My stay at Barcelona Hostel exceeded all my expectations! The rooms were comfortable and clean; the staff was very friendly and always happy to help. It was my first time staying at a hostel, and frankly, I didn't expect to feel so safe and comfortable. 9pm dinners and open buffet breakfasts were a great value for the money and I met so many enthusiastic travelers!

Although I brought my own white towel to the hostel, the cleaning staff mistaken it for the hostel towel and took it from my room. I reported it to the staff at reception, but they didn't return my towel, saying that it was sent to the laundry room :( This made the continuation of my trip through Europe a bit uncomfortable, since in all the other cities I stayed, I always had to borrow/rent a towel, which I wasn't intending to do. Also, PLEASE be careful with the sockets at the hostel room! I believe a short circuit occurred when charging my phone, which is why it broke. I'm not sure if it was because of the hostel facility or the general electricity supply in Barcelona, so please just be aware that such situations can happen.

We had been here five years ago and absolutly loved it, came back and were happy to do so. The beds are comfortable and give enough privacy with the curtains. There are walking tours and dinner every day so it is easy to get to know some people if you are travelling alone and there is something to do, even if you were to lazy to think about it yourself 😅

They did not keep up with cleaning the little shower room. It was rusty and moldy. There is no sink in the toilet so be aware of that if you need it.

The hostel has a great location for exploring all of the attractions of the city. Metro is near by and is an excellent way of transportation. The activities are well organized, I loved the city tour with Leo. The dinner was also great. The staff at the reception was really friendly and helpful. Loved the lounge area and the comfy bed in the dorm.

The house keeper. Went straight into my room even if I told her I was resting and didn't want her to make noise. She did the cleaning with some chemicals so I had to leave the room immediately so I don't breathe that in.

The free tours was INCREDIBLE, best experience. Leo with the Gothic tour and the other tall guy and handsome guy (i don't remember the name now hahaha) with Modern tour both were incredible. The hostel is a perfect stay if you're traveling alone, there's many ways of making friends, and everybody is very friendly, dinners, nights out, tours... Is you visiting, do not miss the rooftop, the view (specially at night) is incredicle. Hope to be back soon. Oh, and its close to metro and bus stop, the area is very safe, so don't worry.

The first day hot shower was not working, but they solved my problem sending me to other room to take a shower and the next day, there's hor water in my room as well. I just thing the size of shower room was too small. Just an observation, I was trying to find a female room but it was not available anymore. It's not acoomodation problem bu i didn't like to share the room with other men, specially because they were not higienic.

Very good Hostel, highly recommend!! Staff is very helpful, pleasant and they offer things like a free walking tour in town and pub crawl for example. Tried both and the experiences I made were very good 👍 😀 Furthermore the food was suberb!! For 7 € you get a really delicious breakfast with lots of variety and the dinner costs about 12 € for a three course meal and is also very good!! Last but not least it's easy to connect with other people from all over the world and thus also perfect for single travellers 😊😊

Yeah hostel impressed me a lot. I didn’t expect such great accommodation conditions and facilities from hostel. Prices for breakfast, dinner and drinks are pretty cheap compared to average check in Barcelona. Moreover, dinner here it is the other great experience, cause it is not only about tasty food. If you going stay here, check it at least once. But the greatest thing are the people who worked there during my stay. Many greetings to Wi-sin, Anna, and Iryna for hospitality, guides and that positive vibes.

Incredible hostel, I enjoyed my stay there so much! The beds are extremely comfortable, it was impossible to get up, the staff is awesome, very kind, helpful, friendly and a joy to be around, they always had some organised events, mutual dinner (for a very affordable price, unfortunately I didn’t get the opportunity to try this, but other people at the hostel said that the dinner is awesome, delicious and filling) and tours in the city, pub crawls etc, the location is also very good, very close to the metro and main attractions. I enjoyed my stay in this hostel to the fullest and would love to stay there again at the earliest possibility ❤️ would definitely recommend. People staying there are very cool as well :) I also loved how there’s all the facilities for people with disabilities.

Everything was amazing

Perfect location for the hostel with the most amazing staff. Start your day off right with an all you can eat breakfast buffet for less than €10 before heading out for a walking tour of the city with the knowledgeable staff who also offer amazing facts about the city and suggestions of where to visit, looking at you Pablo! Explore and return to the hostel any time of day with a 24/7 reception and plenty of lounge/shared areas for you to enjoy time outside of your room, including the rooftop pool and bar! Family dinners are a staple, sign up for three courses with you fellow travellers and gorgeous food cooked by the talented chef Fabio, before Wesing whisks you away for a pub crawl around some of the hidden gems of the city. A perfect place to stay.

Nothing

The hostel seems quite peaceful (in January) with still program every day for those who want to participate. I really liked that there are toilets and showers in every (?) room, and their lounge area works very well during the day if you have to work a bit. Extra points for the nice rooftop with a view and a small pool. I still feel intrigued to go for a quick dip.

The room is quite humid, even with only 4 people and you are not really allowed to open the windows and atleast in our room the AC was ot very powerful. The reception was very nice and gave us the handle to open the window for a sec, but ofcourse the humidity comes back the second someone takes a shower. Still being the biggest flaw during my January stay I would come back here.

The best hostel I’ve ever stayed at! It’s very social, so if you go to the dinners or the night tour it’s very easy to make friends. The pub crawl host, Zoe, is phenomenal! All of the staff are really friendly and have great energy. The lounge area is super comfortable too and rooms are quiet if you need some downtime. The location is good too - only a couple minutes walking from the metro. Clean, spacious, well-maintained and overall a great choice to explore Barcelona from, especially as a solo traveller.

The charging ports next to the bed can be a bit temperamental and the top bunks do not have curtains so unless you’re on the bottom bunk, privacy is a tad compromised. They only have a couple basic games in the lounge, not a great selection if you’re a board game enthusiast but there’s so much else to do that it doesn’t really matter honestly.
