We just have a good words for Alphonse Hotel. People mostly complain about the size of the room but it was quite enough for us considering that we would only sleep in it :) They were wonderful to us, they allowed us to check in before the scheduled time. Staff speaks English very well and they are extremely kind and accommodating. The breakfast is varied and most importantly the place is very clean. They have very lovely staff in the kitchen. They pleasantly surprised my husband with a cake, candles and birthday song for his birthday:))).They really take care of the details.For the 5 days we were there, all 5 days our towels were replaced with new ones every day.Really,it's worth the money.

The staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was really good with a variety of options to choose from. The rooms were always cleaned and taken care of every day which is something to look at in any hotel. There were nice shops around the hotel for cheap eats.

The location was a bit different than expected. The hotel is in such a place that you can miss it if you are not careful (but if you have Google Maps then no issues at all). The taxi rates are not good, fixed rates are not worth it and they should provide taxis that charge you on a meter.

Very convenient position next to sultanahmet, easily connected by feet to tram station. The room was clean, even if a bit small; towels were changed everyday; the breakfast was good, high quality food, maybe lacking in the variety of the sweet side. The best thing was the staff: they were always ready to help us, they also organized a surprise for my bf's bd (they ordered a cake and made her find it) on their own! They always used to freely give us water, coffee and tea, with no limits; one of them also lent us his travel card to make it possible for us to take the tram. In conclusion, we definitely recommend this hotel, firstly because of the beautiful turkish people who work there, but also for the highly convenient quality/price

The staff of this hotel had made me experiencing a very incredible stay during my 3-day visit in Istanbul. It leaves me the best memory I could ever ask for in a foreign country like Türkiye! The manager Ms. Fulya, receptionist Mr. Erkan, the kitchen ladies and cleaning ladies are all very nice and friendly to me. Also, everybody has been very helpful towards my requests and inquiries. Mr. Erkan helped me organising the transportation to the airport the day I checked-out. Ms. Fulya had given me advices on where to visit and routes to tourists' destinations. The kitchen ladies surprised me with a birthday cup cake for remembering my celebration, the cleaning ladies are very attentive to their daily duties and make sure I have everything that I want. Thank you very much for making my stay in Istanbul very pleasant and comfortable. If I have a chance to come back to Türkiye, I will stay in their hotel once again! I also recommend everyone to spend their time in this hotel and I'm sure you will enjoy a lot for its accessibility, delicious breakfast and wonderful hospitality. Best wishes

Alphonse hotel made us feel at home. Tufan was very welcoming and nice. The cook was the sweetest as well as the rest of the staff always cheerful and happy to help. The hotel is very well positioned, close to both a tram and a metro station and at the heart of a lively neighbourhood( safe even when we came back at midnight). The room was clean and everything was functionable. The breakfast had different variables for every taste. I can’t recommend it enough

the personel behave freindly, very helpful and nice. the reception crews (5 persons) are all very helpful, charment and take care about every thing. they propose the tours which make our visit really agreable. the tour on Bousphore and in plage. Bufet of brealfast is really good also.

I appreciate everything, but there is some points for improvement. For example if there were an accecible Microwave, my stay time would be easier. However there is a microwave in kitchen you can ask for heating but it is not really at your service.

Lovely staff, when we arrived then immediately showed and explained Istanbul city and how we would get around. Grand bazaar and Sultanahmet is walking distance. It is very elevated though. To get on tram you have to walk ~10 min distance upwards every day but was very good exercise and we loved it. Food is excellent, every day we looked forward to breakfast. Recommend strongly.

The location is perfect, just a few minutes from the Bazaar and Hagia Sophia. The room was small but everything what we needed was there. The breakfast buffet was very delicious. The staff was very friendly and willing to help in every situation.

There is noise from the street but the windows are good isolated so it is not a huge problem.
