Boutique Hotel H10 Montcada

another excellent stay at this small boutique hotel. the location is absolutely brilliant - central to the port area, Born district, the Gothic Quarter and Placa Catalunya. we were able to walk to all major sites from the hotel including the sagrada familia and park Guell. The rooftop bar has a nice atmosphere for subset drinks with spectacular views,

Breakfast can be found much cheaper in the local cafes and there is always a bit of noise in the evenings from the nearby streets.

Amazing stay at H10, Stayed in Junior Suite which came with walk in wardrobe, HUGE comfy bed, loads of pillows, big bath with jets, bath robes, lovely big windows. Free coffee & water. Has mini refrigerator, no kettle. Quiet room 809 ! The hotel location is so central 15 min walk to harbour, 10 min walk to la ramblas, Taxis you can get anywhere straight away download Free Now Taxi App just in case. Best breakfast is at The Benedict Restaurant 5 mins walk. €30 in a cab to the airport. Staff were amazing & so friendly, free welcome drink on arrival of Cava. Rooftop bar is lovely, hot tub on the roof deck but it's very small. The hotel kindly sorted & booked our COVID Antigen tests to get us back into England. I couldn't rate this hotel enough, staff, location, standard of the hotel and rooms was brilliant.  10/10 from us

The location of the hotel was fabulous. Situated in the Gothic Quarter with views of the Cathedral from our room. Also just over the road from the metro although all the major sights were within walking distance. Loved the rooftop terrace. The views of the city are fabulous from here as you can see the Marina and Sagrada Família as well as the Cathedral. Beautiful spot to watch the sunset. Rooftop jacuzzi great after a day of sightseeing! Rooms very clean and comfortable. Great coffee machine in room, daily complimentary water and Rituals toiletries. Rooms very quiet and peaceful despite being so central and busy. Staff very friendly. The glass of cava on arrival was a nice touch too.

It is charming without making one feel out of place. the location is perfect and walking distance to night and day times activities and venues. The hotel staff are warm and welcoming. They do their best to accommodate requests and have a terrific attitude in the process. The made us feel at home. The rooftop has a beautiful sunset view and is a nice place to unwind from the day at a table or in the hot tub. The lobby is as pictured and is both inviting and comfortable to lounge or enjoy a drink from the bar. Although we did not eat breakfast at the hotel they have a large dining area downstairs with an extensive breakfast buffet that served the majority of their guests. I highly recommend this hotel and will return for a future visit.

The elevator is a bit slow.

All staff at the hotel were super attentive and welcoming. They went the extra mile to ensure we had the best experience possible. We were provided with lots of additional toiletries and our room was beautiful and spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the rooftop bar each night and the staff working here were so friendly and knowledgeable. To top of all off, before arriving at the hotel, I mentioned we were celebrating my partner’s birthday. We were greeted in our hotel room with complimentary champagne, chocolates and fruit - such a special touch!

Couldn’t fault our experience - we have already recommended this hotel to all our family and friends!

Terrace on the roof top with amazing city view (one of highlights of my trip, really), great location in the old town with metro access, coffee machine in the room, shower gel etc. from Rituals, nice smell in the lobby :)

The hotel is just above metro line so you can feel the train movement every time (vibration, a bit of noise etc.). Not very good sound proofing, I heard my loud neighbours very well, our doors were very close so when they slammed it my whole room shook. Basic room is not very comfortable: no day light (window facing hotel interior), access to wardrobe is blocked by the table (not convenient), no full size mirror, no proper place to put the luggage (my suitcase had to be on the floor the whole time, good it was cabin size only). I rated 8 because of location and terrace only.

Nice welcome touch with a glass of Cava on arrival. Breakfast was great, good choice of fruit, yogurt, cereal, breads, pastries and cooked food. Juice and warm croissants brought to the table every morning, then help yourself to the rest. Room not huge but quite adequate for two people. Bathroom was spotless and there was a little bag provided with Toothbrushes, toothpaste, razor and shaving cream which was great if you’d forgotten to pack them. Fabulous shower. Lovely rooftop terrace with a hot tub, loungers and a bar. Hotel is in an excellent location for getting around the city.

Only minor thing that could be better was if tea and coffee was served to you at the breakfast table.

amazing location in the heart of the gothic quarter. metro station across the street, 10-minute walk to the beach. rooftop deck was a stunning way to really take in the views of this beautiful city. well-appointed rooms with nespresso machine and robes/slippers and extremely clean. staff was super helpful from day trip travel bookings to helping to locate a specific item requested by a client. so easy to go out, see a few things (museums, markets, cathedrals, meals) and pop back in to drop things off or regroup. practically everything we did was a 10 minute walk or metro ride away. this hotel has a number of locations in Barcelona but each has it’s own unique design and vibe, didn’t feel like a chain at all, until you realized how nice all the extras were that tiny hotels never have. at check-in they noticed my son’s birthday was during our stay and sent a tray up to the room with a pastry, a birthday card and some apricot juice! would absolutely recommend any of the H10 hotels :)

Perfect location. Lovely Hotel.... our first time in an H10 ...and we will definitely return! Staff very welcoming polite, courteous and excellent. Sonia particularly kind and helpful giving us maps, explaining where to go and also, offering help for our onwards journey ...she went above and beyond helping us with suggestions for the next stage of our Journey eg trains and places to eat. Thank you Sonia 😊 We travel a lot, and stay in a variety of places, H10 Barcelona made us feel, valued and special. Staff like Sonia are an absolute bonus to large companies ...many of which have lost their personal touch. Well done everyone, we had a great stay.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

I loved the location and the rooftop! The hotel itself was really cute and the staff was very nice.

I was disappointed that the "jacuzzi" was luke warm rather than hot. I don't think a hot tub should be advertised as an amenity if it is that cold.
