Staff were really helpful and friendly. It is very well run.

My room was bland even with the James Dean picture. 😅 Would have liked a kettle to make tea.

Loved having breakfast available in the mornings. Just wish the coffee machine was available all day. The hotel is convenient for accessing the Central areas. The soundproofing was great for sleeping. Loved the shower size and the "rain shower head". We stayed in Porto for 6 nights on our way home to Canada. The location was easily walkable however there is major road work being done in the area so not as easy to navigate the area for newbies. Make sure you have a map.

Lacking in comfort as there is no refrigerator and no coffee maker in the room. It was cool at night and a second blanket for warmth would have been nice.

Great value and is well situated for the city sights. There are many good restaurants and Tapas bars within easy walking distance.

They offer affordable secure parking but it is a bit of a challenge, as access is down a narrow steep ramp at the side of the Hotel. We parked up and only used the car when we left after our 4-day stay. ( BTH This was our intention at the outset) Driving in Porto is not recommended at this time as there are major construction activities going on for the new underground metro network. It would have been nice if the Hotel had provided directions to the underground parking garage with our confirmation as the Hotel is in a pedestrian area and it is not immediately clear how to access the garage.

Very clean, and the personnel was quite helpful, I was worried about so many negative comments about the breakfast selection, but I can say that there was plenty to choose from (fruits and sweets and yogurts) and good coffee, and the top thing was the fresh orange juice machine which was a first and a surprise. Towels and soap in the bathroom and the windows can be opened on the first floor. There is also a bottle that can be refilled with drinkable water from the machine next to elevator.

There was some issue with charging my phone, sometimes the power supply is not the best.

Fantastic location in terms of exploring the city historical center. (Everything is uphill or downhill in Porto so be prepared for that.) Abundant good restaurants nearby. Room was clean and quiet with window on interior courtyard, bed was very comfy. The indoor parking is very clean, well-lit and secure and accessible by lift to hotel. Breakfast had good variety and the breakfast serving staff worked hard to keep tabletops clean between guests and to refresh the buffet. Breakfast room light and airy. Front desk staff excellent. Wi-fi good.

This was a very pleasant stay. Just a heads up for those arriving by car, it is a limited access street and you will feel like you aren't supposed to be driving down it to get to hotel reception. Also very tight maneuvering to get into the underground parking.

The hotel was much better than expected for a 2 star hotel! It is situated in the old part of Porto very close to the city center, metro stations (10 min walking) train station Sao Bento (10 min walking) and shopping street with many cafes and shops (2 min walking). Staff was polite and answered all the questions I had. The room was clean and nice, bed was very comfortable and there was no noise from outside. I had really good sleep and rest. Toiletries were provided in the bathroom. All in all, I was very happy with my stay and recommend to all travelers to Porto!

The only thing I wish was better was the breakfast. The choices were a bit limited. There was a selection of bread and sweet pastry, but ham and cheese selection as well as cereal and salad was very limited.

The central location was great to walk around.Very close to many restaurants and points of interest. Comfortable beds and good shower.Several plugs around the room made easier to charge electronics. The breakfast was very nice and even if there were not hot options ,the orange juice was by far the best of our trip. Staff very nice and they saved our luggage after check out.

Really hard to reach the front of the hotel by car if you are not a local.We have to jump the curve to get in and out.Parking was several blocks away on inclined streets. Rooms in the small side and the TV was a joke. Probably 14 inches, hanging in the wall like a little out of place picture frame.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming on my arrival. Coded entry for bedroom is brilliant. Location was great for the needs of my visit. Impeccable cleanliness.

The bed left me slightly stiff in the mornings, I already have back problems so this wasn't very helpful. And the pillows could have been thicker. Bathroom was nice, however the door did not seem to be very watertight, as there was always a large amount of water that had pooled on the floor meaning I had to use the hand towels to soak it up.

Liked · Nice clean room right in the center of the historic district facing the gorgeously tiled Church of Saint Ildefonso. Room was really small, but bed was comfy. Private bath with elevator. Breakfast was included in our rate and was quite good (although did not vary over the days there. Very sparse furniture but did have a small desk with 1 chair in room. Air conditioner did not work, but opened window served. Nice bathroom and shower stall. Tons of good restaurants and shopping around it centrally located to a lot of top sites.

Would have been nice to have more seating and real drawers, but a minor issue
