Eden Resort

We went for the all inclusive and it didn't disappoint. The food was excellent and the choice was great. The decor and the design of the resort was lovely, especially the common areas of the restaurant and lobby. The pools were great and all of the kids loved them.

The kids club was tailored more towards younger kids and our children (7 & 9) weren't too interested in taking part in most of the activities. The evening entertainment was more focused towards younger children also. Our apartment was lovely but was getting a little tired around the edges and could have done with a little maintenance. There was a serious ant infestation which would have bothered me more if we were cooking at home but because we were all inclusive it didn't bother us too much.

Eden resort was fantastic, immaculately clean ,great facilities and excellent staff ,food quality was really good with plenty of choice

Only negative was kids play pool was only open 3 hours in the week we stayed

The staff at Eden resort were amazing! We arrived around midnight on check in day and were met with dinner in our villa (helped with the cranky hungry and tired children). Staff was very knowledgeable about when it came to excursions and anything going on around the resort. Buffet was amazing as well and definitely well worth paying the all inclusive price.

This was fixed as soon as we called, but ants were coming out of the utility closet twice and that was our only problem. Very minor when it comes to the amazing hospitality. One recommendation I have is adjusting the kids club or the shuttle hours for those parents that want to drop their children off and go out into the town on the shuttle. This will take away from them having to pay for a taxi (which isn’t expensive), but would definitely benefit many parents.

Super family and kid friendly. Great pool areas. Very clean. Apartments brilliant size - very spacious. Travelled with a 1 and 2 year old. Cots, highchairs and kids plates/cups/spoons etc provided. Excellent shuttle bus to the town. Kids club staff very friendly. Little shop on site was ideal for essentials.

Food expensive and not great quality. Man at check in wasnt overly pleasant or polite. Aqua park closed for 2 days during our stay with only a few hours notice - that was disappointing.

We had a villa booked for the family, plenty of room in the villa, very clean, staff very friendly, swimming pools located really close to each other and provided fun entertainment throughout the day. Amazing splash park for kids and lots of fun activities throughout the day! The staff has been fantastic in helping to organise my son’s birthday and helped to make it special, so thank you very much!

We loved our stay, but a few minor things to improve would be the following: The mini market had very limited selection of foods, no fresh fruit or veg and the express laundry had one washing machine working and an old system that you had to buy tokens at reception. The swimming pools were great, but main pool a bit overcrowded. Food in the cafe’s a bit limited in terms of healthy choices, mainly fries, burgers and chicken nuggets. Kids club entertainers were absolutely fantastic, but the facilities of the kids club should really be upgraded to a nicer playground for kids.

On site facilities were excellent, villas were spacious and comfortable with only a short walk to pools etc. Entertainment provided for kids was better than expected.

Not much, just prices on site. You feel like you are being ripped off. As a non all inclusive guest we found the prices of food and drink on site ridiculously poor value. It was for instance much cheaper to get an Uber into town and eat at a specialist restaurant with drinks, than to eat at the buffet on the resort. The quality of the A la carte menu was really poor value as well. For non-all inclusive guests the costs are: €16 breakfast buffet €12 snack lunch €36 dinner buffet (All with house drinks included) Kids are usually 50% of the adult rate. Outside of the dining room, if you want a large beer it's €5, basic cocktail €8, draught coke €2.5.

The villa was amazing with everything we needed, the kids pool was ideal for small kids, the staff were all really friendly and helpful. The location is great, just 10 mins or less from the old town.

The kids pool doesn’t open until 11am which made no sense as it wasn’t manned by a lifeguard, lots of kids go for naps in the middle of the day plus this is when the sun is hottest so it was really annoying. Dinner doesn’t start until 6.30pm which was far too late for us so we only ate there once and went elsewhere after that. For that reason all inclusive wouldn’t be suitable for a lot of young families. The buffet was also quiet small with limited options.

Beautiful resort. So clean. Ideal for kids. We have a 6 and 3 year old. Great kids entertainment. 5 Euro for a taxi into Albuferia. I enjoyed the buzz of the old town but was glad to get back to the resort. I also enjoyed a lovely spa treatment. Apartment was cleaned every second day. We didn’t go all inclusive. There is a supermarket 5 mins walk down the hill with everything you need to cook in Villa. Definitely a cheaper alternative to Martinhal

I couldn’t fault anything but just a few little ideas for improvement - entertainment is outdoors at night. Even though it was 30 degrees during the day, it got chilly and windy at night. It would be more comfortable having the entertainment after 10 indoors. Everybody rushes to the pool in the morning to put towels on seats. It happens everywhere but there definitely could be a better system. People could leave towels on seats for 3 hours. We needed to be close to the pool to supervise the kids so often had to share one seat.

The pool was great for the kids and so close to our villa. We were very convenient for all amenities. The villa was a great size for our family. The staff were very friendly and help esp the reception team eg Miquel very helpful. The villa was kept very clean with staff calling every day. The entertainment was excellent during the day and at night.

Just the distance from old town but the ubers were cheap. Thought it was just a tad expensive for Self Catering.

Great resort for families. The aquapark pool was great for our toddler and the stair gates at the villa were much appreciated. Having the privacy/amenities of a villa with the convenience of housekeeping was perfect for us. The onsite entertainment for the kids seemed pretty good/ consistent from our limited use. The shuttle into town was quick and great for getting to the beach/restaurants.

Generally, the food options were decent enough but it would have been nice to have some healthier kid options for lunch (burgers, pizza and nuggets being the typical offering). Also the evening entertainment was quite loud but luckily didn't bother our sleeping tot!
