Hotel Acta Azul Barcelona

stayed for a few nights. definitely was a good choice. the location is unbreakable, near metro and espanza plaza with a lot of local reataurants and supermarkets (convenient store) nearby. convenient to everywhere. room size is big with a simple kitchen and dining table which is very suitable for tourist with kids.

the key of safety box and electronic kettle were only provided upon request which is a bit strange to me but the reception staff were very welcom to give you those things when you asked. the hotel building is close to a main road. u will hear some traffic noise in room at night but also, didnt affect much to me and my kids.

It is a nice hotel for comfortable sleeping in a good location. Metro lines, airbus stop and Montserrat train station just a few steps away. Room windows open to a quiet sidestreet. Room was spacious and clean, staff was friendly and helpful.

Our room was nice and clean, but the floor cover was visibly in a bad condition. Breakfast was good, but management should allocate more staff to attend it. In such a big hotel 1 person can not manage with cleaning the tables and restocking the trays at once despite the best efforts - I think in other similar sized hotels it would be the work for 2-3 persons.

The location was the main consideration for my wife and me in choosing this hotel. Plaça d’Espanya being within walking distance of Parc de Monjuïc, and with the train to Montserrat also being conveniently near. We didn’t buy breakfast as we preferred to use the numerous cafés near the hotel, though it does seem to be good value. The hotel fulfilled our expectations and we will consider booking again if the price is competitive next time we visit Barçelona, which we do quite frequently.

We have no complaints.

The hotel is in a good location (close to the subway station). it has shops and restaurants around. The hotel staff is very friendly, polite and professional. They treat their guests well and do their job perfectly. We were impressed with the reception staff and the cleaning and kitchen staff as well.

It wasn’t really bad, just that the pictures look way better than the reality. The apartment is way older (the walls are a bit dirty) and the beds are cheap and uncomfortable. However, they clean everything daily, they change beds and towels and everything is clean.

Close to the train station, smooth check-in process, large rooms, nice shower and good cleanliness.

The AC only heated up the room, even when the switch was on “cool”. Also, a “Don’t disturb” sign was ignored by the cleaning staff. I was outside at that moment but still the sign should be respected. Also would be nice to keep things sustainable and only replace dirty towels on the floor like in many other places, not everything. I’m also not a fan of having to enter all your data for a third party service online, everything could do with way less personal information.

it was very close to Plaça d'Espanya, just a short walk. And right across from a very good breakfast place. The staff was very accommodating and got our very diverse group of people checked in with ease.

Nothing comes to mind! We had a good laugh at one day receiving a towel too little and the next day receiving an extra towel. But that wasn’t something we didn’t like! it would have been easily solved my asking for an extra from the nice staff. :)

The hotel is in a good location, although a bit away from the city center (about an hour's walk from La Rambla). We liked the apartment and it was suitable for our family of five (two adults and three children). It had a refrigerator and microwave, as well as utensils. They cleaned it daily. The free wi-fi was good and the reception staff was very friendly.

Our only complaint is from the parking lot - just awful! Narrow, steep, suitable only for small cars and, even with such, the driver must be good enough to be able to get in or out of it. As a matter of fact, at the reception we were offered to use another parking lot near the hotel, a little more expensive, but we decided to use the parking lot of the hotel to make it easier for us to carry our luggage. Big mistake - as soon as we entered, the parking lot terrified us so much that we did not dare to drive the car out almost to the end of our stay. If you have a car and want to use it while staying at this hotel, I recommend that you choose another car parking, outside the hotel, no matter how far away.

Room was fantastic, but was next to the Gym, could hear the thud of the running machine and weights, other than that everything was good. Staff was very helpfull and showed us points of interest for our stay. Location is fantastic, a short walk away for the metro and busses.

I know this is impossible because of the location, but parking up to check in and get luggage out is non-existent. Everything else was great.

My friends and I spent 4 nights at Acta Azul Hotel, we had room with 4 beds and a lot of space for 4 of us. Location of the hotel is PERFECT! 2 minutes from Placa España where you have bus stations, metro station that can take you wherever you want in Barcelona. We recommend buying 72h ticket for 23€ which allow you ♾️ rides with any transportation sistem in Barcelona. Breakfast was great as well, fresh and tasty, and you can eat as much as you can haha. I don't think I have any complain about hotel or staff!

great location just a short walk from plaza Espana. the desk clerk provided luggage storage prior to the room being available and remembered us when we returned several hours later.

the AC in our room didn’t seem to be working properly. we had someone come up to see if we had set it wrong, and it was better after, but never got really cool in the room.
