Olivia Plaza Hotel

Everything went well - exceeded our expectations!! Excellent staff very friendly all spoke English. Our room was upgraded without us even asking! An ice bucket with a full bottle of champagne and two glasses awaited us in the room on arrival. Our view was spectacular overlooking the plaza. Breakfast buffet excellent with specially cook orders as well were included. The staff were very helpful answering any questions and very prompt with room cleaning and any of our other requests. This was the absolutely best hotel we stayed in during our trip throughout France and Spain!

I loved everything about this hotel! Very special helpful staff and a great location! There was nothing we did not like about this hotel - I would highly recommend this hotel in Barcelona! The front desk was available 24 hours a day - you were always greeted coming and going.

I can't say enough about my stay here. It exceeded my expectations!! They went above and beyond my tiny request for a great view. If there was a 10 star rating, this hotel would be number 1. From the moment you arrive at the door, Although it was a celebration the weekend I checked in the noise fireworks was not overbearing. The view from my balcony was astounding! I really appreciated the water they gave each time you enter or leave without cost, the glass floor restaurant was amazing and the food was so delicious! My room on the 9th floor lacked nothing! The colors, the comfy bed and pillows, the robe, slippers, shower and the jetted tub were all amazing. I had to drag myself out of the room daily. I can honestly say that my stay here topped staying at the RIU in Madrid.

Amazing staff, amazing location, amazing room with a view. We were upgraded to suite. Everything was perfect. Would highly recommend it.

The only problem for me as a very light sleeper was that we could hear a bit from the noise outside. But this is the heart of the city on placa Catalunya... To be expected.

Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Location was amazing. Room size was just enough. They gave us access to a gym nearby which was pretty cool.

The only problem is outdoor pool was so far from the hotel we had to walk about 30 minutes.

The location of the hotel was PERFECT. We could easily walk and felt very safe. The hotel was quiet and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast choices were abundant and the service was excellent.

The operation of the lights in the room was confusing. We were also not able to adjust the temperature in our room. The staff said we could, but they controlled it from downstairs and on 3 occasions we had to call for them to make it cooler. I have never experienced that before. If traveling there, be sure to clear up the operation of the lights and air conditoning when you arrive.

Location, location, location.

Small things like 1 bathrobe torn. Terrace on floor 9 closed to guests, I was informed groups only??. Great view that guests can't access.

Location is great. Central to all attractions and, for us, is within easy walking distance to most locations. Great service by all staff. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Really comfortable hotel

Nothing to dislike!

This hotel deserves way more than 5 stars! Great location, walking distance to most of Barcelona’s attractions, minutes to public transportation, restaurants, cafes, abd shopping malls. The rooms are spacious and clean and you get complimentary parking if you have a car. The breakfast is delicious with a wide variety of food options. The staff are so professional, friendly, and helpful. From the door man, the cleaning staff, the restaurant staff to the reception staff, all of them are there for the hotel guests. We arrived early at the hotel and we got an upgrade to our room, one of the staff accompanied us to the parking and when we arrived at the room there was a fruit platter with a welcome card waiting for us! Highly recommended and I'll be staying at that hotel every time I visit Barcelona!

I have travelled quite a lot, and stayed in quite a lot of hotels. This one is by far one of the top 3, if not the best! The hotel is located in the heart of Barcelona, step away from many attractions, cultural and historic places. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful from the moment they welcomed me, greeted me every single time until I left. They called to check if everything was all good in the first 15mins of my stay, and even sent a plate of fresh food at my first night of stay. Also the breakfast was very good with a large selection, and the restaurant staff did everything possible to make the experience even better every single morning! I sincerely hope this hotel stays as it is, because it is already at the top!

As soon as we entered the property the welcome from the concierge to the reception staff made us feel comfortable in the hotel. The two gentlemen on reception were very attentive to ensure our check in went smoothly, we had been delayed due a flight issue, so they wanted to make sure we got to our room as quickly as possible the room was an excellent room with a view over the Catalunya Plaza and a table and chairs conveniently placed to allow you to watch the world go by. From the point of check in to check out all the staff you came across were really pleasant that included the room attendants you met in the corridor, the waiting on staff in the restaurant and bar always had time to say hello and this appeared to be a consistency with all the staff, The room was well equipped and well serviced each day we stayed, the restaurant and bar had a nice relaxed feel to it. All in all a really great stay in a great location.
