very clean with good size room. upstairs had a distant lake view and view of surrounding houses. own allocated car park. plenty of tea and coffee supplied. Room 9

shower fluctuated from very hot to cold and then ended up cold. Not much privacy with shared walkway to rooms. Bathroom window latch is loose and just needs a screw driver to tighten it before it falls off. mentioned to staff so I’m sure it will be done.

We recently stayed at Asure Ascot Motor Inn for one night. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that they are attentive to customer needs. Their staff went above and beyond by reserving a space specifically for our large trailer, despite the limited parking area. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The amenities provided were more than satisfactory, making our stay enjoyable. Moreover, the friendly atmosphere created by their staff made us feel welcome and valued as guests. I highly recommend Asure Ascot Motor Inn Taupo for anyone looking for a pleasant accommodation with great customer service and excellent value!

The staff were responsive and helpful beyond expectations prior to checkin. Our arrival went smoothly, which is important when travelling with someone on the Autism Spectrum. Our room was thoughtfully assigned, in response to my prior advice that our son has disabilities. The room was really modern, clean, neat, well appointed and efficient. I would happily stay their for an extended period. Even the people running the 4 Square over the road were kind and helpful. The beds were comfy, and we enjoyed the layout of the room/apartment.

The only thing that I didn't like was that the bathroom fan came on with the light, making nightlife visits loud. We remedied this by opening the venitian in the bathroom and letting in the street light. Overnight, there were noises coming from the ceiling, possibly pipes?? At time they were very loud, and woke me a few times. I eould probably get used to it overtime, and knowing what it was would have helped too. But, it was a little worrying at times, wondering if there was a leak or a problem.

Easy access, quiet, air-conditioned, clean, clearly well-maintained, tea-coffee-sugar stocks maintained on a daily basis - and functional - dual zone hotplate and microwave cooking facilities - good selection of pans, crockery, and cutlery. Good wifi, comprehensive SKY channels, and HDMI TV access for streaming. Nice view of Lake from our upstairs unit ... and able to sit outside and dry our swimming togs on the main balcony in the sun. Straightforward, unit-numbered, parking.

Well, the kitchen area was a bit cramped, and poorly lit (because a cupboard unit was directly above the work-area, blocking a down-light in the ceiling! But this is just nit-picking. This is a motel unit, not a one-bedroomed apartment in a 5-star hotel.

Good location, close to everything. 4 square across the road was handy. Clean rooms. Self contained facilities were good, everything you need. I didn't rank the staff because I never saw or spoke with anybody while there. Check in was via txt with instructions where key was located. Mobile number if we needed anything. But we didn't need anything. Recommend.

Very clean. Well appointed. Good furniture. Good views from first floor unit. Good size large modern TV. Pleased to have Sky sport. Good WiFi.

Although potentially a great TV, It had a picture fault that showed as pixel bleed that showed on some scenes on the lower half of the screen. The TV in the bedroom could not be operated by the remote. The spa bath diverter would not operate. [stuck],so the bath had to be filled with the shower head. I have told reception about these issues.

Lady at Reception was very warm and pleasant upon checking in, the facilities were very good and room was very great for what we needed and suited us. Really enjoyed the Spa bath and the bed was really good and comfortable not to mention Sky tv. It was very close in Taupo in that you could walk or drive, handy to everything.

There wasn't anything really to not like about,, the only minor things werre just general maintenance like in the bathroom the towel rail and clothes hooks on waill could be tightened up as they were loose but other than that everything was great.

Clean and tidy throughout, with ample room in bathroom and main living area. Location of motel was only a short distance from centre, but far enough away that you got no late-night noise or traffic. Shops virtually across the street with small supermarket and takeaways.

For some reason table lamps were there but not plugged in meaning I had to move furniture to find a wall plug and then plug them in.

Handy enough to town and the lake

the air-conditioning set up was strange and was on floor and ran out through window instead of being on a wall. It kept turning off because the hose had a kink and it was reading as 'full' constantly. It was really hot so we definitely needed it working. Then when we unkinked the hose it leaked on the floor. Also the diverter on the bath didn't work so we had to full the bath with the shower head but other than than that it was pretty good with everything we needed. Great value for the price we paid

Cleanliness, ease of access, location, value for money.

We booked for 12 people and beds were there for only 10 or (11 at maximum) guests, in our case there were six kids out of 12, so we managed by using a mattress from a broken sofabed. No shower gel or soap was supplied, handwash with shampoo and conditioner. One of bathroom fixtures was not working. One electric quilts was not working, Tissue paper box had only one tissue paper in it. TV had broken screen, only half visible correctly..
