The Cotton Saladaeng Hotel

clean spacious room, big and comfortable beds, 4 choices of breakfast in the little coffee shop next to the hotel , it was delicious and they even packed it up for us on our last morning as we had to leave very early. The little pool was also more than enough and a welcome way to cool down after a day out in Bangkok. Staff was very friendly , hotel is in a good location next to Lumpini park with a playground and in between the MRT and BTS station, very easy to get to the airport by skytrain. Would definitely stay again.

nothing - Great value for the money we paid

Great location, close to both eateries, shops, the park and also transport links. The facilities were modern and sleek and the rooms were great. The roof top pool was really nice however doesn’t get much sun due to high rise buildings but we only spent an hour there so weren’t bothered.

Unfortunately we had a mishap with new pyjamas we had bought which had leaked dye onto the bed sheets. This resulted in us having to pay a pretty hefty fee for replacing the sheets. While I understand the charge it just ruined our experience and the charge did not intuitively link to how much the bed sheets would likely cost to replace, however that is just our opinion and we can’t say for sure. We weren’t shown the sheets prior to them being washed to prove that they were unsalvageable which would have put our minds at ease that we weren’t getting scammed.

The value for money for what you get was amazing, The rooms were exceptionally clean and nicely furnished and our family room (for 4) on the 4th floor was quite large! The pool area was really cool too and the coin laundry was a nice alternative to sending laundry away. We made good use of the massage parlour down the road, as well as the little mexican place on the corner (for afternoon cocktails mainly :)), the smoothie hut outside of 7/11 and there were a few places to get good coffee around there too.

The location was a little quiet and the breakfast options were limited (if you needed breakfast before 9am). We ended up doing the pre-paid breakfast options at Toby's underneath most days which suited our kids.

Good size of room -very clean and modern with nice decor. Staff very friendly and helpful with any enquiries. Also enjoyed having pool and laundry service within hotel. Good location for access to Lumpini pk.

Room was a bit hot. Advised to have aircon kept at 25 d -affected sleep. Bit of a long walk to Sky train -normally distance no problem but given heat/humidity in Bkok almost impossible to do without sweating prifusely by time you arrived at station.

Well ubicated. Nice pool. Very clean and nice breakast. Very practical the laundry room (washing plus drying for less than 4 euros). Good option for families.

The clouds and decoration of the corridors a bit cheesy for my taste, but my children liked it very much.

Staff were very friendly and could speak English. They even helped me with a minor cut with their first aid kit. Beds were very comfortable. The AC was really effective.

I wish there was a card key for every person staying in the room, 3 keys for a triple or 2 keys for a double. I stayed in a triple but among 3 people we had to share 2 keys. Rooms aren't super sound proof so I could hear children screaming or running in the hallways. Room curtains didn't have a second light opaque curtain, so when you open the curtains, it's just strong hot light blasting into the room. Shower pressure wasn't as strong as I would've liked. There are also a good number of outlets in the room but I wish there was an outlet on both sides of the bed.

The room was spacious and cleaner than expected. I love the vibes of the hotel it was very pleasant and the staff (especially the housekeeping ladies were so sweet!) We went during new year's and we were surprised to see 2 pieces of chocolate and a greetings card on our bed! There were cafes and restaurants around it was really nice!

The nearest mrt is lumphini BTS station but if you were to walk to sala daeng BTS station (which is more convenient to travel to siam) the walk is quite long (about 15 minutes). At night, the streets leading to the hotel are not very well-lited so it might feel a bit unsafe but generally it was okay!

highly modern rooms in good condition, perfect location in the embassy district, relatively quiet considering it was at a busy area, high class restaurants (not really cheap)

for a brand new hotel with high class interiors, soundproof windows would be great in such a busy city

The hotel room was very clean and spacious for us 6 people. Very family-friendly. The receptionist was very helpful. I love that they are of different races and can understand English pretty well. The staff also helped me booked a massage outside of the hotel. The shower room was also separate from the toilet so it really helps if you are 6 people staying in one room. I also like that there is a very nice coffee shop just beside the hotel.

It was a bit far (around 15-20mins by Grab) from other tourist destinations like malls (Icon Siam, Platinum, Chatuchak, etc). I think there are other hotel options which are nearer to these tourist spots.

Good location. Quiet. Clean. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Good working aircon. Free tuk tuks in the day to the nearest BTS station - very convenient in the intense heat and humidity. Excellent coffee in the cafe downstairs. Walking distance from a very good steakhouse.

Just needs more storage and suitable height furniture to place your luggage (for old people). Would be good to have more chairs in the room.
