Coleraine Suites & Apartments

I picked Coleraine because of their good reviews and they are well deserved. The property is not new and has obviously hosted many a traveller but it is so well maintained and very clean. Our 2 bedroom had a nice corner view of the street and was very spacious. We really appreciated how clean and tidy the room was and well laid out. We also really liked the warm, smiling, gracious welcome we received at the reception even though we were early for check-in. The day we checked in was a scorcher and really warm. They were kind and do prompt to give us a table fan. However, when we found the room fan..it was awesome! That fan is a serious commitment to guest comfort...it cooled the whole lounge. Absolutely loved it! Overall we were left with a feeling that the property owners really care and take pride in this accommodation. Thanks for the lovely stay.

Nothing we didn't like...but perhaps the lighting could be brighter.

Lovely welcome at reception upon our slightly early arrival, and very happy to find that our request for adjoining ground floor rooms was available. Also that my very elderly mother of 90 years with limited mobility was perfectly catered for with a fabulous bathroom fitted out with wall handles and a shower with drop down seat non-slip flooring.

A few of the units have spa baths and there needs to be a late night time limit/curfew for using the spa jets as the rumble generated through adjoining units late at night is very disturbing for sleep.

It was exceptionally comfortable and there were excellent amenities. It far excelled the two motels I experienced closer to Christchurch, and for a far better rate. I wish the new managers the very best!

I suggest you change the window coverings for the windows that face the walkways - I could see inside my room from outside through the kitchen window and bathroom, despite the window treatment.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.The unit had most of what we needed,and access to a washing machine and dryer was most useful. Room was modern,very clean and tidy.The location was not ideal for us as we did not have a car but we did walk into the town centre, which was not too far away. However,the local taxis service was very good. Overall,we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Large rooms with everything that’s needed. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Modern and very clean.

Excessive noise from other guests; yes we stayed on an incredibly busy night and people these days lack respect for others but it makes for a hard nights rest. We are also secluded rural dwellers so probably over sensitive to noise too.

This accommodation had everything we needed even an umbrella and a makeup remover flannel. The bed has electric blankets, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, microwave, tabletop stove..it was spotlessly clean! Sky TV.

USB charging facilities were the only thing lacking.

When we arrived, the door to the room and all the windows were open giving it an extra breath of freshness. Proper milk in a glass bottle in the fridge. Big ticks.

Being woken at 6.30 am by the loud fire alarm and evacuation announcements. All well as it turned out, but could have done with a bit more sleep.

We appreciated the the friendly welcome, efficient check-in and extra touches like luxury towels, real pot plants. Close to a lively pub that served reasonable meals.

Nothing in particular, everything was fine for a 1 night stay.

Convenient location and the staff was very friendly.

Our main forces when we were finding a place to stay was somewhere we could cook. We like the space and providing us a facility to cook but it would have been useful if there was a rangehood.

Great property. Would not hesitate to recommend. Gentleman who greeted us at reception (I think his name is Tim, apologies if this is wrong), was exceptionally cheery and helpful and directed us to the restaurant over the road for dinner. The room we had was a 2 bedroom apartment and was HUGE. Great facilities.
