Oasis Beach Resort

This place has everything for everyone. We got a 2 bdm as it was only a few dollars more and meant we also got a microwave and a small stove top it had a decent size fridge and bin. The bdrm had extra blankets in the drawer and small fan heater. Lounge with air conditioner, plenty of seating and a lot of channels. The pool is heated, outside spa- needed to be a bit hotter and a key to a back door that leads to the lake. You also have access to the motel next doors facilities too, grotto, bigger heated pool in photo, (sauna was out of order when we went), gym and restaurant and bar. Great price for what we got will definitely come again! :)

I found the receptionist very robotic and was missing that welcoming, positive vibe. When we left I felt she could have asked how the stay was but there was nothing. I'm in customer service myself so I guess thats why its obvious to me. I would have given this a 10/10 otherwise.

We love staying here, sure it's a bit dated but it's such a great location and the direct access to the lake (without having to cross any roads) is awesome. The kids especially love the big heated pool.

The spa pool isn't great, it's colder than the heated swimming pool. The whole place could do with a bit of a refresh ... although they'd probably charge more, so perhaps leave it as it is :-)

Close to the city centre. Clean and tidy. Had everything we needed. Our room was lovely and warm. Beds were comfy. Kids loved the hot outdoor pool although the private spa pools weren’t that warm compared to the swimming pool otherwise we will definitely be back to stay again in the near future.

The walkway can be a bit noisey with guests walking past and having the bathroom window by the walkway probably isn’t ideal either especially hoping out of the shower at night with the light on and you can see people walking past. (Bathroom window was frosted of course but still cringe)

Stayed for one night in a 2 bedroom lake front apartment. The apartment had everything we needed and being able to walk straight out of the room in to the lake was amazing, and then sit out in the evening watching the sunset. The lake shore path is right outside so we were able to walk in to Taupo for something to eat with ease, perfect for a pram. really good value, we have stayed in Taupo several times in places that cost more or the same and Oasis Beach has been the best by far. so nice to be directly on to the lake. We also used the pool which was lovely and warm. A portacot was provided with comfy mattress and put up where requested for our 11month old- all staff were really helpful.

The Property is a a little dated, but all well maintained and very clean.

From the first moment we arrived were impressed by this accommodation. Easy and clear checkin process. Amazing room with 2 elements to cook meals, extremely clean, with Amazing staff who are more than happy to help you. The polls are Amazing and thermally heated. You also can use the hotel facilities next door free of charge (pool, suana, grotto plunge pool, gym, resturant). You will pay for room service there and delivered. We had a courtyard room so could walk 100m out a gate to the lake area to swim, play, watch the events on the lake. Great area for a wee picnic to plus its right onto the taupo walk path into the city cbd area and around the lake. We 100% will be staying here again infuture as will any family or friends from now on because this place is amazing and great value for money.

The only downside are that the reception closes at 5.30pm amd the call number in the paper they give you to contact the next door hotel for bookings or meals is incorrect (it 8s wake up call number) you can walk over and staff will help also gave us a different number to use. Again staff are amazing at both sites. The advertised restaurant is next door at the hotel next door- we didn't eat there but it looked amazing. You do have to book in for the spa at the resort and the plunge pool and suana next door which is okay if reception is open.

Loved loved loved the heated pool, adults and kids really enjoyed it especially in the rain. The views of the lake were spectacular. Town is a few minute drive down the road. Accommodation is relatively central to everything. Our rooms provided basic amenities which was great. Aircon was great keeping our 2 bedroom unit super toasty. Also having access to the millennium pool,spa, gym and sauna was nice to know although we never used them Will definitely come and stay again maybe this time we will book lake front room .

No laundry access on our side of the motel was a bit of a downer although the millennium provided a laundry service, it was just a bit of a fair walk away. The double beds are relatively small a queen would have been better.

central location on the lakefront, opened the ranchslider on to a patio with a pool and spa and a games room for the kids, you don’t feel overlooked by fellow guests even though directly next door and the internal patio makes it a safe place for the children to play whilst being in view the bed was soooo comfy! the room layouts are done really well and are cosy given that they are slightly old school in terms of interior design

only downside was the spa pool being too cold it was actually hotter in the pool. This made it a bit tricky as a single mum navigating the pool with 2 beginner swimmers as there was no shallow end to be able to relax a little whilst they play

Great location. Not far from the town center but far enough away to be out of the long weekend crowds Super convenient with a toddler having the pool right outside our room Bed was really comfy and aircon was great Great for a spontaneous family night away. Will definitely be back

Unfortunately the pool temperature was quite high when we checked in which wasn't great on a super hot day. Room floor was really loud when we walked. Creaked and cracked....not the best for a sleeping baby but the comfy bed made up for any minor dislikes

Great location on the lake - right near hot spring creeks. Only a few minutes walk to the local café, or a few minutes drive to pubs, shops and restaurants. Accommodation was perfectly comfortable. Beautiful watching the swans on the lake - really unbeatable location.

This hotel doesn't have it's own reception or restaurant - you have to go to the hotel next door to check in or eat in. You can't put meals on your room for this reason. It also doesn't have mini bar, just tea and coffee, so bring supplies.

Marvellous, super comfortable and stylish place. An amazing staff to deal with, always smiling and helpful. The best location possible, close to nature and a couple of minutes to the centre.

We found a spider on our bedroom curtain on the morning we were leaving the room. That was the only unexpected negative surprise that we had.
