Errichel House and Cottages

A beautiful, peaceful spot to relax and unwind in the Perthshire countryside. It's less than a 5 min drive from Aberfeldy and very well signposted. I enjoyed a few days here with family and explored walks around the area. The staff were very attentive, particularly Callum in the restaurant. Everyone was very friendly and the space was well-maintained. I absolutely loved being around all the animals. Chickens and ducks enjoyed sitting nearby in our Garden Cottage and near the pond there were chicks and goslings tweeting away and following their Mums. Horses, cats etc too. Kids would love it.

Beautiful surroundings. Cosy cottage with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area. The extra bonus was being able to buy treats and order delicious home made pizza from the family run delli Close by.

Nothing. We can understand how the road up to the cottage could worry some guests but we are used to living out in the countryside and have a 4x4 so it was not an issue for us. In fact it added to the peace and tranquility.

Such a beautiful location, and so peaceful around. The service was great, very attentive. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and had lovely views from the window to admire the nature around. Breakfast was really tasty, very filling…as was the dinner too (would highly recommend the roast dinner on a Sunday!). What we also loved about this place was that they have their own deli shop with lots of amazing goodies in. All in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. We will definitely be back again!

Beautiful 5 star meals, staff were kind and helpful and the setting was incredible. Best thing was being able to watch all the birds whilst we ate! Also the little farm shop was amazing!

I missed there being a lounge away from the dining room to relax and read. Also room 5 outside bathroom is weird. Maybe it could be lockable with room 5 keys and also be labelled as private bathroom for room 5. Didn’t feel like it was ours and that some random people could wander in to use it.

Fantastic location and beautiful cottage. Becky was a brilliant host and we had a wonderful time with the animals. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, sofas and beds very comfortable and lovely log fire. Take away pizza and deli food was an added bonus and delicious breakfast served in the restaurant.

This property has clearly been affected by COVID -19. The staff were welcoming, service was excellent and the food in the bistro for both dinner and breakfast was utterly outstanding. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with most amenities on hand. Bijou hotel which to which we will return. It was lovely to watch the ducks wander freely around the garden!

We were disappointed that the lounge area was out of use. We were a party of four with two rooms and it would have been nice to have had an alternative seating area other than the bistro. We had to ask for loo roll which I imagine was an oversight on behalf of housekeeping. Our bathroom smelled a little of dampness which was reported to reception but everything was clean and presentable.

Lovely property and gardens beautiful with the views and wildlife.

Maybe use of the lounge area instead of having to sit in the room. Could have done with 2 chairs in the room as I have a sore back and sitting on the bed isn't comfortable for me. The only matter we want to mention was the young waitress in the mornings who wore a very short skirt it was quite offensive having to see her bum cheeks when bending over to serve and walking back to the kitchen maybe trousers more appropriate. She seemed self conscious of it as kept trying to pull her skirt down but it didnt work. Otherwise the staff were lovely and helpful especially the guy at reception and the Texas waiter very nice. Maybe name badges an option? Thanks for a lovely stay.

The staff were fantastic they went out of their way to be accommodating. On the first morning I had a very early start before breakfast commenced so they made me a packed lunch and on the evening I arrived they kept the kitchen open to ensure I got dinner.

The lock on the bedroom door for some reason annoyed me! It was so close to the handle it was difficult to open - so there wasn’t much wrong with the place!

The cooked breakfast was excellent and the chef prepared the fried eggs as I requested. The property and surrounding area is stunning. We did not eat in the on-site restaurant as we had a late lunch prior to arriving. The menu looked fantastic though. Although it is still a working farm, the accommodation was private and the gardens beautiful. We only stayed one night as we were on our way home from the Isle of Skye.

The pillows were lumpy.

This is a beautiful building and grounds. So peaceful and we had lovely views from our room. The room was clean and comfortable. The coffee machine was a great addition and the bathroom was lovely. Very comfortable, huge bed. The staff were so helpful and attentive. The food in the Bistro was very good although slightly expensive although I know this is not connected to the accommodation. Overall a special place ideal for relaxing completely with beautiful Aberfeldy on the doorstep.
