Hotel Sant Agustí

Good location, stylish rooms, friendly stuff, a lot of lovely restaurants around

The area around hotel is a bit dirty and a lot of homeless people hanging out there, so it’s a bit uncomfortable to walk back to the hotel, especially in the night

It was very close to the La Rambla street which is very well connected with metro and bus stations for the whole city. Clean and tidy rooms. It's very easy to find it from the airport. The staff was very helpful as well.

It's located in front of a small square where at night there were a lot of homeless people sleeping and making some noises in the middle of the night. Didn't bother me so much, but have in mind If you are traveling with kids..

The room and bathroom were clean, the bed comfortable, enough room for one big suitcase. The bathroom was good and looked like the picture. Good to have access outside even if it's really an in-between 4 rooms separated in 4 "balcony", quite small and with a clear view on all other "balcony". The staff was really nice and spoke perfect English. The location is also great, very central and close to public transportation. Lots of parking to book in advance with good price (10e/day) not too far away with metro.

The balcony, that isn't really one. No intimacy between the 4 balconies and it's quite weird and really not enjoyable if another room decides to go at the same time. The bathroom sink was clogged.

The staff was really friendly and helpful and the room was perfectly clean every day. I loved the view from the window overlooking the plaza as well. Wifi was really fast in my room as well and there was a little desk to work at. The breakfast was simple but had fruit, scrambled eggs, sausages, cold cuts, cheese, juice, etc. I would absolutely stay here again.

Water pressure was great in the shower but sometimes the temperature wavered a little. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Very nice air conditioned rooms. The hotel was also very quiet considering it’s excellent location.

Unfortunately, there were a lot of homeless people camping in the square in front of the hotel. They weren’t too disruptive, but it definitely brings the place down.

Very well located, extremely helpful staff... the room safe was useful to leave your important behind without carrying them with you around Barcelona

The hotel is located very close to the main street, walking distance to metro, though in a calm street, so there were no noise around. You can easily get to the metro station, just 1-2 minutes walk. Very clean, cosy. Big bed, comfortable matrass, nice pillows. A little desk for computer, big woodrode, deposit (locker)box. Clean toilet with shower. Cleaning each day. Towels provided, soap and shower gel included. TV with multiple channels. Reception people were very nice and helpful. There are also computers downstairs which you can use. Breakfast we didn't take, cause there are a lot of places around to go to, and also a huge Mercado just around the corner with fresh food all the time. Next to the reception there is a coffee machine. Very nice stay, very clean and cose hotel, definitly recommend.

Coffee machine or at least tea pot at the room would be nice.

Location and room with a small balcony looking over the Plaza San Angusti. The AC in the room nearly froze us out until I adjusted the thermostat. Also there is a nice cafe next to the hotel that was open early and late. I only had coffee in the morning and a beer in the night, but the food looked solid. Pizza place across the street was great for a late night snack. Convenience store just down the alley towards La Boqueria market. Church is next door and I walked through one morning and it was very pretty and well kept.

I would have liked to get the room earlier that 2pm.

The hotel itself was really nice and clean. The location is really ideal, seconds from La Rambla and easily walkable to all (most) attractions and beaches. Room was smaller than expected, but that wasn’t really an issue. Air conditioning was great. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is located on a small square that is frequented by homeless people and some drug users in both day and night. They didn't bother us at all, it just makes the place look a little rough and causes abit of a shock when first seen. We were also informed by the taxi driver and the receptionist that the area opposite to la Rambla as you leave hotel is quiet rough and can be dangerous for tourists, especially in the evening (because of muggings and drug use ect.), and to avoid walking that way and to stick to La Rambla side of the hotel. But after the original panic caused by this information we were cautious and we had no problems and felt safe. Just be aware you will see this staying at the hotel.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Near the market and the main street. The hall of the hotel is made in pleasant colors. There is an elevator.

The hotel staff (two men) were very rude. The room claims a terrace, but all that awaits you is a view of the walls of the building. The room was damp, some accessories were missing in the bathroom (toilet brush). When asked where he was, the staff replied that they were aware that he was not there and that this was normal. On the site, I chose a room with a terrace to the inner courtyard, but I saw only walls. When I forgot my charger in the room, I asked to give it back, but no one responded to my request. They said to come in the morning. On the last day after cleaning, they forgot to close the doors to the room where our things were. The staff was rude and spoke very impolitely to any request for help. The room had a bad sewer smell. And it doesn't look like the one in the photo.
