Lovely room. I picked it as it had a balcony overlooking a park. Loved that there was a large shopping centre/supermarket nearby in the old bull ring. Great to have a fridge in the room. It was kept really clean. location was great for metro and bus connections. Explore the back streets - there's a really interesting side to Espanya. Helpful, friendly staff.

I was surprised that I had to pay a 20 euro deposit to borrow a kettle! I think the hotel would be extremely noisy if there were more people staying. Luckily it was v quiet in March, but one morning, I could hear the person above walking around their room, opening the patio door and it was really loud.

Best feature of the hotel is location, safe and very communicative place with mall (10m) and metro, bus and Airport bus station in 50m proximity. There are restaurants close by and a park just around the corner. One of the biggest sightseeing places are also around the corner (Museum of Catalonian Art located in a Palace and Magic singing fountains in front of it, not working currently. We arrived earlier than official check in and staff took our baggage so we do not stroll around with suitcase till 14.00h.

It was a nice hotel with a great location. Friendly staff and they provided us with a local map. I will stay there my next visit also.

Maybe there could have been a painting om the wall? To make it look more inviting. But everything was great.

Onix fira was amazing, unfortunately our flight was delayed and we didn’t arrive until 2am the hotel was very accomodating to this and helped us with a smooth and quick check in! The next morning they arranged a doctor for one of us who was sick and were so helpful to us! the rooms was pretty nice as well, the breakfast looked good but we never got around to it. The location was really good as it was a very short metro or taxi to the city centre and gothic quarter.

The location was excellent and the massive mall next door (which also had a large supermarket) was handy to do all my last minute shopping. I also liked that the room had body pillows instead of regular ones.

I was disappointed that the hotel was unable to provide a complimentary late check-out. Three hours would have cost me 35€ Although I requested a quiet room, I was assigned one that faced the mall next door. My stay included a Friday night and the second floor of the mall had a dance club which played loud, pumping music and had very noisy patrons from about 9pm to BEYOND 2am! The hotel should be more conscientious about making sure guests who ask for a quiet room are not given rooms that face the mall over the weekend. It should also properly sound-proof these rooms, and warn guests assigned to these rooms about very late night noise on the weekend.

Great location right next to tube intersection. Close to Fira Europa. Restaurants just outside the front door - plenty of variety. Park across the road for a stroll.

Not much - could do with a place for taxis to pull up outside. It is a good value hotel, so I get what I expect and am happy with that. The cafe on the corner which does the nice breakfast, it could open at 8 a.m. and that would be better. But hey...

Spacious and clean room and bathroom, little balcony. Big comfortable double bed. Good location, near the subway station, many buses, incl. D40 direct to Park Guel, A1, A2 and Line 46 direct to the airport. Good cafes and local supermarkets nearby. We recommend "Tartela" for breakfast, 20 meters from the hotel. The staff were polite and helpful. We arrived few hours before the check-in time, but our room was free and they let us in. Also, there is a luggage room and we used it after the check out.

The biggest disadvantage are the thin walls, you can hear the neighbors in the close rooms and in the corridor. You cannot close the door without noise. Only one electrical socket near the bed. For the four nights we stayed, we had only one little soap for washing our hands, though there was also enough shower gel. We didn't have toilet brush because of some stupid Covid 19 restrictions.

Is very nice located,in the pl España, close to the metro station, restaurants, easy to get everywhere Every day the room was cleaned,beds were made, towels refreshed.

We had a bad experience with the first b&b we booked,and fast forward we took this hotel. We were with a kid of 9 years old, we asked for a room with big bed.. But the receptionist said that we need to take one with 3 beds,the price got higher then the one we booked via booking.com. Also no breakfast was included

Check in was a breeze, location is perfect, right next to Plaza d'Espana, breakfast is a buffet style and well worth the 11 euro, staff were super friendly and very helpful with booking a early morning taxi to the airport,
