Having stayed here before, I was pleased to return and noticed the bathroom had been beautifully refurbished. Excellent breakfast, with a good choice of food. Superb location for tourists. Quiet room at night.

No clock in the bedroom. (A common complaint of mine in many hotels!). BBC World Service was listed on the television but was not obtainable.

They offered us free upgrade from room with balcony to room with terrace, and that was really nice! Rooms with terrace are bigger, and very calm, we liked it. They also offered us 2 free cava glasses, that's a pleasant surprise. The location is perfect.

One day after we checked out from hotel, they charged me 3.5 eur from my card for no reason and that's weird, I'd like to know why? We didn't use the mini bar, and when we checked out the administrator said that everything was fine. So why they charged that? The bathroom was too cold - I don't know why - way colder than in the room. And there was no bidet which is not perfect. The room was air conditioned and sometimes it turned off in the night for no reason, we don't know why.

The location was excellent - within walking distance of some points of interest, shops , restaurants and the starting point for the bus tours. The airport bus drop off point was located in Placa de Catalunya Square, a 5 min walk from the hotel. We used this to get to and from the airport, it took about 30 mins and was much cheaper than a taxi. The hotel was beautifully decorated, with friendly and helpful staff. Our room had a comfy bed, just what we needed after long days walking around the city. The TV had options to watch Netflix and Amazon Prime, just use the app on your phone to stream. The bathroom was modern and spacious, with a walk in shower that had a waterfall shower fitted to the ceiling. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona.

location, comfort, attention to detail. Hotel staff was awesome! beds were super comfortable! location was superb! Walking distance to the Plaza and the hop on hop off station. walking distance to Gothic Quarters, restaurants and La Rambla. best of all super hot water when you get back from a long day of walking and cold weather in addition to having a working air conditioning! there’s a small refrigerator with water, wine, beer, cava, jam, chips etc. no worries if you forgot your Toothbrush, eco friendly toiletries available including toothpaste. they called us a cab to transport to the airport.

The location was perfect, interesting and busy but quiet within the hotel and a real retreat from the vibrant and bustling city. The garden was welcoming and the swimming pool a bonus. The room was reasonably small but very comfortable and the balcony was a good booking choice. I would recommend considering booking a room with a balcony for extra space. The hotel staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. The location was excellent and just minutes from the airport bus and metro services and easy walking to many city highlights. We would certainly recommend a stay in this hotel.

The hotel was located in a perfect spot for us. It is right along a large, mostly pedestrian walkway which is the gateway to the Gothic Quarter. While many well known shops are right there, you are also literally steps away from the old, narrow streets which give this area its character. The hotel itself is quaint and quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly. There is a small pool and patio area which was a nice respite several days. The hotel is also close to many great attractions, museums and amazing restaurants. It is is also very close to one of the main tour hubs so if you book a tour or day trip you meeting poinymt is very close.

The rooms themselves-- we needed 2 as we were with our college age kids--were basic but fine. Our toilet clogged the day before we left and it did not get fixed. Overall, no huge negatives. I would say that if you are focusing your trip on La Sagrada Familia/Park Guell, it is about 25-30 minutes of commuting to get there. Not a big deal though worth noting.

The location is great, a 5 minute walk from the beautiful cathedral. The building and pool area are nice. The superior rooms are large. The suite is on two levels, it’s nice. The staff was very helpful to accommodate a family with small children (extra beds etc.). The breakfast buffet offers very many delicious dishes. It’s a 10 minute walk from the Plaza de Catalunya, which is where the Aerobus from the airport drops you, so it’s very convenient to get to the hotel (the bus runs 24 hours/day). I would stay here again.

Pricey, but that's Barcelona in July, I guess.

Breakfast had a good selection of eggs, frittatas, meats and cheeses mIt would be nice if they changed up egg and frittata selection a little. But everything was fresh and they had a good coffee selection. Also Fresh Squeezed orange juice The location was great, centrally located and we had a room in the back so it was very quiet. There is a nice garden, pool area where you can eat breakfast or just lounge by the pool. The staff were pleasant and helpful with anything that we asked.

The hotel is nice, a little pricey. Although I have nothing to compare it to as this was our only time in Barcelona.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and were on hand to help us with any questions. The hotel is very scenic and in a fantastic location. It is about a 5 minute walk from the Metro which we used frequently and surrounded by shops and lovely places to eat. The room was a great size and clean with a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Would return again and thoroughly recommend. Could not believe our luck with the value for money.

The only thing to mention would be that the Wifi was a bit temperamental from our room. Apart from that, everything was perfect

Quiet room with balcony overlooking the courtyard was just what was needed. breakfast was superb - excellent choice and quality location really worked for us - combined with a quiet room otherwise it would've been a noisy area, but so central to where we needed to be so allowed for us to pop back and recharge our batteries!

Room and balcony could do with refreshing paint and furniture (eg doors on wardrobe)and divisions between balconies are past their best. A minor quibble - our kettle leaked so was potentially quite dangerous but although it was reported on the first day nothing was done to replace it. in fact we were told there would be no replacement possible. we stayed for 4 nights so there was time to go out and buy a replacement!
