Antea Palace Hotel & Spa

The staff were so friendly and would help you in every way they can. I've had 2am pizzas brought to my door. Laundry collected and delivered, Good information exchanged, taxis arranged whatever you want you name it. The garden outside is open 24hrs and its beautiful with benches to relax. Garden has a 24hr cafe with roof terrace with all day food and shisha. Back to the hotel, the mattress and pillows were soft and good quality, I'm used to firmer. The best thing about it was the lower ground floor spa. Swimming pool, sauna, steam room with towels all free to use for guests. My kids loved this area and i very much enjoyed this after long hot day of walking. I would recommend this place.

Breakfast options were very limited but if you're not fussy you can eat something and start your day. The shower head needs upgraded. Wouldn't come out like a spray. Water drained slowly leaving you standing on a puddle on the shower tray.

The location of property is very nice, the breakfast is exceptional. idea location from the main iconic sites of Hega sophia and blue masque.

I would suggest the reception officer can be little more helpful.

Great location at the heart of the old city in Istanbul, just 10-15 mins walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Good spread at breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. Great terrace at the top, which is nice to have a drink during the evenings.

The fitness center and pool seem to just be there as placeholders to get the star rating. the fitness only has 2-3 machines and the pool was so small that it can be called a dipping space at best, not a pool, although the hotel pictures try to portray it as larger and wide, which is perhaps a bit deceitful.

A 4* hotel with 5* service. In a quiet neighbourhood of Fatih/Istanbul. Staffs were very helpful, especially Fatih (the young tall guy with optic) who was always around from the day we arrived until our departure, helped with all the heavy luggages that we (family of four with young kids) had. Manager Yusuf was also very helpful, communicated clearly and promptly with any queries we had prior and during our stay. Breakfast had decent selection and lot of varities, beds were comfy, aircon was adequate, bathroom was spacious (shower cubicle). The SPA facility is there (small heated pool, steam, sauna, hammam - all works fine) but not manned/no massage service but they arranged our treat with another (5mins walk) SPA with Balinese maseur. We found pool area is quiet in the evening. There's a well-lit park beautiful park right in front of the hotel where we could relax, sometimes local families/kids gather around (not crowded) to spend evening time. Roof is accessible, view of sea and the skylkine of old city from there is amazing.

Some part of the hotel could do with some rework; lights and aircon look tired; pool is very small. Hotel is within 15/20mins walk to major tourist attractions (Ayasofia, Blu mosque, Topkapi palace etc.) but you have to climb steep hills to get there and often footpaths are not wide enough to walk comfortably - something to keep in mind for peopel who would struggle to walk steep hill but that's probably most of the old part of Istanbul anyway.

Very nice hotel and staff are friendly too. Perfect location, especially if you have kids as there’s a park close by and lots of shops to buy fresh food milk fruit etc. it’s not too far from the tourist attractions. Just a bit hard to get to grand bazaar as you have to literally walk uphill and that’s difficult with kids. Ive been to more expensive hotels too but the staff here were nicer and always helping and smiling. Loved the staff, gave my girls some free treats and helped us. Thank you to you all

WiFi was good but could be better Breakfast was good but not the food we’re use to having here like toast and fried egg or omelette so a bit meh for me and kids. But they had a lot of nice stuff for people that like Turkish breakfast. The rose garden in the picture seems massive but is actually small and the swimming pool there’s only one in the pics it looks like 3.

You can see that it had better days; no vacuuming of bedroom, bathroom was cleaned, no towel changing policy ( greening ), terrace not cleaned from seagull ejections (at least once they could have ), ashtray on terrace never emptied, terrace/bar on 4th not active(pity, one could have had some drinks), staff courteous but always suggesting to have lunch/dinner elsewhere, have a massage elsewhere… as if they di not have pride of their hotel .

We loved our stay at the hotel with my parents for six days. The staff were incredibly accommodating and flexible, allowing us to change rooms to ensure our comfort. The breakfast options were delicious and provided a great start to our days. The breathtaking view from the rooftop is a fantastic spot to relax and take pictures.

First night, we stayed on room with poor air conditioner. However, staff helped us to change to different room with working air conditioner. It was crucial for my parents(> 65 years old) to stay at cool room.

The pool and spa were very nice, and were open late. Breakfast was okay. I liked the location near many restaurants. It was too cold to make the most of the roof terrace and garden, but I'm sure they are lovely if it is warm and sunny.

The fruit juice at breakfast was very watery. The neighbouring rooms were very noisy. We could hear loud talking after midnight, and a lot of screaming and shouting at 3am one night. I slept with earplugs in.

Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The staff were amazing, always helping us with whatever we needed. They provided us with a wheelchair everyday for my little sister & helped us with taxis, directions etc. We honestly appreciate the staff that were working and helping us whilst we stayed there & I would like to thank every single staff for everything they did for us. The hotel itself is amazing - exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfortable, had amazing facilities for example the pool, sauna, an extremely comfortable lounge area - my dad would just fall asleep on the sofas in the lounge because he found them so comfortable! The rooftop overlooks the old city of Istanbul as well as a beautiful sea view. Such a nice place to sit in peace on the roof. The breakfast was amazing, delicious food everyday. The hotel is about 10-20 minutes walk from the major tourist attractions so not too far at all. Theres plenty of food areas & shops around so no issues with getting whatever we needed. There’s many mosques surrounding the hotel so it’s easily accessible to go for prayers during the day. The bedrooms were nice and comfortable, room service was quick & the staff maintained the cleanliness there. Honestly such an amazing stay and if I ever come to Istanbul again, I’d definitely be staying at Antea Palace hotel and spa again!!!

The Front Desk Yusuf and Furkan and staff Khadir, Guven and more that I don’t remember their name were very nice and helpful.. Most of the staff know English which makes it easier to communicate. For some who likes to see historical places, this hotel is a great choice. Only 10 minutes walk to Blue mosque … we had a view of Marmara Sea which made our room very special.

The swimming pool is small. And the Turkish bath and massage was closed while we were there. Since the hotel is in the old part of the Istanbul, it is kind of far to modern part of the city.
