Hotel Garbi Millenni

Friendly welcoming team, from Reception through breakfast to housekeeping. Great recommendations for places to eat. Rooms are basically furnished and not huge but clean, comfortable and quiet - we were on 3rd floor street side and windows sufficiently insulated to block out all outside noise. Situated between Eixample and Gothic quarter, short walk from riverside, 2 mins to metro with funicular to Montjuic and couple of stops to the train station. 10 min walk from the airport shuttle bus. Would definitely recommend.

Nothing negative. People may think it's expensive for such a basic room but in comparison to other places and taking account of the positives it's on a par.

Great location close to most amenities. Room was of a very good standard although more of a 3star standard rather than as listed. BFast and reception team were great.

Gymnasium, size of room.

Beautifully presented, the room was a good size with a great view down to the Avenida Paral.lel, comfortable beds, plenty of storage, generous bathroom, all spotlessly clean. Although in a busy spot, with the windows closed it was quiet enough. Plentiful breakfast in a smart, well-designed room. Pleasant and helpful staff on reception and in the breakfast area. Excellent location, just two minutes from Paral.lel metro stop, a short walk from La Rambla and the seafront.

Wasn't too keen on either of the coffee machines at breakfast, though a good selection of juices made up for it partly.

Very welcoming and helpful first impression from Eduardo on reception. All the reception staff were polite and friendly. We were allocated a " quiet" room at the back of the hotel which I had requested and was very pleased with. Comfy bed, great bathroom...(a bit dated decor wise maybe) excellent shower, great lighting and lots of room! The room was larger than expected. We were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. After reading some quite negative reviews we were not sure what to expect but I would not hesitate to return !

Noisy, inconsiderate guests on the corridor sometimes. It can happen in any hotel! Walls maybe a bit thin but if guests were considerate it wouldn't be an issue!

Very nice hotel with amazing staff. We were upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi. Room was clean, beds super comfortable, and once again staff was very nice and could answer all the questions we had. Location wise, you are very close to the metro station Parallel which is 1-2 stops away from La Rambla. There are a few touristy bars and tapas restaurants nearby.

Our room didn't really have any view from the window we had. If you opened it, you could see into all the other hotel rooms. The area, while close to Plaça de Catalunya with the metro, is quite "rough". Shady stuff happens during nighttime, so be careful when going out at night.

Great location, room and front desk staff. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was close to the harbour and to La Rambla. My husband and I enjoy walking and found it easy to make our way around Barcelona, from the hotel to the places we wanted to visit.

I attempted to book directly with the hotel which is my preference. However, the hotel was fully booked for the dates required. The fellow at the front desk suggested booking through Booking.com and I was able to secure the room that way but always prefer to deal directly with the hotel.

Our stay at Garbi Milleni was really enjoyable. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, allowing us to check in an hour early and holding our bags until check in time so we could explore the city. They also sorted out a taxi for us on our last day and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the hotel was remarkably quiet despite being situated on a busy street. Breakfast was expansive with lots of options and was very good value. We would definitely stay here again!

Very good location in Barcelona, close to the transportation, the staff were super nice and very helpful, the breakfast was also very varied and good selection

The rooftop garden is quite a small area but not a major issue as you spend all day outside sightseeing and not sunbathing on a roof in Barcelona

We know this area of Barcelona well and it's really the best area to stay. Our first time in this hotel and we were thrilled with everything about it. It was perfectly situated, the staff were delightful and the hotel was clean with comfortable bedrooms. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Barcelona. The hotel doesn't have a car park but they recommend a secure public car park which is close by. My husband loved the spa (sauna & jacuzzi).

Inflexible 3pm check-in but there was a room where we could leave our bags.

The room was a decent size and the hotel is well-located - 10 minutes away from La Rambla and 15 from the Gothic Quarter. There is a metro station a few minutes away from the hotel too, which is on two lines, as well as plenty of bars and restaurants within a five minute walk. The staff are extremely friendly - always willing to help, with great recommendations. The hotel room had everything you needed for a few nights away - a fridge, safe, soap, hand wash and air con. The jacuzzi on the rooftop was a fantastic addition, which you don't find in many hotels of this price point. We spent a couple of afternoons there - just wish it was open later!

There was a slight smell when you walked into the hotel room - guessing it was the air con. However, within a few seconds, you'd gotten used to it and forgotten about it. The jacuzzi could do with a little clean too, although that didn't stop us.
