay dry which was annoying. Also, (and perhaps they're not allowed) taxis are expensive here, so a shuttle from the bus station to the hotel would be nice.

Wonderful hotel situated in Tulum pueblo near the shopping center Chadraui. Many choice of restaurants near the hotel. The decoration is simply amazing! The rooftop where the pool is situated is fabulous and watching the sunset from there is unforgettable. Rooms are very nice and big and all have a balcony. Our room was just under the restaurant so it was sometimes noisy with the people moving their chairs. The staff at the reception are very nice and helpful. We have rented bicycles at the hotel to go to the beach. It takes approx. 20-30 min depending the beach club. There is an underground parking for cars which is very convenient. Breakfast was busy and we did not understood how the proposed menu worked. We highly recommend Na'ala Tulum for holidays. We will back for sure.

Our room was just under the restaurant so it was sometimes noisy with the people moving their chairs.

the staff at the reception and in the rooftop restaurant was very friendly and helpful. the rooftop pool and lounge area are very beautiful and nice to relax at. the groundfloor rooms are specious, the AC works well and the water pressure in the shower is good. the hotel design over all is beautiful. the location is very nice, safe, not loud at night and easy to walk everywhere. they have a bike rental that works well.

the mattress was super soft and really uncomfprtable my partner and I had both back pain after sleeping on it for 5 nights. the breakfast hast a good cereal and fruit station. the a la carte menu is very limited they only serve pancakes, eggs (either scrambled, omelette or sunny side) and bread with butter and jam. my partner is allergic to egg so he had to eat the same withe toast with jam every morning, there were no savory options at all. the tours eg for coba or akumal offered by the hotel are more expensive than all tours offered online.
