Absolutely loved the neighbourhood — in fact, I had not fully explored everything when I booked this property but the longer we were there, the more we realized that the location was beyond perfect. Our room — top floor, street side — was wonderful. Lovely kitchenette w/ fridge. Lots of open space and room to breathe. The climb up to the top floor is a good incentive to pack light and keep things simple!

We had difficulties with the after-hours sign in process — specifically getting the room key cards made as the final step. For some reason, could not reach the On Call support person, so it was helpful that some guests happened by and they called from their phone. Eventually we got the assistance we needed, but it was a bit daunting for a bit. Important to note that the customer support throughout our stay was outstanding, so this was just a very minor blip re: checking in after hours.

The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful when we had problems with self check in.

Although it is stated in the property description, the hotel is located directly above a bar that starts playing loud music at around 11pm (not stated on website).

The location is great if you want to visit the canals and museums; everything there is to see in Amsterdam is reachable from this hotel. The room I had was huge for Amsterdam standards, and the private bathroom was also impressive. It was very clean, the room even had a kitchenette, a nice place to make a sandwich, and a coffee maker. The TV was working, too, the bed was very comfortable, and the view of the street was gorgeous. If you can, stay at this hotel and ask for a room with a street view. There's a bar downstairs, which plays loud music during weekends and is quiet during the week. The tram station is right in front of the hotel, and that's where the night bus from the airport dropped me. There is no elevator, and the stairs are narrow and steep, as everywhere in Amsterdam, so don't bring huge luggage. This was not my first time in Amsterdam, and I have seen other hotels. This is superior to a lot of places. I would stay here again.

- really clean room and bathroom - lots of extras (mini bottle of wine & wine glasses, mini stroopwaffels, sweets) - comfy bed - ceiling fan which was amaze when it was too hot - not too expensive and close to the centre - trams right outside the building - good nightlife right outside - self check-in which made it very easy as we arrived late in the evening

- had to walk up 4 huge steep flights of stairs which was awkward with suitcase but not properties fault - no lift - quite noisy but they do provide earplugs - found out on the last night that our door actually didn’t close properly so could be opened without keycard which is scary 😳

We loved our stay at Weber. The location was incredible. Everything was in walking distance and it was just a quick tram to and from central station. The room was gorgeous. Warm and cosy during the icy weather outside. The heaters were a dream and toasted the room even on the lowest heat. The bed was so comfortable. All facilities in the room were excellent. The online check in was clear and simple and we got into the hotel easily. We even loved the stairs as it made for a truly authentic Amsterdam apartment experience. There was a nice welcome guide and mini bottle of wine waiting for us in the room. Check out was also quick and the hotel kept our luggage for the few hours we had before catching our train.

The check out time is a tad early at 10:30.

It was clean, and the location was very convenient. Trams were just a very short walk away and price was worthy. It was cute that they had complimentary wine and stroopwafels. The kind lady at the desk was very accommodating and even agreed to safeguard our luggage as we roam the city after checking out.

I guess most establishment in amsterdam had very steep stairs and this property is no different. It was the steepest steps I encountered. Not suitable for people with plenty of luggages or children. Shower curtain needed to be changed.

Location was perfect, close to attractions (walking distance of Rijkmuseum area, Melkweg and tram stop). Room was super clean and modern with smart tv and coffee machine etc, bed was huge and very comfy. Staff were very friendly and helpful, they let us leave our bags before check in and even carried them up the steep stairs to the 3rd floor for when we checked in! Saw some reviews prior to our stay about noise from the bar below, but we barely heard a thing even with window open even though the bar was very busy at the time, plus ear plugs provided but we didn’t even need them.

Kitchen was useful and had good fridge and microwave could do with some more utensils such as there was no sharp knife or chopping board. Duvet a little thin which could be an issue if the weather was colder. only small things that did not take away from a great stay and we would definitely come back!

The location was great, very close to shops and restaurants, with trams nearby to get anywhere you need. Check in was easy, as there are machines in reception where you can check in anytime. Check out was also easy, as it could be done online and the keys left in a drop box in the reception. The place was clean and comfortable, with toiletries provided as well as tea/coffee. They also included a small bottle of wine, some mini stroopwafels and earplugs for the noise. It was easy to find and get to. They were quick to respond to queries through the booking.com app.

The rooms are all located above a bar, which could get quite noisy, and if you opened the windows then smoke would come into the room from the smokers outside the bar. The heating was a bit too warm when turned on, but the room was very cold if it wasn't on. The mattress wasn't a double, but two singles pushed together, which was a bit of a nuisance as they could separate during the night if you slept near the middle of the bed. The stairs leading up to the room were quite steep and the steps were narrow, which would be a struggle for anyone with mobility issues.

Great location with very big room and walk-in bathroom. We were in room six at the back of the building and well removed from the bar on the ground floor. As a result we had no noise issues.

We required self-catering for dietary reasons and selected this property because it listed a kitchenette. Unfortunately, all that is provided is a microwave and a kettle. There is no hob so if you need to do some REAL cooking you'll be disappointed. The property is probably best suited for young fit people who will eat out. The stairs is more like a ladder very narrow and very steep. I understand this is the norm in this district.

Great location - less than a 5 minute walk to a lot of restaurants, bike rentals and shops. Less than 10mins walk to a few of the major museums. Decent price for Amsterdam as was one of the cheapest I could find and the room exceeded my expectations. Friendly staff, very clean

The steep stairs were a challenge with suitcases but thats the case in most amsterdam accommodation so not hotel’s fault. Just the style of buildings in Amsterdam in general so nothing negative
