Hotel Posada 06 Tulum

Such a lovely hotel! All the staff were super friendly and helpful, from the breakfast team to the front desk. There was somewhere to refill bottles of drinking water which was great. The room was lovely, with good storage space and a safe, the balcony was really cute and the pool area was great to relax in after hot days exploring. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was powerful. The location was excellent, right by the main street with lots of shops and places to eat. It felt safe to walk back to as well. Absolutely loved staying here and would definitely come back!

The shower pressure was a bit weak but wasn't a big issue and there was no full length hanging space - however plenty of drawers so wasn't a big deal. The breakfast is a bit basic but fine for the price. These are really small things that didn't detract from the stay overall.

This is a nice little hotel in a great location for walking around to shop and dine at restaurants. We chose this location because we knew we would be exploring during the day so just needed somewhere to sleep. We had a room on the top level with the outdoor tub, the room was nice and pretty big. The bathroom did have an occasional smell but that is typical in some hotels in Mexico. Bath towels could be replaced in our room, they were pretty old. The bed was comfortable and room was cleaned daily. The hotel provides a big water jug near the lobby to fill your own water bottles. The pool is small but nice to take a dip in after coming back from touring. Our room was on the 3rd floor and the hotel only has stairs so be prepared to walk up and down. Overall this met our expectations for the price since we weren't at the property much.

This is the first hotel I have stayed at that does not provide any coffee in the room, you have to buy coffee pods at the hotel desk for a few dollars, this should really be included in the price. Breakfast starts EXACTLY at 8am, which is the time most of the tour operators pick you up at the hotel, so you wont be able to eat the included breakfast if you have an activity planned.

The hotel itself is beautiful. Its close to main areas in town, just a 5-10 minutes walk from ADO station. The location is peaceful ane you can have a nice sleep. The pool structure is amazing. We loved that the male receptionist attened us with great customer care. The security aswell was so kind as he gave us some tips when taking the collectivos to the main attraction.

Continental breakfast service needed improvement.

- very weak, unstable and unreliable wi-fi - breakfast was seriously not good (not too good coffee, you couldn’t mix breakfast sets, like add some fruit etc., even uncomplicated eggs were either pure salt or raw veggies thrown to an “omelette”) - no smart TV some minor points: - for six nights, I received one set of shower cosmetics which were not later later replaced (needed to get them from the reception) - hotel couldn’t provide/arrange for ironing service - no hotel umbrellas

The staff at Hotel Posada were so wonderful. They welcomed us early, gave us great tips for the city and our room was so clean and smelled great with fresh towels every day. The girls who made breakfast each morning also were so sweet and helpful. The location is perfect and quite quiet.

Staff was very friendly, even though we barely spoke Spanish and they did not speak a lot of English. They arranged taxis for us almost every day. Breakfast was delicious. We kept several possessions locked in our rooms and even when it was cleaned the rooms were spotless and nothing went missing. From the hotel to the beach strip is about 12 minute drive, taxis charge about 20$ one way for 2/3 people. Bikes are 150 pesos per person. The first few nights my large group had the hotel to ourselves and were able to play music late into the night, after guests arrived we had to be more quiet. Clean water was available at the hotel.

location was great - near the center of Tulum ( near famous Taqueria Honório, bank, pharmacies, everything you need really) and also easy to access by bicycle or moto to the beach the hotel had bicycles to rent room was clean and beautiful breakfast was very nice with enough options staff was super friendly and helpful

I think it was great value for money!

The property was in a great location to Tulum CBD. close to the ADO bus terminal and the Central Park where you can get a bus to Tulum beach. really close to all the restaurants and bars. Saves you paying for a taxi after a night out. Christian was extremely helpful and friendly.

It would be nice if breakfast finished a little later than 10am.

We absolutely loved the location. It is right in the middle of town and walkable to bars and restaurants. It was also not far from the attractions and a cab was very easy to hail. The pool was so cute and the ambiance was very special. It's not a resort. It's a boutique hotel. You have to expect just that.

The bed was a tiny bit hard. My husband loved it.

I was very happy with our accommodations for our one week stay in Tulum. The location was great! It's within walking distance from many shops and restaurants on the main street of Tulum and about 15 minute drive from the beach depending on traffic. My partner and I booked the room with the outdoor bath and really enjoyed soaking in the moonlight on our balcony after long beach days and driving around Yucatan. It was the highlight of our stay at Hotel Posada 06 Tulum!

The breakfast was very basic and would have been nice to have some variety other than scrambled eggs and toast but wasn't expecting much to begin with.
