XO Hotel Inner

The location was perfect as it was close to all the museums we wanted to visit (Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh, Moco etc.), close to several tram stops (5min by walk) and a supermarket (Albert Heijn, 7min by walk). The receptionists during our time there super nice and friendly. Fortunatelly our room was ready a bit earlier than the regular check in time, so we could enter our room earlier (but they do have a luggage room where we planned to drop off our luggage). The room was spacious and very nice with all the necessary amenities (towels, shampoos, coffee maker). You could also regulate the room temaparture which was nice. In the lobby near the reception there were a few machines where you could buy drinks, snacks and some hot bevarage.

The showers shouldn’t have gaps in the “walls” so it would prevent the water getting out, but thaťs just so the property doesn’t get damaged. Also the gap “in between” the tiles could be cleaned a bit more.

Was very pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Room was nice, bed good, bathroom dark but good. Sound proof windows and perfect location. Next to concertgebouw, and trams and major museums. Easy to reach from train stations. Breakfast was good price for major city but we didn’t have time to try it. Nice luggage storage room you could access yourself with key. Price was excellent for center of Amsterdam.

Coffee machine worked but had to ask for cups. Limited space in room and only one chair for three beds.

Location is great, grocery store (Albert Heijn) is a block away along with tram access. Fair number of cafes nearby. Very safe area. I didn't bother with the tram, I just walked into the city centre every day. Tap water is potable so you don't have to go out for water, and it's super hot so you can make tea/coffee. Rooms are modern, and while small they'll do the job. Everything is recently updated in the rooms. I'm a digital nomad and the wifi was good enough for nested VPN tunnels and taking calls in the US, but I should note that there were outages around ~10pm for two of my seven nights there. The front desk seemed to know what to do (they went into a back room and ostensibly power cycled a router) indicating this may be a recurring issue. FYI.

The bathroom is incredibly small. I'm not particularly tall (and probably short by Dutch standards) and I had issues maneuvering in the bathroom. No microwave, fridge, or ice machine on the property.

Nice staff, great location not too far from the city centre but still in a quiet neighbourhood. Rooms were celan, Coffee machine was only an extra in it. Own bathrooms which is rare in Amsterdam for this price.

• The room was clean and quite big. It allowed regulating the temperature by the guests themselves. • It was equipped with towels, hairdryer, coffee machine (with hot water option to prepare tea) and a TV set. Beds were big and comfortable with many cushions. • It's very closed to a tram stop and a supermarket Albert Heijn (about 3 minutes on foot). To get to Amsterdam Centraal we didn't have to change the tram and the route was about 20 minutes long. The hotel is also located just 5 minute walk away from van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum and Stedelijkmuseum which was very convenient as it made comfortable visiting possible - without the crowds and noises. • In the reception hall there are three vending machines selling hot beverages, cold drinks and snacks. To my mind the prices were very much reasonable. • There is always someone at the reception that you can talk to 24h/24h.

The room was good for us as we were mostly just sleeping in it and spent the whole days outside. But if you wish your stay to be about relaxing in a cosy hotel room then this hotel probably shouldn't be your choice as it is rather plain - it has all you need but doesn't make you want to spend there your whole day.

The hotel is very well located. It's not that close to the city center, but it has plenty tram stops nearby. The room for 4 people was simple yet very nice, clean and comfortable, with daily room service for cleaning and changing towels. The staff was friendly and we even left them some belgian/Dutch beers that we couldn't fit in our luggage, hope they enjoyed it 😆.

It was great to have a Nespresso machine in the room, but it was a little dirty, and leaking a bit as well.

Perfect location, really!! Modern decoration, comfortable bed, Nespresso in the room, modern bathroom, good cleaning service. I had requested a quiet room and I had one, thank you. The staff is kind, and ready to help.

Many young customers bring loud music in their rooms. Also many smoke drugs right at the hotel front door ; hotel staff should send them further away… not nice with you are a family with kids. Finally, the inside court of the hotel where bicycles are stored is very dirty. Papers and plastic should be removed every day…

Location was great, near the museums and canals. The surroundings were very pretty. The room was small and the window didn't have much of a view, but the bedroom was comfortable enough, was organized, clean and tidy and included everything you need. Breakfast wasn't that full of options, but still had options enough if you are not too picky, and everything I ate was good. Staff were very friendly, specially the ones I meet in the reception.

My window view was very limited. I saw the other building wall. But if I stick my head out I could see a see trees and other buildings.

Great service from the team - lovely welcome and really helpful. Room was clean and comfortable - plenty of toiletries for our group. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was good. Location was great with the tram service into the centre.

The shower was an issue. We couldn’t use the main shower as the drain wasn’t quick enough and the tray was shallow, so it flooded out. We had to use the handheld shower and keep switching it off to allow the water to drain. On the ground floor we had people (staff?) congregating right outside our room on their breaks.

The rooms are recently renovated. They are 9/10 clean. The staff is very kind and helpful. The location is great! The greater area is excellent and definitely safe. One of the best areas to stay in Amsterdam, 20-25 minutes to downtown on foot.

The shower, was renovated but they forgot to put a "water stopper" under the glass door. Every time we had a shower the whole bathroom was full of water afterwards because there was a gap between the glass shower door and the tiles. The mattress was very hard.
