Urbana Sathorn Hotel, Bangkok

Perfect location close to the metro, Lumphini station. The view from the wonderful pool, friendly staff, ok breakfast. We stated in a room with living and bedroom, really nice. AC works really well. There is a 7-Eleven near the hotel. If it is your first stay in Bangkok you should be in this are (newly skyscapers all arround), not into a clasic neighborhood.

Room and elevator access cards! If you keep then near a phone it doesn't work anymore. It happened 1-2 times per day, that is a lot. At least they should give up elevator acces if you have so many bad cards. You get in the elevator and if the card doesn't work will go up and down to the floor is called. Everyone has a phone now and keep it in the pocket, purse, etc. That system is old and need to be changed asap.

I went downstairs with my friend and looked for a lighter for a birthday cake so I asked one of the reception staff who was working that night for the lighter, she was telling us with a cranky voice that we can’t have smoke in the room so that made me upset from her cranky attitude, instead she should remind us about the rule and should use a nice voice not a cranky voice. All of us have strictly followed the rules. This happened on 26th of February around 8pm in the evening.

The room was so big and there are two independent rooms and a living room in our rooms which is great for a group of travelers. The views outside and the pool are fabulous as well.

The location is a bit far from the bts station and it’ll be more convenient to travelers who take taxi as their main transportation in Bangkok. The staffs were kind basically but one of male lobby staffs sitting on the reception desk was impolite and treated us in a disrespectful manner (we went there in Jan. 17 23:15）

great facilities, huge spacious 2-bedroom apartment with two bathrooms. breakfast was great and the staff are very friendly. rooms were cleaned daily and immaculately presented. Kids had fun with the pool and the basketball court. international hospital across the road with impeccable service and very affordable urgent care options for people who need to see a doctor.

very difficult location and waited lengthy periods for a GRAB. traffic was very congested and took a long time to reach any tourist attractions.

You can expect the visitors to be young tourists and they may make some noises. I had to move to another room because of that. And since the hotel is located next to the main road, you will hear a lot of noises from the road too. But I am ok with that.

We got a complimentary upgrade from a 2 bed apt to a 3 bed apt and the entire apartment was AMAZING! The view from the 21st floor was outstanding and the apartment itself was in a good location. You can walk to Patpong Night Market and there are 7-11’s close by. Beautiful apartment with lounge area and Netflix and YouTube for the kids.

The master bedroom AC doesn’t function properly leaving the room really hot and uncomfortable to sleep in. Shame as the bedroom itself is gorgeous. Breakfast could have a little more variety and cleanliness as I saw many flies on the food. But it was still enjoyable.

room was spacious and well appointed and posh. two bathrooms and living room with kitchenette. windows were full views all throughout. fantastic. five-star hotel furnishings/room...staff were accommodating and patient but not all (specially some front staff)....concierge/doormen and housekeeping were all very helpful..infinity swimming pool was fantastic...though it appears to be quite old (needs some freshening up)...more importantly the location was great (in the modern side) but almost central to all key areas in Bangkok....many good eateries/restaurants on convent road and even along the main Satorn tai road.....24 hour convenience store was spitting distance so is the BNH hospital...

toiletries were quite basic...bath soap (though there is body wash liquid) would have been given more...breakfast was ok but the restaurant was more of a cafeteria than a restaurant...this spot needs freshening up...this sort of downgraded the very nice and posh feature of the room and the front lobby... tv channels are limited (specially English Channel ones)...almost 75% of the channels were local (so difficult to follow for non-that speaking guests)...
