ASURE Gables Motor Lodge

We were greeted in a warm & friendly manner when we checked in. Once we were settled in, we were thrilled with the cleanliness of the whole unit; particularly the bathroom & toilet. We wanted to check out later than the usual time of 10:00am & found them to be very accommodating to our needs.

There was no coffee table or side table/s in the lounge area & although the bed was extremely comfortable, it would have been nicer that it didn't face' on to the kitchen area. Perhaps a pull-out sofa bed in the lounge; that way the guest could watch TV in bed

Immaculate and spacious for motel room. Larger bathroom. Kitchen worked well (did not have oven) and dishes and cookware of a good standard. Bed was wonderfully comfortable. Daily tidy up a bonus!

Parking is adequate but one must be very careful about entry and exit. Cars may not get to be close to rooms in the corner.

Convenient location, well appointed rooms and sanitarny facilities. Even a bottle of fresh milk was provided. The lady at the reception was very kind and welcoming. Good value for money. No extra charge for using credit card, unlike in many other locations in NZ where we stayed. 10% Discount at the local brewery was a bonus too.

All was good and no complaints whatsoever.

Spacious apartment including loungeroom and bathroom, large comfortable bed, large television providing multiple Sky channels, plenty of lighting, covenient parking directly in front of accommodation, reasonably priced and excellent value for money, manager/owner provided knowledgeable ibformation about tourist attractions

We were traveling to Greymouth to take the Transalpine train from the train station. It was a busy holiday weekend and this was one of our only options. It was clean, quiet, and we were able to walk to restaurants in town. Not far from the train station.

Reception was friendly & helpful. Things explained and assistance was available. Rooms were clean & beds comfortable. Close to shops and restaurants. Laundry was good with washing machine & dryer.

Quite happy with the motel and there was nothing wrong.

The staff were very accommodating. We were shuttled to the train. That was great. No sure if your website mentioned this service. If this is an extra cost we would definite use it. We are senior and this is really helpful.

Amazing staff, great facilities and location. Beds are extremely comfortable, facilities great. Have stayed here last year and will return next year also!

Fantastic place for a group or family to all stay in the one apartment (house). The staff at Gables were very friendly and super helpful - running us down to town and picking us up again later
