I loved the location , this was our second stay at the hotel and I have to say that the manager Philip was so accomadationing with a small issue we had. This manager went above and beyond to change our room, and he left lots of goodies as a way of an apology. We had proceco, soft drinks umberella, and a few more bits and bobs left in a very spacious room. Thank you to all the staff that made our stay unforgettable. We will be back in our favourite hotel in Amsterdam.

We had a noisy fan in the room which was faulty , but this was addressed by the manager Philip.

We thought the location was excellent, near all the museums and Vondelpark. The trams to the Central Station were under 5 minutes away. The room was a little small, but I went prepared having read all the reviews, you just had to be very organised. Empty your suitcase and use that as a little shelf for your handbag etc. Use the draws below the kettle and cupboards. Take at least 4 hangers each of your own, the clothes rail is fine but not enough hangers. From the reviews I wasn't expecting to get any air other than opening the door to the balcony but it does open another way like a window so that was fine. I loved the idea of the Honesty Bar where you could help yourself to drinks and sign up for what you had.

The lighting definitely could be better especially for reading, fine if you are just watching telly in bed. I did have to keep asking for milk for our tea and although we had 4 pods of coffee there were only 2 sachets of cream at any one time. Apart from that I would definitely go again, it isn't a large hotel but feels very cosy, homely and friendly.

Stylish hotel, friendly staff, comfortable clean beds, decent size rooms mine was lovely and quiet.

Lighting in room was quite low - looks very stylish but is not always practical. I had to use my torch to see safe numbers and Aircon controls! Needs more ambient lighting.

This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. I came for 5 days with my partner and immediately felt comfortable from walking through the lobby. It felt like a very chilled but upscale hotel, the staff were all lovely and wished me a happy birthday also. They gave us some tips for bars specifically for black music and I felt so safe. The room was a great size and the bathroom was gorgeous, I was worried when I read reviews it was small but realised those may be from people coming outside of Europe that may have really big bags. It was a great space and felt like a little home for the stay. I would recommend anyone to stay here as it was perfectly situated with restaurants, bars and a cute jewellery shop near by. I want to stay here again, thanks so much for making my birthday special!

The only thing was there was a small rack to put clothes on but nothing else which made floor space difficult because of living out of the suitcase but I wouldn't say that was a massive issue

the bed is so comfortable the pillows are so soft, we stayed downstairs. it was absolutely beautiful with a little pateó, and no noise from the Main Street. my friends stairs upstairs and they could hear a lot of noise so doe beware where you are stay may affect how you like it but I absolutely loved it there will definitely be going back when I travel to Amsterdam. it’s also round the corner from every thing or short distance walk, love the tv selections.

the floors hurt when your walking without socks it’s like wavy hard carpet like the ones you use to wipe your feet with

My friend and I could not fault the hotel. Our twin room was first class, comfortable bed, lovely shower and everything was spotless. The tea/coffee facility was also very welcome. When booking, I requested a room with a walk in shower which was gratefully granted. The location is so handy, only minutes from Leidseplein, Vondel Park and the Museum area. The staff we encountered were very professional and friendly, Keep up the good work, you are a bonus to the Company

This is a cosy, little hotel. Beautiful interior, mostly wooden which is why it's aesthetic. The location is perfect, almost near everything walking distance. Tram station nearby to go to farther places. Also, restaurants and grocery store nearby. The room window/door opens to a nice central staircase with no rooftop. the view is nice with sunrise, also enjoyable with the rain. The front desk were very nice and helpful especially maya who suggested a few cool places for us to go to, other ladies also helped us with train bookings (didn't catch their names). I would absolutely come back again and recommend it to anyone. Although, i must say the room/bathroom are pretty small and dark (not enough lighting), so careful not to over pack going there :))

No room service Early check out Because of the wooden walls, you can hear alot from your neighbors

We had a suite with a split level. The rooms and the hotel itself are well designed, give very cozy feeling and are comfortable, everything is very new, bed mattresses are comfy and the shower feels amazing. The room was warm, which is a big bonus these times

- on checkin at night the receptionist wasn't particularly friendly, but the day stuff was great - we had 2 separate beds joined together, so when either of us moved, there would be a crack in the bed which is easy to fall into. I believe this can be solved by using one bed sheet when joining 2 beds, then they stay together

The room's bathroom was very good. It was clean and modern, and the same can be said for the hotel overall. The hotel's location is perfect. It's very close to the centre of Amsterdam, with short walking distance to many of the popular attractions.

The room was too small for 2 people and a 6 night stay. The room felt very cramped with little room to move around. The room was just big enough to fit a double size bed and you had to walk sideways to move past it. And there was very little space to store our luggage and hang clothes. With hindsight we would have booked a bigger size room.

The room was lovely, the lighting just above the bed was brilliant. The bed was spacious and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was clean, with lots of small amenities (e.g. a sewing kit, shower cap) which was very appreciated. The receptionists were always incredibly informative and smiley, making me feel very welcomed. The reception is open 24/7 which was also reassuring. The room's decoration is modern with wooden ceilings.

I could hear noise coming from the corridors which was off-putting, given that I was there for work. The windows are pointed directly out and if the blackout windows aren't shut, then you can see everything and everyone staying opposite you which was quite disconcerting. 18€ for breakfast is excessive, particularly given not all of it is fresh.
