Zenses Wellness and Yoga Resort - Adults Only

The hotel is so beautiful and intimate. it was my first time traveling solo and internationally. Estella and Carlos looked after me like I was their own. They made sure I kept my passport and money safe and Carlos even walked with me to the local atm so I wasn’t alone. Estella checked every driver that came and picked me up and made sure they were taking me to the proper places and activities. Her and Carlos also made sure I got to my second hotel safely( the only reason I switched was because they were booked). Estella was always there to help even before I made it to Mexico. The breakfast was healthy and good, The hot rock massage and facial was AMAZING. Estella and Carlos are God sent and made me feel right at home and safe. I never felt uncomfortable or anything negative my entire stay there. I’m going to miss them so much! I definitely plan on visiting again in a few months! There are also lots of places near that you can walk or bike too. You can also get your COVID test taken at the hotel and have food delivered there also, along with a mini bar with snacks and drinks. The rooms are also way bigger than the picture shows which was a great surprise, hot water was always hot and nice, and I didn’t have issues with mosquitos or any bugs at all. you’ll love it here and feel right at home. There’s a lot more positive things I can say but don’t want this to be too long. All in all this was the perfect place for me to be visiting Mexico for the first time and Estella and Carlos made my experience a special and memorable one I always hold in my heart! Thank you !!

beautiful property with vegetation all around, every staff member was super helpful and pleasant, large and new seeming room, extremely quiet overnight compared to other places I have stayed in Tulum. breakfast was also good quality and pleasant ambience

on one day there was some construction noise from next door in the afternoon while I was at the pool but didn’t last too long

The staff, the room, the outside space (pool, yoga deck, breakfast space, all the plants that make it feel like you are totally in the jungle), how easy it was to rent bicycles and a scooter delivered to the hotel, the location (so easy to get to downtown by walking or biking, accessible to the ruins, beach area, cenotes), the yoga classes. I loved that this was just far enough from downtown that it was quiet and away from the parties. It really felt like an oasis.

Not much. I really want to come back here. But if there is one thing I would say, is that the breakfast takes some time to get. I wish it was a bit faster so we could get started on our day. I'm a big breakfast person and was hoping for more egg options, plantains, avocados. So this is the reason my overall experience wasn't 10/10. The breakfast was included so I don't want to go elsewhere. But it was still pretty good!

The location was perfect, a couple of minutes walk from great restaurants and the centre and only $20 to the beach. Staff was lovely and very helpful. The rooms are HUGE, great WIFI and AC. Bed super comfy and rooms always clean and bar refilled daily. Breakfast was also amazing! Pool area to die for! I will definitely return!

Didn’t have a bar during the day and weren’t aloud to bring alcohol in. But that wasn’t too much of a trouble.

Everything else was excellent. The breakfast is 10/10, the room is big, beautiful and clean as the hôtel and the staff is very kind (except one).

The lady at the reception desk tried to scam us : to do only 2.5kms (which cost around 7 dollars for this distance) she asked us 20 dollars. Trying to take advantage to your own clients is very a poor thing to do.

Beautiful little place in the town of Tulum, we absolutely loved it. The villas were clean, spacious and super comfortable. It's fairly quiet so its perfect for a couple. Yoga was an added bonus. Staff were also wonderful

The bicycles were very very old, handles falling off, almost flat tires, felt like we couldnt ride them too far from resort due to quality as it felt unsafe.

Everything! Stunning oasis in the hustle and bustle of Tulum. The room was beautifully decorated. I didn’t want to leave.

The filter in the pool seemed to be broken on our 2nd and 3rd day which meant the pool had turned green and there was algae/ green slime building up on the top level of the pool. No maid visit on our 2nd night even though we’d asked which meant all of our bins were overflowing. We tried renting one of the many bikes at the hotel but we were told we couldn’t use them as they were broken but they hotel did arrange bikes for us to rent from another place in town

The host Afonso was one of the best hosts I've ever had. He welcomed us very well and was really helpful with everything, gave tips about good restaurants and knew a guy for everything if he could not help you himself. The rooms were set up very nicely, big bed amd a big space with seperate sink outside the bathroom. Room service and towels are available everyday. The only 'downside' was that there was not a lot of sunshine in the pool during the day. So if you want to sunbathe it would be better to go to the beach during the day of which can be found multiple closeby. All in all we had a great stay and would definitely recommend staying here!

The hotel is like a hidden jungle gem in the heart of Tulum. Walking through the hotel premises, you'd never think you were in the middle of a city. The design is truly captivating and the rooms are fantastic, exactly as portrayed in the pictures. The only downside for me were the pillows, which were a little bit hard but this is subjective. However, the breakfast was delightful - you can choose a dish from the menu, and it comes with a small fruit bowl, yogurt and a granola topping. A special mention goes to Alfonso, who works at the reception. He deserves recognition for his exceptional service. Alfonso provided fantastic tips for all the tours and was honest about which ones were worthwhile and which ones weren't necessary. His warm and genuine hospitality shows how passionate he is about his job. Not only did he provide invaluable tips, he was always available for a lovely chat, discussing anything from local culture to world affairs.. Thank you, Alfonso! Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel. Despite being in the heart of the city, it offers a peaceful sanctuary to unwind and relax

We loved the immediate feeling of getting transported from a rundown neighborhood of Tulum to a paradise-like environment that Zenses offered. We loved the open-space concept of our room. We loved the included breakfast & menu options. My wife loved the yoga sessions. We loved the friendly & accommodating staff.

This is not really your establishment's fault...our room was Canela for our 3 nights. Unfortunately, some kind of home constructions were being done next door & the disturbing sounds came thru our walls...hammering...machinery used to remove floor tiles, etc. We put up with the noises knowing they couldn't keep working through the night; sure enough, by 2000 hours, they stopped! So, that was acceptable. Sophia offered to move us to a different room, away from those constructions; we declined because we knew the work was not all night long.
