The location of the hotel is in the avenue where all the luxury brands are located, so I immediately felt safe and knew that I was in a prime location. I appreciated the staff who were all friendly and accommodating - a five-star hotel treatment. In the photos, the rooms looked really dated; however, it retains the charm of the hotel - being "old" yet preserved. they could remove the wallpaper to add a bit of modernity to it. the subway is a few steps away so there is always a form of transport.

I appreciate the breakfast inclusion, but staying for more than 3 nights with the same food tended to be repetitive, however, the value for money is topnotch, so this is more of a request.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights at the beginning of our trip in January 2023 and returned to the hotel for the last night before flying home. The room was smaller than expected, but comfortable and in a good location. It’s on a main street, with many posh shops and restaurants all around, and it’s not far from the old city. Rossio Square and the Santa Justa lift are maybe a 12-minute walk away. And no hills! Straight and flat all the way. Plus there’s a metro station only a block away. We found all the staff to be helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was decent: good coffee, pastries, toast and baked goods, yogurt and fruit.

Not a complaint, just a note. The hotel is on the third floor (the second floor, in Europe) and you’ll have to carry your luggage up a short flight of stairs from ground level to reach the elevator.

Excellent for city-break, located in the city center, walking distance to major sights (easy walking level), easy access with public means of transport (metro and bus stops close by), helpful and professional staff, normal room and kind of vintage looking, day cleaning and linen change provided, good pilow quality, comfy bed but a bit narrow, good value for money.

No front view on Anevida Libertade due to its building construction, attention to the elevator since it can break down and you can get stuck inside (it is a common use elevator with other building uses so no hotel's fault on that).

The breakfast was very good. We enjoyed a good meal to start our day with lots of choices every morning. Although I choose to eat mainly glutin free there was still enough choice. with the eggs, yogurt, meat, cheese and fruit. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They were quick to respond to our requests.

My only suggestion would be that the carpet in our room could be cleaned or replaced as there was a slight smell and anyone looking for a soft mattress may be unhappy. This hotel is also part of a building with buainesses on the first levels and that does not have a secure front door so people should be aware of that.

The hotel is located in the city center, very close to Bairo Alto, walking distance 10 minutes. There is access to Metro Station nearby (Avenida station), very convenient to reach fast any place in Lisbon connected by metro lines (airport, train stations, Oceanarium, Zoological Garden, etc). This is the second time I am staying here, rooms are small, but clean, towels were changed daily. Being with kids, I had another room booked for them, hotel managed to fulfil the requirement to keep them close on the same floor. Very good value for money!

The welcome at reception when I booked in was warm, although I did have to stand around and wait for the receptionist to carry on a lengthy conversation with another guest first. But I was made to feel very welcome, and on returning later after having been out for supper, I was engaged in conversation. The location could not be faulted, on the Avenida and so easy to access downtown Lisbon. It feels safe at night as it is busy with people out and about. My room had a lovely view down onto the tree lined avenue.

When I booked this initially it was not apparent that the hotel was a couple of floors up in one of those lovely old city buildings. I had got the impression from the photos that it was a walk-in off the street. So, I found it rather jaded and perhaps a bit pricey for the room. However, it is Lisbon city centre, so I am realistic enough to acknowledge the price range in that area. The bathroom was also tired and had restricted space. Despite these niggles, the room was comfortable, with traditional Portuguese furniture and the staff really helpful. You will find more modern places, certainly, but the location is brilliant, and the atmosphere of the old building made up for the rest.

Very good place and central position, easy to walk to the city, close to several metro lines. Staff was very helpful and friendly, rooms reasonably comfy (actually better than anticipated from the pictures). The breakfast was a bit underwhelming however, but this might come with regional expectations (we are used to pretty big savory breakfasts). Still, I would say that for 10 euros, you can find a better deal in nearby cafes. Happy with all the rest, would definitely recommend.

Location: On Liberty Avenue which is the best street in Lisbon in my personal opinion. Metro is just 1-2 mins away as well as some bus stops. There are many types of restaurants nearby, both high end and more affordable ones. Many attractions are accessible on foot if you don’t mind walking at all. Staff: Friendly and helpful. They helped print documents which I needed for airline check in.

Kettle: No kettle in the room and they have none for you to borrow. Though the kitchen could provide you with a glass of hot water, I needed more and therefore didn’t want to bother them all the time. Bathroom: Quite small, so I couldn’t open it fully. Also body & hair gel in small plastic bags didn’t give me a good feeling. Breakfast: Too basic to me

Hotel staff is very friendly and are eqger to help the guests in any way possible. Location of the hotel is superb. Bus and metro station withim 200 m walking distance of the hotel. You can walk to most of the Lisbon atractions, they are situated within 30 min of walking from the hotel, some are only 10 minutes away. Very well connected to all of the lisbon via public transport.

Rooms are definitely dated, but that's the reason price is much better thqn every other hotel located in the same area. Still, everything is aa expected and shown on photos. Rooms are a bit tiny and cramped. Not much closet space. Only real issue was Wi-fi connection. Some days it was for some reason impossible to connect to their wi fi, probably was overloaded.

Great location at the city center. Gorgeous Avenida de Liberdade - one love ❤️. 1 min to the subway station. Easy to commute to the airport and Lisbon neighborhoods. If you love to walk and want to see Lisbon’s streets, there are tons of them. You can get to any well known location just by walking 20-30 minutes. Very friendly and caring personnel.

It would be good to update a little bit the renovation of the rooms
