The self check in process with nobody there on arrival was a bit daunting (we arrived around 9pm and reception closes at 7pm) We didn't have a clue where we were and it would have been nice to have somebody there to give us quick info on local bars etc.

I really liked the location of the apartment. a very quiet area with a very beautiful view of the beach. quiet at night. you can't hear the traffic through the window. you can rest very well. the apartment is well divided. the bedroom is isolated from the rest of the apartment, which is a disadvantage. the kitchen is equipped with everything necessary, and the living room is spacious

a big minus for the winter period that this apartment has is that it is not well insulated for low temperatures. in the bedroom there is a small device that heats the room. in the living room is a device that is much too small for the size of the room. The balcony door does not insulate the space well and it is very cold in the room. I don't see how you could sleep in the living room if you needed to sleep there.

The staff are amazing, friendly, helpful and as a solo traveller this really made me feel at ease. The apartment had everything I needed, very clean, excellent kitchen which is well stocked, powerful shower, comfy beds and the views are incredible! I'm not sure why people are saying it's a long walk or you need to take a taxi to get anywhere, 10 mins to walk down to the old town where there is a fully stocked supermarket. Maybe 15 mins back from there as it is uphill, a very easy walk though, and pleasant to enjoy as a stroll. The little supermarket close the the apartment had anything heavy I needed that I didn't want to carry from the downhill supermarket. I would absolutely recommend to stay here. I much prefer the off seasons, so peaceful.

Nice reasonably priced clean, traditional Portuguese style apartment. Plenty of hot water. Fresh towels after 4 days. Nice pool. Plenty of beds. Local shop nearby for basics. Fresh croissants, pastel de nada etc and coffees. There is a poolside bar.

Poolside bar wasn’t manned but the owner of the restaurant served drinks. It would be better if there was someone at the bar. I think more people would use it. The property is a good walk from the beach and old town down a hill. It’s a tough walk back in the heat. I’m glad we are fit. I did 30,000 steps quite a few days!

They provided essentials in the bathrooms, extra towels and useful kitchen essentials if we needed to cook. I like the way the provided a closed packet of cloths and sponge instead of a used one. The views were very nice and the building also had a lift. The receptionist was helpful and suggested a few places to eat. I would say the bed and living room sofa was very comfortable and the price was worth it. We were walking distance to many things and Uber was also an option.

The room needed to be open prior to us arriving so it wasn’t as stuffy. The wooden doors to open the balcony were old and needed to be refurbished as we were scared they would break. It would also be nice if they had cleaners to check if anything was needed, however it wasn’t major as they provided us what we needed when we went to reception.

LOVED that we got a package of a brand new dish sponge, dry towel, and dish cloth for our stay. It made our kitchen experience feel so much cleaner! Beautiful view with morning sun to dry our clothes, which we needed as backpackers. Lots of fresh towels, good water pressure and unlimited hot water, pullout couch was well set up, and we were the cleanest we've ever felt here. The location was great, we walked downtown and to Praia de Albufeira. Other beaches like Praia de Sao Rafael were a cheap Uber. There are 2 minimarkets only a 3 minute walk. The decor and architecture was lovely as well.

They emailed me an excessive amount of times leading up to our stay. We checked in online and provided ID online for each person, and it wasn't even necessary to do so, as we were still asked for it at the desk. Too many steps for check in, stressful for busy backpackers.

The apartment fits four people easily. Even though the beds were not the more comfortable you can find, the place was spacious and super clean. We appreciated a lot the help of Luis at the reception and that the staff was kind. We had the view of the city main roads and sea from our veranda, however the place is really quiet! If one wants to relax and find some peace this is the best place to book. It fits for couples, friends, families. Maybe from the outside the view of the old blocks makes you hesitate, however inside the apartments are cozy, tidy and they include whatever you might need.

There is no place nearby where the guests can take a proper breakfast or brunch. However this does not bring down our rate for the residence.

We stayed in the studio with a terrace option. It was modern and spacious. It was really clean and the terrace was lovely with views of the sea. The pool was nice and quiet during our visit at the start of May and it had a variation of depth that I hadn’t seen before (with part of the pool being over 3m deep!). There was a mini market literally outside of the apartment about a 20 second walk away and we managed to park our car right outside for free too. The location was fine for us as we don’t mind walking but be aware that you have to walk up hill on the way back from town. Overall the apartment exceeded our expectations and we recommend the studio option to anyone else who is thinking of staying!

The only downside would be the lack of toilet paper which is the first time I have encountered this whilst travelling. They left a note saying you can get some at the reception but the reception hours are short in general.

It was clean and spacious. I had everything I needed in the apartment. It was a really good price, it had a huge balcony, complete kitchen, a bathroom complete with toiletries and towels. The location was perfect, really quiet but only a 15 minute walk from town, ideal. I felt very safe as a young solo female traveller. I liked it so much that me and my friends have booked to come back next week! They were also super accommodating to the fact I would be arriving later than the check-in time and really put me at ease. Thank you so much.

Hotel Staff extremely friendly and helpful John and his wife Shira who run the bar/restaurant are lovely and made every time in there fun and relaxing plus they make a cracking breakfast. Pool amazing and the view from the hotel wow. Perfect location 20 minute walk to the left old town and 20 minute walk to the right is the marina . But if you've had a few to many superbocks an uber back is only four euros

Apartments pleasant and have everything you need but the decor could do with updating and the outside of the building needs a paint to refresh
