it was our second stay here, we were here for the first time in 2016. The room was nice and clean, staff and services really good - i especially appreciated the kindness and responsiveness of the concierge - he helped us with a reservation and was available to assist us even during his day off.

i have one remark - i do not recommend the Hood restaurant. as a restaurant that has sushi as main dish it was extremely disappointing. the sashimi plate had more greens than fish, while the sushi rolls were just bland…the salmon tartar was good but nothing impressive at all… so, with so many good fish restaurants close to the hotel, i would recommend to eat out and not choose Hood Restaurant.

Surrounding area near right next to the hotel looked really run down, not what I expected but then don’t think the hotel can do much about it as it’s outside the property

Friendly staff. Amazing view. Good breakfast. The room was overall clean. The friendly staff allowed us to stay a few more minutes when everyone left to take a good photo at the outdoor pool. The staff explained everything clearly so we could get around easily.

The room could be cleaned in detail, many places that require effort to be reached were not cleaned. In addition, there were a few lamps that had visible damage, I personally prefer if everything was perfect and looked like new. The pool water was colder than expected

Is the 3rd time in this hotel and I just like it very much. Location is perfect for travelling between the European and Asian side. Nice breakfast, good facilitities, business center, rooftop bar and a good sized Gym. I think nothing is missing to make the stay perfect. I appreciated that I could use the business center for a few hours, free of charge and everything was very good.

As we arrived the reception gave us a smokers room without asking if we are smokers (we weren’t). The room was smelly and the carpet was dirty. I find it unacceptable esp. since we paid for an upgraded room with sea view! Gym was dirty and an old weight bar fell apart when I used it. Not very safe. Upon our arrival the reception wanted to block on my card the double sum that would cost for our room again without informing us or asking for permission. This again was very unprofessional:(.

Location is great, the rooftop restaurant is excellent, and the gym is very spacious and good quality equipment

It's a very busy area, therefore the entrance is very crowded with cars

A bit pricey for the location, we booked it only because of the pool that we thought we would use more but we visited the town instead so we ended up going there only 2 times. Clean but not very. Cleaning man, skipped to wipe the soup plate all the days I was there, 5 times. We did not eat there, as the menu has very high prices for Turkey. All in all, good hotel if you plan in relaxing and not spending much time in town. If you are like me and my fiance, (walking 15-20 km daily) and using this place only for sleeping and showering, get something at least closer to Istanbul if not cheaper. Karakoy area is very crowded and very messy. You can not find good restaurants for a dinner, only street food.

Anyway the pool timetable is very disappointing. I would have loved a swim after my long Istanbul walks but they close it at 18.00. One more big disappointment, they do not serve hot drinks at the pool, so you are not able to have a coffee in the morning over there, you would need to go the lobby restaurant for it. Very annoying because I like my coffee with a view. Second morning I brought my own cold coffee and got told from the staff that I am not allowed drinking something from outside.. so, they don’t serve coffee but I am not allowed to drink one from outside either 🤨.

Staff were very helpful. They did their best to make sure we got all the details about the places we wanted to visit. Location was also pretty good. The hotel is on the Asian side of Istanbul close to a lot of local shops and restaurants, and is a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal that goes to the other side of Istanbul.

Housekeeping could be a bit better. The rooms got cleaned everyday, but a few times they forgot to put new towels in the bathroom.

Staff was superb, prompt and responsive, and would do anything to ensure their guest's comfort... super polite and courteous. We have nothing but good things to say about them. That's inclusive of reception desk, concierge, valet parking, housekeeping, etc.. you name it.

Moda neighborhood was not our cup of tea. Extremely busy and hectic with pubs and bars all over the place... that's especially true on weekends. Way too uncomfortable for families.

this is my 3rd time to be here. I know it is a perfect choice, thanks to the reception, I can reach airport in time. the staffs are so helpful. they arrange the taxi very promptly and professionally, they know how terrible the traffic in Istanbul is, and they just provided me the best solution. i would like to say a big thank you , though I don’t know the name of the receptionist… they also helped me to activate the Istanbul card. due to COVID-19, I need HES and passport to activate the card , a bit complicated, hotel can handle this ! very good experience!as always!

Our spacious suite with two full bathrooms. Great view. Comfortable bed. Room service. The location.

Room curtains fall down when opening or closing. House keeping was not to the standards for a 5 star hotel. The AC in the day time is not that good in summer.
