- The location is great. It is in the centre of the old town and very convenient to walk around - The room was clean and with all the amenities necessary - Absolutely loved the roof terrace and the menu and cocktails. Awesome staff in the terrace and everything was delicious

- The Breakfast was below average. Firstly, the way the food in the buffet is positioned makes no sense. Instead of having the different groups of food together, they are spread around. - The staff at the Breakfast were all arrogant and quite passive aggressive. We stayed 2 nights and the experience was consistent. They were rudely indicating what you can find in the buffet and if you were to ask something tweaked in your egg plate would abruptly stop you and say No. - The cleaners start at 8am cleaning the rooms basically waking you up! Definitely there is a need for the hotel to be careful on this as you cannot have the guests woke up by the hotel staff.

A great location in the centre of Barcelona. Nice clean room. Always cleaned by the time we returned from breakfast. Friendly, helpful and attentive staff at all times. Service with a smile! Breakfast was fab!

Nothing we didn’t like apart from a rude guest who didn’t approve of of our three, very well behaved and polite teenage daughters chatting together at the far end of the pool for thirty minutes on the day we arrived. Thankfully, we didn’t come across that lady again. Obviously, the hotel is not accountable for the unnecessary rudeness of the guests. This did upset us at the time but sometimes you have to rise above these things.

The front desk, cleaning, hospitality breakfast and rooftop service staff were exceptional. Genuinely friendly and helpful. The room was clean, modern, and had everything needed for comfort. Location couldn't have been better in the Gothic Quarter. Easy walk to the beach and all other main attractions in Barcelona. Breakfast was the best. Hot dishes to order in conjunction with a complete buffet of self serve choices. Rooftop pool was heated with plenty of loungers and other seating arrangements.

I can't find one thing that could have made our stay more enjoyable. It hit all the important elements of a great stay. To say something contrary would be extreme.

It is an amazing place with everything you need on the spot. Location is exceptional - next to the Gothic quarter, close to La Rambla, 20 minutes walk to the sea. Really close to public transport (like 4-5 minutes walk). The room was very well designed, be was super-comfortable. You can choose the pillow you sleep on, they give you different options. Rain shower stole my heart :) The street next to the hotel is pretty busy but the windows are soundproof and we did not have any disturbing noises. Heated swimming pool on the rooftop with an amazing view just adds several points to the experience. The terrace itself is very beautiful. cocktails are well-done. The stuff is super friendly and professional. Everyone we met was smiling and ready to help. The managers were very kind and let us to check-in 4 hours earlier. I really appreciate it. And of course surprise for my birthday. It was very touching. Breakfast worth every penny: tapas, choice of meals they cook for you, kava and fresh juice - perfect. The hotel definitely exceeded my expectation. Definitely will come back.

Internet sometimes was slow. It is probably one thing I can mention. Everything else was just perfect.

Wonderful hotel in the middle of it all in the Gothic Quarter. In terms of location - yes, it is busy and touristy but it was great to be in the middle of it all and there are some less well-traveled restaurants and spots within walking distance. It's also easy to walk to the Picasso Museum (< 10 minutes), the Mercat De La Boqueria (< 10 min), Sagrada Familia (about 1.3 miles) and to the beach (about a mile) and we only took one taxi our entire stay (to Park Guell), which speaks to how central it is! The hotel itself was spotless, excellent cleaning staff, wonderful rooftop terrace with pool, and delicious breakfast with the nicest people serving. Overall, the staff are welcoming and were very helpful on our arrival in getting us settled in and providing an initial dinner recommendation; they were also excellent arranging taxi transport to the train station on a very busy morning.

Really great I have to say. The property is very new,bright and clean. The best thing is that every facility is big which makes us feel very comfortable and also let the room look wider than 22m2. Additionally the location is brilliant just beside the cathedral with a wonderful view. Final but not least, the stuffs are very good at English which is enough to communicate. besides their attitude is so nice and always responsible to help us solve the problems. I feel really grateful about that. If I come to Barcelona again I would choose this hotel again.

The elevator is slow for one is not working now.

Fantastic location, nice friendly staff, complementary drinks in the reception foyer, very clean and modern rooms, beds comfortable, rooftop pool and bar area is nice but get there early because the pool gets busy with kids jumping around and playing. Pool is smaller than pictures but that’s expected in Barcelona city. The views are nice from the rooftop. Would stay again.

Need a choice for a room with balcony. I chose the same room as my friends, they got a balcony but I didn’t. Same room prices but different sizes too. We had 3 rooms so I could see the difference. Too many kids screaming and splashing in the pool with pool toys and balls which probably should be banned in a pool this size.

The staff were outstanding and bilingual in English. The cleanliness was second to none and the rooftop pool and bar were excellent. We loved the views of the Cathedral in the background and it was a nice way to unwind after a long flight across the ocean. The hotel is within easy walking distance to several attractions and restaurants--- we had some awesome paella not far from the hotel. On our departure morning when it was time to go to the cruise port, the hotel easily arranged for a taxi and the staff even helped load our bags. Also, the beds were incredibly comfortable and the rain forest showerhead was superb! Definitely try the carrot juice at breakfast!

The hotel was a little on the pricey side however I do believe one gets what they pay for and in regards to this hotel, the value relative to the money spent was decent and I have no real complaints. They brought us extra towels at 11pm without any hesitation--- thank you!

Room was beautiful. Nice view of the Cathedral. Breakfast had a wide assortment to choose. Though bacon and omelet were undercooked. Rooftop bar/pool is lovely and scenic. Hotel accommodated our request for a king bed and view.

Not enough staff at the rooftop bar or the front desk. We checked out early in the am. I was supposed to be emailed our room bill and have asked the hotel 2x for it and still do not have it. Our stay included breakfast. We could not use the breakfast on our second day. A picnic was offered but we could not use that on our way to the airport in the early am. Asked for lunch up on the rooftop or something equal - they wouldn't accommodate. They were to ask Booking.com for a refund, still waiting....

My son was very very ill with bronchitis / pneumonia and H-10 staff were very kind to him. We asked for a concierge dr to come visit him and he recommended my son go to hospital. This dr saved my son’s life in a way!!!! Thank you front desk overnight staff… you were simply incredible! One sweet fellow truly saved the day and retrieved my son’s items from his room and held for us for 2 days. I cannot recall his name but when I do, I will send a letter to the hotel uplifting him for his outstanding service…😊💯 Thank you again, H10 Madison. You are truly amazing. Highly recommend to all!
