Very close to everything. Great welcoming and helpful staff. So, so clean. Everything in working order. Beds were comfortable. Great shower with strong water pressure. Decent sized room. Nice touches like the cassava drink with snacks at the front desk, coffee and pastries in the afternoon. Decent breakfast with three types of eggs and bacon offered each morning (if you pay to include it). Different types of juices and pastries with variety of coffees and teas. We just loved everything about this hotel.

No dislikes I can think of. One of the most perfect hotels I have ever stayed at outside of the USA.

Fantastic hotel in a central, easily accessible location. Hotel is just off La Ramblas and in Gothic area..few minutes walk to sights, lively sounds, loads of eateries and transport close by. The staff were so lovely and helpful, especially at Reception and Grace (housekeeping). They were all sweet in acknowledging my birthday, thank you! We had a lovely twin room on the 2nd floor with quaint balcony overlooking the street. Room was kept clean and replenished with essentials, as needed. We had no problems with noise and actually like the background sounds of city life..was definitely not overbearing. We had no problems with noise from other guests and the one night where a small group returned in the early hours and were a little merry, it was over quite quickly once they entered their room and sleep resumed peaceably!

The air-con system was a little fiddly for me.

The breakfast was good including fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries and cereals. There was a hot food option (eggs and bacon only) but the scrambled eggs were very good. The staff were friendly and professional and very welcoming. Good and convenient location as well so very easy for us to get around the city. It was great to have a safe in the room and a fridge for our water. The AC worked very well too so we had control over the temperature of the room.

This is only minor but you could hear people outside your room in the hall very easily and we could hear another rooms toilet when it was flushed at times but either way we slept very well and couldn't hear any noise from the street even if there was any.

A hotel that achieves above standards. The reception staff were very friendly and so helpful, booking tours and ordering taxis. Plus the welcome drinks and complimentary water, tea, coffee and pastries near the breakfast room were a bonus. We were given a small kettle to use in our room as well. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Excellent toiletries in the bathroom and a plug near the hairdryer was good planning plus housekeeping was very efficient and thorough. The breakfast choices were varied and they cook an omelette fresh for you. The staff here were also friendly and very pleasant. We were very impressed over all.

I would suggest installing a usb point be added to some plugs in the room to improve facilities. There was a strange plastic mattress protector which meant the bottom sheet never stayed in place and crumpled up a lot. The taxi from the airport had a bit of trouble finding the hotel as it is tucked away in the Gotic Barrio. But this is a wonderful place to be Centred in Barcelona.

The room was clean and comfortable. Had a safe and amenities in the bathroom. Great spot within walking distance to almost everything. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was bigger than I expected and did enjoy having one at the rear of the building.

The first few nights no one stayed above me but then someone was on the 4th floor. They were a bit noisy and I could hear their toilet flush. No kettle in the room which was a shame but they did offer coffee and tea after 12.

Great place to stay in the heart of the Gothic Quarter close to the Cathedral. It was easy to get to anywhere from here. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a lovely little balcony that we could stand out on. Breakfast was continental with the option of eggs cooked to your liking. I am gluten and dairy free and they were very accommodating for that.

The hotel is in a pedestrianised area which means you can't get dropped off at or picked up from the door. it wasn't an issue for us but if you had lots of luggage it could be.

On arrival we had a lovely offer of cava (although we declined as we were knackered), but enjoyed some complimentary tea and coffee near their bar area. The staff are friendly They have a lovely outdoor seating area which we sadly didn't have time to use due to the busy schedule, but we really enjoyed the large and bright space of the hotel. There's a lift if you're unable to go up the stairs (which were beautiful). The location was amazing! You can walk everywhere and it's so close to the Boqueria market and many top attraction points. The triple room was extremely spacious and the balcony lets in a lot of light. The bathroom was also big with a walk in shower and two sinks - plenty for 3 people.

The sound carries so if you're a light sleeper then bring earplugs! The weekend was much more noisy both from our hotel neighbours and from the streets, but the weekdays are much more quiet. We arrived a bit early but checked in while the room was being cleaned and was told they'd let us know when the room was ready. This was not a problem in itself but perhaps due to communication barriers, nobody came to tell us for an hour and when we checked they assumed we'd gone to our room already and asked if we needed anything else (we hadn't even received our room keys or been told it was ready!!). A few other errors were made but quickly resolved once we alerted them of it.

From the minute we checked in the staff took care of our needs and questions. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. The toiletries were a step above the usual, with soap big enough to actually use. The cleaning staff cleaned the room as soon as we would leave to go out and explore and the room would be in perfect order when we returned. The breakfast was good, especially the freshly cooked scrambled eggs when you ordered them.The atrium was relaxing, but Barcelona was a bit too hot to take full advantage of it. The balcony we had was on a low floor which put us right in the action of the street. (The people never see to sleep in Spain because they are out having fun.) The height of the ceiling makes the room seem bigger, which is nice. I would stay here again both for location, comfort, cleanliness, and service.

Earlier check-in times would help, but that goes for everywhere nowadays.

Hotel was in great location for restaurants, shops, 5 mins from Las Ramblas, the Mercat de la Boqueria (amazing food market) and close to main attractions. Just what you need when your first arrive in Barcelona!

Would like to have had the option to make our own tea and coffee (especially important for overseas travellers adjusting to time difference). There was a machine that was supposed to be available but it was never switched on when we wanted it.

Perfect location, very helpful and kind staff, exeptionally clean rooms. They provide wide range of toileteries e.g. toothpaste and brush, body lotion, razor, etc. Nice room athmosphere. Welcome champagne, early check-in. We could leave our baggage on the day of checkout.

The door of the room is not soundproof, we could hear everyone speaking on the corridor.
