Ariyasom Villa - SHA Extra Plus

We loved our short stay with Ariyasom Villa and wish we had more time. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The property is a green oasis within the city with plenty of trees, plants, flowers, etc enveloping you. The buildings and rooms are very natural and comfortable. Our room was very spacious with floor to ceiling doors that opened out to a balcony. We didn't use the balcony much, but it let in great light and made the room feel even more comfortable. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was great with a unique, natural design with the impression of the outdoors. The water pressure, shower, and everything else was just right. There was fruit in the room for us upon arrival, as well as large water bowl with flowers. The room also smelled wonderful. The room was truly fantastic. We also had the breakfast with the hotel, which was delicious. They had a great selection, as well as treat you to all of the extras, such as fruits, teas, juices, coffees, etc. It was all served to us by the pool, which was a great seating. Again, the staff were so very friendly. The hotel also made us a breakfast to go on our last morning due to an early departure. I did take advantage of the Thai massage at the spa here and it was wonderful. Again, no surprise, the staff was excellent. The massage was done outdoors on top of the upper pavilion. A great experience. For location, it worked for us, as we were able to walk down the road and to the nearest train station - Ploen Chit. It was about a ten minute walk. Keep in mind, the hotel is not down next to the river or the Grand Palace. We used the train, which took maybe 30~40 minutes to get down to that area. The train is very comfortable and easy to use, however. Lastly, there are plenty of local food stands along the walk to the hotel, as well as a couple 7-11 shops on the same street for any quick snack or drink pick ups. All in all, we loved the stay at Ariyasom Villa and would certainly stay again.

Honestly can't think of any thing we didn't like.

The Ariyasom was very beautiful and extremely comfortable. The staff were helpful and always willing to assist or provide answers. If you come to relax in a beautiful room and sit by a picture perfect pool, this is your place.

I didnt like the location because it was at the end of an alley beside the canal. The water taxi traffic in the canal didn't bother us too much but I can see where others might have a problem with the noise. What was odd for me was the food offered at the restaurant. If you like gourmet cuisine, this is your place. I love traditional thia foods and if this is what you prefer, this isn't your place.

We had a very warm welcome from the front desk. They were very helpful in arranging very good taxis for us to visit Ayutthaya and our airport transfers. Also, they let us use the spa showers before our 12am flight which was very much appreciated! The location itself was very much an oasis of calm in the busy city.

The location was a little far from many of the sites we were visiting, and it took a while to get places. I think this is probably a Bangkok thing, rather than something specific to this hotel. Make sure you grab their card with directions to the hotel in Thai when you go out!

It was an relaxing Oasis from the craziness that is Bangkok. Beautiful rooms and great restaurant with good breakfast. Big fans of their Pomelo Salad!

Can’t fault the place

The location it was a 10 min walk to the BTS station. The walk was very lively as there is a hospital in the street and there are mainly food options on the street, there is no noise from ambulance they enter the hospital in a different road. The unexpected green area the hotel created. The nice breakfast lots of choices.

We saw a cockroach in the room, i know this is unavoidable in a warm country, we had rather not seen it

There is not enough space here to tell you everything I love about Ariyasom Villa. This was our second stay. The architecture, the pool, the food, the hospitality, the spa, the attention to detail make Ariyasom the perfect green oasis in the urban intensity of Bangkok. And the icing on the cake is the Fabulous David, an Englishman, armed with his homemade chocolate cake and ginger biscuits able to translate Thai culture for westerners and tell a tale or 2 or 3 which will leave you laughing in his charming garden and planning your next visit!

just to put something, I would say the lighting on the dinner tables at night in the garden could be stronger please so you could see the fabulous colours of the food more clearly.

The food is excellent at Ariyasomvilla. The service is gracious and understated. We never wanted for anything.

This is less about “not liking” than a statement of fact. Be prepared to walk down the street a little to catch a taxi, Grab or Tuk-Tuk. We ended up using the mass transit a lot - it’s immaculately clean and more efficient than a taxi in many cases.

a stunning boutique hotel with lush vegetation in a good central location. Well appointed room with marvellous whirlpool bath.

Clean up to a certain level, the whirlpool jets have hair and skin debris which you’ll see after your bath or during. Lots of dust in the more difficult locations like behind ornaments, tv and high up shelves. Right next to a canal so expect mosquitoes and occasional sewage smell.

We loved staying at the beautiful Ariyasom Villa. The staff were incredibly hospital and professional. The all you can order breakfast was fantastic. The couple’s massage was super relaxing. To top it all off, we loved the local eateries offered on the very same street that the hotel was located on. The accommodation was also exceptionally clean and comfortable. I can’t think of anything about our stay that could be improved. Would whole-heartedly recommend booking a stay at Ariyasom Villa!
