Paral·lel

We liked being in a very convenient location. Metro station Parallel 3' from the hotel and a great pedestrian road with numerous bars,restaurants!!!! Zodiaco was our favourite. A Carrefour supermarket right on the corner!!!! The bed was king size , air conditioned room, a fridge!!!and the staff helpful.

We asked for a wake up call at 5.45 a.m on a Thursday but we never got one.SOS!!!! Fortunately we had thought of a second call , so as to go to the airport in time. The hairdrier never worked properly and the next door guests were heard ......probably due to poor insulation in our room. The windows were dirty and the lamps over the bedside tables were covered in dust!!!!!!!

the staff is super friendly, beds are warm and comfortable, you can regulate the temperature of the room

hair dryer worked poorly, shower did not have a door so everything in bathroom was wet, lighting in the room and in the bathroom was bad (inconvenient to put make up on)

The staff was very friendly and gave great tips on where to explore in the city and which districts are worth visiting, also great suggestions on restaurants. Rooms were clean and beds comfy, AC worked but was quite loud. Breakfast was fine, could use more fresh veggies maybe. Location excellent - walking distance from major sights and districts.

The room was a bit "tired" and gets very dark in the evenings, the lightning is too dim for the dark interior of the rooms. The hairdryer did not work.

The room was very nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. 5-minute walk from a bus and metro station which was very convenient. Great value for the money!

The walls were very thin. All noise could be heard from the hallways and the apartment buildings right behind our room. The location was not very scenic.

Great location. Breakfast was very good, a variety of food to choose from. Reception staff very helpful.

No fault of the hotels but other guests being disrespectful when returning to their rooms after midnight. Other guests did not care about talking loudly when going to their rooms and slamming the door.

It was clean and the cleaning staff were maintaining it very good.

During the breakfast at the cafeteria I felt observed somehow by the ladies there and not able to eat relaxed. The rooms were quite damaged but it did not make our stay worse. A big minus is the air conditioner which was missing even though we had it included in the room we have chosen. During the night we had to sleep with open window because of this and it was very loud. Also the reception men very pretty nice in general but sometimes ignoring I would say and not that polite. I think they can still work on this and get things better :) The location of the hotel is very good with a lot of cafes and markets. A few bus or metro stops from the beach and the city center.

Staff were welcoming and helpful. As a disabled traveller they helped me source a wheelchair/scooter friendly taxi service. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Housekeeping was perfect. Location was good, close to the harbour, great eateries, bars and nightlife.

Walls were very thin so we heard the arguments of the adjacent occupiers easily. Room telephone didn’t work. No level access and a big step into the shower. No dressing table with mirror to get ready at.

-There’s nothing that I don’t like. Just one very very small remark is that if you really want to have absolutely no noise, you should request a room that is not facing the main road. I have ZERO problem with it, the noise is extremely small but since Spaniards stay up very late, you may still hear some people talking at 10pm. But after that there is no noise. Again for me this is absolutely no problem, noise is barely heard unless you want an absolutely zero noises the hotel still have other nice room offers.

It is very accessible to everywhere because metro is just few steps away! i like the bidet in the toilet too!! staff are very kind. they arranged our taxi for us as uber is not working in barcelona. so don’t book ubers there. also, i like that they have a luggage room where u can place ur luggages just in case u arrived earlier than the check in time and if ever you want to wander after the check out time! very nice hotel!!

it’s just that the banging of doors in the morning whenever you neighbor rooms are going for their breakfast or maybe going out.

Room was small, very clean, however, I noticed some sewer odor in the environment, not sure why if it was cleaned. Location is great, walking distance from some main touristic spots, close to Metro Paral-lel which can takes you everywhere in the city. Breakfast was ok, with the variety of a regular hotel. Friendly staff. It worked perfectly for me as a solo traveler.

A sewer odor in the room. However, I've noticed the odor is part of the city, still, it would have been great not to have it in the room.
