Hotel Nuevo Triunfo

We must say that your hotel is situated in a great location, which made it very easy for us to explore the city and visit all the popular attractions. The famous La Rambla and Montjuic were only 15 minutes away by walk. What impressed us the most was your staff. They were incredibly kind, welcoming and always willing to assist with any queries we had. It made us feel at home right from the moment we checked in. My room was clean, and it was evident that your staff put in a lot of effort to maintain high levels of hygiene.

We must point out that the walls were not well-insulated, which made it possible to hear a lot of noise from the toilet above. Also were we able to listen to the conversations through our vent leading to the shower of our neighbour. Furthermore, we felt that the room could benefit from a carpet, as the floors were quite cold.

The hotel was extremely clean. Room had all amenities. The blanket was beautiful. Smooth check in and check out process.

There was no full size mirror in the room. The only mirror was a small mirror in the bathroom. Please provide a full size mirror in the room to make the experience complete.

The location was great, close both to the city center and the Barceloneta beach. It was also close to the metro station, from where we could go wherever we wanted. The staff was really nice and helpful, even sometimes suggesting where to visit.

One thing that I read also in the previous reviews was that the bed sheets weren't clean. I found some traces on my bed sheet, but when asked the staff they suggested solutions (even changing the room) at night, and in the morning they changed it (they outsource the cleaning company, so they weren't able to change it at night). Since I'm not a hygiene freak person I didn't care much, just wanted to change the bed sheet, but if you are, you can consider this also. Also, in the pictures, the rooms seem bigger than they were in reality.

The property is easy to reach and is close to metro & bus stations as well as many attractions. The staff at the hotel were all super nice, welcoming and fluent in English. I basically needed a room just so I could shower and sleep there because in Barcelona you want to be outdoors at all time. So my room was the perfect size, and the bathroom actually surprised me - the shower was huge! Everything was clean, tidy and smelled nice; both my room and the hotel. Barcelona was extremely hot during my visit, but the room was cool and I could sleep with a window open. Speaking of windows, the view from my room was to another wall but I seriously didn’t need a hotel room view because I was out most of the time, and I actually liked the privacy of my window not facing anything else. I also loved that I didn’t need to pay for hotel breakfasts because I wanted to eat all my meals out. Thank you so much for a pleasant stay Hotel Nuevo Triunfo 🥰

I knew this coming in, from all the comments that I read, that sounds carry and the walls are thin - I could hear when people were flushing toilet and showering (one person actually singing his lungs out in the shower :D) but to me that is not a deal breaker.

One of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff especially the man who checked me in was extremely helpful and knew the area well.

You can hear EVERYTHING. If you are a light sleeper don’t imagine to get a good nights sleep. You can hear the toilets flushing in the rooms above.

This hotel was the perfect size for a lone traveler this week. The cost was a bit steep, but the hotel is clean, comfortable, and in a good location nearby a Metro Station, Paral-lel. Breakfast was perfect for a small space. Everything is well kept, and the staff is very professional and friendly. I loved the water pressure in the shower! Thank you! I also appreciated you keeping my bags locked up while I toured the city once more before departing. Adios, Barcelona.

This hotel is very welcoming especially the very friendly people working which makes the time at this city more pleasant. The hotel rooms are not big but very modern and clean. My room had everything I needed and was cleaned everyday. The location is excellent close to the city centre but not in area where there are tourist trap restaurants. The staff are one of the friendliest ever and also kept my luggage on the last day of my resrevation. The shower and bathroom were clean modern and spacious.

The hotel prices in Barcelona are very expensive maybe if the rates can go down a bit would be excellent.

Was close to metro and bus station

The hotel key card couldn’t get in touch with the phone because it will automatically deactivate the card so I can’t get in my room, but the staff was really helpful and always someone at the desk!

perfect location, very close to city centre, seaside, metro stations and plenty of bars and restaurants it is very clean and with all essential amenities (hair dryer, towels, shampoos etc)

Rooms are not isolated, you can literally hear every single movement of the guests next door, or when a door opens and closes.. I was lucky to have a room in a corner, otherwise I think I would have not been able to sleep

Great location, very close to the sea, Montjuic and la Rambla, also 2 minutes away from a big metro station. Very polite and friendly staff. My room got cleaned every day. Rooms have everything you need. The price is really fair by Barcelona standards.

I have to agree with other reviews. It doesn't bother me personally, but walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from the other rooms.
