Kimpton Vividora Hotel, an IHG Hotel

I visited on January 2022 and had an absolutely wonderful experience. from the minute we stepped into the hotel the first time until our last day in Barcelona, my husband and I were really thankful with the experience and glad we did not book in another hotel. The staff (all of them with no exception) were all amazing! If you go there make sure to ask about Edward as well, he is Super nice and super helpful! he made sure that our experience was at its best and always helped us with everything related to our stay and our tourism plan without even asking him. Edward if you are reading this thank you to you and your best team :) the location of the hotel was at the center of many attractions - walking distance to all of the main areas in the city. also it is surrounded by supermarkets, shops, pharmacies, all the necessities that you might need. some people wrote reviews about the size of the room. to us it was perfect since we were tourists so we were going to spend most of our day out. also regardless of the size of the rooms and its closeness to each other, the hotel and its location were very quiet not noisy inside at all, unlike our experience in the rest of Europe. So we did not hear any noise coming in from the outside, nor noise coming in from the inside (kids, or any noisy guests). Finally, their beds were amazing and really comfy. we did not get to try their breakfast but definetly will do it next time.

Fantastic Staff. Beautiful hotel and a perfect location. Stunningly decorated yet laid back. We felt special from the moment we arrived. It was our wedding anniversary and we received and upgrade.... a bottle of bubbles , some chocs and a lovely note. My main reason though for this positive review is that we had our flight cancelled and it was gone 11pm. We called the hotel and they found a room for us. It was basic compared to what we had but we were so grateful. They also reduced the price to compete with the Airlines refund policy and the next day improved our room and Included breakfast. Amazing show of a personal experience which is rare in a 5 star hotel in a city

The location is good. The terrace was fun. The staff were very attentive example, I asked for an iron and ironing board and this appeared in 5 minutes. The toiletries were good and the bed comfortable.

The beside lights in room 418 are dangerous. Both my husband and myself banged our heads many time. The room needs a space to put a big suitcase and we could not see a shaver socket? I did not like the hard sell of the products on the shelves, they actually got in the way as there is little space for personal stuff. Shower doors do not meet and water is constantly wetting the bathroom floor.

The rooms were amazing, beds incredibly comfortable and very clean. Everything you could need in the room and in an excellent location! The staff couldn’t have been more helpful even letting us check in early after a very early flight into Barcelona. I normally don’t recommend breakfast at the hotel but this was a must, very varied, excellent service and no buffet which was great.

Loved being right in the heart of the Gothic quarter. Hotel staff and service was wonderful and greeted with glasses of Cava when checking in. Room was small but expected for Barcelona and bed was extremely comfortable. Rooftop bar and mini pool were lovely.

Hard for taxis to get to the location as its surrounded by walking streets so make sure if you need a taxi to get somewhere, you order early/and they know where to go or drop you near. We were late to a dinner because the taxi had a hard time finding the hotel.

Location is great, middle of everything, hard to reach for taxis, so expect a little walk with your suitcase,(just 2/3 minutes) or use the front desk to ask for a taxi, since they know a car service that actually knows how to reach the lobby. Personnel is awesome, really helpful, and the cocktails at the bar are super special, let the bartender make something for you instead of asking for your usual, he's very creative, and also very knowledgable about where to go in Barcelona. Just all around friendly and sweet people! lighting in rooms could be a bit sexier, but nice design, great beds!! just great value for money and cool design. Rooftop is fun too!! and free wine in the afternoon in the library!!

the lighting could be even sexier in the rooms, it wasn't bad at all, don't think it was tl light or something lol, and most folks won't be bothered, but maybe they could improve on that. For the rest just great

Everything about this hotel was awesome! The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. The breakfast buffet was divine - definitely recommend getting this included in the room package though because it's a bit pricey if you pay each day like we did. The best part was the rooftop bar and pool area with the view of the city, ocean and gothic quarter. Absolutely stunning and the location of the hotel was perfect, walking distance to shops, restaurants, Las Ramblas etc. Highly recommend booking here!

A very good quality hotel, very clean and location great. The staff very friendly and helpful. The Breakfast was excellent, very good especially the eggs ;-) Me and my friends, we really enjoyed our stay.

The reason we have marked the hotel down was because we were really excited about the rooftop pool area but on the Saturday morning (the only day it was sunny) when we had planned to use it, the hotel had booked the rooftop area to be used for an external fitness class which meant that we could not use the rooftop pool or sun loungers. This was disappointing as we were not made aware this was happening.

Brilliant location, really good for exploring on foot and convenient too for accessing the metro. The hotel was chic, yet comfortable and all staff were very friendly and helpful. Despite being in the busy gothic quarter, our room with a balcony, was very quiet. Our bedroom was spacious and well furnished. The roof top bar was excellent and we enjoyed the lounging area and the pool Excellent breakfast menu and extensive buffet The complimentary drinks early evening were an added bonus

It would have been good to have a bit more clothes hanging and storage space Apart from that, this was an ideal hotel for our 4 night stay
