Baan Dinso

Nice old building with a one-of-a kind character close to Kao San road (10 minutes on foot) and basically you can explore all the sights just by walking. For breakfast you have 3 options, all of them are great. Staff was kind enough to provide us early morning airport transfer and take away breakfast.

A few things I was missing in the room, like there was no soap by the wash basin, no bath rug, no hairdryrer. We booked the deluxe room with ensuite bathroom and I found the price a bit high after staying there. There is a downside of an old building as well, wich is noise. Not from the street because it’s very quite, but from upper floor for example.

This was an amazing experience staying at a hostel boutique. Beautifully restored home centrally located in the middle of Bangkok within walking distance numerous sights (Giant Swing, Temples, Khaosan Road, Democracy Square, etc.). Staff will set up taxi service and make recommendations when asked. Breakfast is amazing and the staff is outstanding. Made our stay so very special and memorable. Make sure you get a room with a bathroom. I would definitely visit again. There are numerous great restaurants in walking distance (we ate at the Din had a great happy hour and right next door to Din is another good place). There are 7 Eleven’s, banks, currency exchanges, Amazon Cafe right outside the hotel.If you like to walk and check out a city this is the place to stay or you can easily get a taxi to make it places faster. You can see and experience city life during your stay.

No dislikes, just have to realize the hotel is tucked inside a city block and you have a back street to turn onto get to the property.

The house was very pretty and taken care of. The toilet and shower, even though it is shared, was always very clean. Also, extra point for hot water, I find that often the water around Thailand is just warmish. In here, it was possible to adjust, and it felt good to take a hot shower. The staff was so kind, especially a young boy, that I believe he did a bit of everything, he was such hard work. The lady at the reception I didn't see her so often but she was also very polite and helpful. The breakfast was also very complete, I often asked just for half because it was too much food for me, they have a proper coffee machine for latte and cappuccino and we don't see that often.

I loved it here. I must admit when the taxi dropped us off and told us to walk down this alley to the hotel, I thought we'd got the wrong place, the immediate area didnt seem in keeping with the hotel pictures I'd seen BUT you go down this alley and turn right into the hotel, and you're immediately in a totally different atmosphere. Super clean and immaculate facilities, very friendly people who run it, and very comfortable rooms. I couldn't fault it. The breakfast was very nice too. Only about 5 mins walk from the Khao San Road, you'd never know. This place is a hidden gem and if I ever go back to Bangkok I would stay here again without a doubt. Would highly recommend.

Nothing. There was nothing I could criticize here. The hotel and facilities were lovely. A pool would have been perfect but to be honest, in Bangkok it's rare to get pools with hotels. As far as places go, I loved the Baan Dinso.

The place is just a few steps from the Democracy Monument, but hidden among atmospheric narrow streets. Surprisingly, the place is quiet. The hotel itself has a pleasant vibe. Wooden teak floors, excellent breakfast. Even though the bathroom is shared, it wasn't inconvenient at all. At the room, you have a kettle, fridge, complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks. The bed was super comfortable.

Staff was super friendly and tried to help in all belongings. I even received a small farewell gift. The shared area (toilet / shower) was clean and I felt comfortable. The location is great. Grand Palace, Khao San and Golden Mountain are in walking distance. I can highly recommend this place.

Everything was perfect.

Breakfast was plentiful and varied a la Carte; the location was exquisite in a little back alley close to a major landmark ( democracy monument) and the Grand Palace. The house was a gem restored in typical colonial style and very tastefully decorated.

No swimming pool but that would have been hard to install given the antique character of the surroundings.

I really enjoyed my stay. It was peaceful and the staff were so good and helpful. The breakfast menu was lovely, and the staff were always willing to make additions and serve with respect and kindness. The rooms were comfortable, and it made me feel. welcome. Will definitely recommend to others and appreciate the great hospitality of Bangkok

Beautiful little traditional Thai Guesthouse right in the middle of Bangkok - Wooden rooms with pretty bright windows, a little garden, birdsong, and a totally zen atmosphere even though the busy city is just around the corner. Nice breakfasts, lovely staff, perfect location with great restaurants nearby, and 10min walk to the canalboat to Siam square and the skytrain.

I love the entire aesthetic especially the green table lamp in the room. Netflix is available. Staff are warm and friendly. I suppose they are detail oriented as they truly did a great job taking care of the place. Great breakfast provided. Location is great too. Good variety of shops and restaurants to choose from. Two 7-11 nearby. Walking distance to Khaosan.
