The area was really close to the centre for the price, the beds were comfortable It was such good value for our stay over the 4 nights and we also had late check in at around 11pm and that gave us piece of mind for late arrival. All in all it was a great stay with really friendly and helpful staff.

The only think that we disliked was the room service it was great and the room was really clean and comfortable I would have just preferred if the room service was optional so we could decline on one of the days if we wanted too.

Clean, friendly staff, close to bars and a 20 min walk to centre

Everything was great. Stairs are steep so if you struggle with stairs it might be difficult, but a lot of Amsterdam hotels have steep staircases.

The hotel is perfectly located. Outside the old town, but 10-15 min walking distance from it, and also from the museum's area. Also surrounded by very interesting neighborhouds with excellent restaurants, cafés and bars. It's not the cheapest option, but Amsterdam is not cheap, and, is one of the cheapest you can get based on the location for a private room. So, very good price/location/quality ratio. The room was also very illuminated and comfortable.

I would have wanted to know beforehand that the hotel has 4 floors and it's only with stairs. For me personally this was not a problem, but this is very important information for certain persons. Other than that, everything was very good.

It is in a very pretty, central location in Amsterdam and you get all you need for an affordable price. The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, staff were friendly and there is a tram stop right around the corner as well as many places to eat etc! There was also a sink in my room which I really appreciated.

My only real complaint was how easily I could hear all the sounds around me. I woke up a lot from sounds coming from the hallway or outside. The building is most likely quite old and there just is a lot of (air) traffic around this area so it is very hard for the hotel to improve this so I do not blame them but maybe something to consider if you are a very light sleeper and want to stay somewhere longer.

I loved the location and the staff. The room was nice and clean. The cleaning staff were thorough and helpful.

I was there during Amsterdam Dance Event. And I booked 24 hours before arrival. There weren't many options left. That's probably why I paid more than €220 per night. This price should get you a much better hotel. Nothing wrong with this place. But it's just not €220-nice. I'd rate this hotel (the simple room I was in with a bathroom outside in the corridor) to be worth $100 per night maximum. But I don't know, maybe central Leidseplein is alway super expensive.

Good location, clean rooms, nice staff. Walking distance of many tourist attractions such as the van Gogh museum and the Anne Frank House.

The walls are thin but you can only do so much it's not a real problem.

The location was good but it was just a little bit out of central but we don’t mind walking. It was close to many of the shops.

The bed mattress was to big for the bed so sometimes it was sliding of the bed and made you feel like you might fall off the bed. The steps on the stairs are very narrow.
