Hom hostel & Cooking club

The staff were helpful and freindly, they helped us do laundry (paid 100B), so we didn't waste time waiting luandry. The private room is quite big, 2 luggages can be fully opened. Easy to have drinking water anytime and they offer black coffee in the morning (but no breakfast) Walk to BTS NANA station is so near around 5 mins. Nana Square 3F is food court (hostel is 4F)

It was not easy to enter the building after 9pm, you have to go down to the parking basement then take elevator. Some mold in the toilet. Information is incorrect: No cooking class anymore. Nana square close at 9pm, only parking basement access

- strategic location, between walking distance to 2 BTS stations. - the bed is so comfy and thick, and the aircon is cold, so we had a good sleep. - the private room is big, there's enough space to to open the luggage without having to bump into furniture - i love the rooftop garden for morning breakfast. the room is cleaned on request and the kitchen is huge.

- if you're looking for a social hostel, this is not the place, as there's no communal activities together. however the staff is always helpful to give you directions an/or ideas on where to go or what to do. - the advertised cooking demo is sadly not running anymore. the hostel doesn't provide breakfast, but they do have shared fridge and microwave so you can easily warm-up your takeaway.

Nice and clean rooms at very reasonable price at the heart of Sukumvit. Has beautiful garden, nice management people and free drinking water. Starbucks, Burger King, The Pizza Company and shopping mall just downstairs. Would love to stay again.

After 10PM you have to enter through the basement as this is on the top of a shopping mall. But I didn’t have any problem. Lifts and gates are accessible 24/7.

The staff's friendliness and the cleaning, comfortable beds both in the double and dormitory rooms. The double room is really cozy too! The dormitory hosts only 4 people for the moment and it makes it perfect and not too crowded. The air conditioning is really convenient after a sweaty day outside, and it is fully adjustable. The common areas are very well maintained and cosy. Despite the very noisy area, the hostel is well insulated and quiet. The proximity with BTS train station is a plus.

The location is very busy and not for everyone, as it's a kind of red light district, bit didn't face any issue as nobody bothers you if you just pass by.

I like the room. It was big for a couple, it has a nice sofa, desk and chair. I liked the view to the top roof garden! The receptionist was amazing and friendly. She has always a smile. Additionally, she let us storage our luggage for a couple of hours during our check out day. The room looked the same as the photo showed in Booking.com and it was amazing!

One to two blocks away from the hostel, the red district of Bangkok is located. For us it was OK, but in our opinion it could not be appropriate for kids or families with children. Eventhought we love our stay at HOM hostel

Great hostel Super Clean Beds rooms Kitchens Rooftop Garden 🪴 STAFF is fantastic it’s on top of a shopping mall late at nights the entrance back to the hostel is n the bottom Car park use the 24Hrs Lifts … there a 24Hrs Security guard n car park too … come home 1 night Old man sleeping on my bed lol grab his arm & pulled him off my bed will be back n this hostel again when visiting Bangkok God Blessings ✅

Excellent value for money. Good location between Phloen Chit and Nana BTS stations. Affordable local food court on floor below in mall. Helpful owner. TV with Netflix. Shared kitchen. Rooftop garden.

If you're a really light sleeper, it might be a little noisy for you (near to BTS line). Rooms not very soundproof.

This stay was different than April. The staff seem to have more confidence post Covid. The Manager was welcoming; housekeeping was friendly and efficient. The Manager was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction to "walk" to Central Embassy.

Nothing!!. Everything "post Covid" was great.

Exceptionally clean, great air-con in rooms. staff made efforts to assist me: helping me print out my train ticket, allowing me to have a shower after checkout. Very accommodating, appreciate how helpful they were.

The only area consistently air-conditioned was sleeping quarters. The common area was only sporadically air-conditioned where people could sit down

The location is very good and unlike some of the sites in the area is really central but not directly in the adult entertainment district - across a major street and close to other sites of interest in the area.

Currently, the cooking demonstrations are on hold. This was not mentioned in the listing and was one of the things that drew me to this site. Hopefully, as the pandemic lifts, they will start this up again.
