Praktik Rambla

Loved the croissants in the morning, and the 24/7 coffee and tea machine! Staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, the bed was huge and very comfortable! The hotel is about 30 min walk to la Sagrada Familia, and about 10 min to La Rambla and many stores around. It was a great location to stay in.

Our wifi didnt work at all.. we could connect in the lobby area but it didn’t let us connect in our bedroom. Because of that I had to use my roaming data which cost me $75.. I was disappointed by that because we expected it to work and needed wifi to plan our days and communicate with family that were also staying in Barcelona.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Love the fresh croissants and coffee machine. Such a beautiful old charming place. Located in the center of everything.

They do give you a bottle of water when you arrive but wish they had cold water available all day since it’s so hot.

Shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, body lotion and hand wash are available and of high quality. Rain shower in the bathroom. Bathroom and the room are clean. Hair dryer is attached near the basin area which is very handy. Delicious croissants are available every morning from 7:30 to 10 am which is really good. There is also a lounge area on the first floor where guests can have breakfast or do their work. There is also an open terrace for guests to relax or chit chat. Location is perfect with a few metro lines. There are many restaurants and cafes in walking distance. It is convenient to take airport bus to the hotel. One ticket costs 5.90 euro. R1 line one stop goes to the Barcelona - Sant station which is really convenient.

Lighting is not sufficient for work. There are only side table lamp at each side of the bed and two lamps above the bed. Total 4 lamps and one at the top near the entrance to the bathroom. Overall, the room is very dim. There is no work desk in the room which makes it very hard to do any work or use computer. There is no kettle to boil water. Coffee machine is on the first floor and hot water is available from the machine. However, one has to go to the first floor each time you want to get hot water.

The hotel is situated two streets above La Rambla street, so close without all the people. Outside is a street with restaurants and outside dinning, perfect for people watching. The prices were also very good considering you’re in a major city. The hotel has an excellent terrace and you can buy wine from across the street. The staff are very friendly and help you out with booking items like the bus tour. There is coffee/tea available and cousants but there are places close by for bigger breakfasts.

The old problem we found were the sights on the bus tour needed to be booked online previously, you’ll need a QR code reader on your phone. Otherwise nothing to complain about.

In the city center, 5 minutes walking distance from Las Ramblas and other tourist attractions. Also close to shopping centers. The single room was very clean and very luxurious and newly decorated compared to other hotels in the area. The architecture of the hotel building is classic, so I should mention that it is a good combination of modern and classic and reflects the architecture of the city. I really enjoyed my time there, especially from the courtyard at the back of the 1st floor. The free coffee and croissants in the morning was a good start for traveling around beautiful Barcelona.

I was very tired when I reached and it was just one night stay and had got nothing much time at all to experience all the services so it's better to be quiet. However the room was extremely comfortable and on the top of that hotel looked like a vintage building, thums up to that. Last but not the least, my dear brother "SARDAR MOHAMMED KHAN" at front desk was incredible help and friendly. I am going to stay at this property as long as my brother would be there. Khan bhai all columns clicked excellent, just becauase of you bro Good bless you bro!!!

I was obsessed with this hotel. The location was absolutely perfect. It was located close to a metro station and within walking distance of plenty of shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and clean. I highly recommend staying here if youŕe in Barcelona.

The bed was astonishing, so comfortable, sheets were comfortable too! My own bed seems so depressing compared to the hotel bed. The croissants were also delicious and the garden was cool. Also the shower is really good!

Unfortunately we had construction outside our our room which was out of the hotels control. I did wake up pretty early and we were out and about all day so it didn't disturb us too much but still a downside. Also you could sometimes hear the lift at night. Adding a full size mirror to the room would be nice, felt like it was hard to get ready in the bathroom as the lighting wasn't even.

I just love this hotel! The location is so convenient and the hotel is pretty, clean and of very good quality. Though room is not spacious, but it’s cozy and all the facilities work well. I also like the nice outdoor balcony when you can have your breakfast, work or read by yourself or have a coffee time with your friends. Staff here is very friendly, welcoming and helpful! And I must say the free coffee all the day and the yummy croissants in the morning are just made the stay more delicious. I woke up by the bakery air everyday.

We were welcomed with complimentary water and ice lolly upon check-in. The room was very clean, well equipped (air-con, shampoo, conditioner, body wash) and spacious for the price we paid. The hotel was in a superb location, close to tourist spots, shops, Gothic district and transport links (airport bus only 3 min walk). Staff were polite and happy to help with any queries (e.g., restaurant recommendations). The building was beautiful throughout, in both the rooms and shared areas. The outside terrace was a nice area and was kept clean. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Our view from our room was of a grimy wall and other windows. We didn't care much as we didn't pay more for a room with a better review and kept the curtain shut. The breakfast was limited, but you are aware of this upon booking. Overall the facilities were good for the price paid, if you are looking for more (e.g., bar, fridge in room, more breakfast choices) then expect to pay more.
