Westlands of Pitlochry

The hotel is nicely located at the top of Pitlochry Main street. It is set back from the road and has its own good sized car-park. The rooms and interior look to have just been refurbished to a very high standard and the whole feel of the hotel was of a premium quality. The rooms were very well appointed with super soft carpet, lovely bathroom and a huge TV. Beds were firm but comfy. Breakfast was excellent. It was a buffet style help yourself style but all food was good quality, hot and extremely good.

None really. The only issue we had was that the shower area filled and overflowed out into the main bathroom area; I am sure that this was quickly fixed. There was no restaurant in the hotel on the night we stayed but, being a short walk into Pitlochry this was no big deal.

I had a wonderful night’s stay here at Westlands of Pitlochry. The friendly staff are just perfect with everything and In the morning, the loveliest breakfast was served, which set me up really well for the day’s adventures. The hotel is in an excellent location, with all the local shops, restaurants and attractions, close by. A great place to explore the amazing area from. The rooms are very spacious, spotlessly clean and fitted out to the highest standards. I had such a good night's sleep and felt so refreshed in the morning. I would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to stay here. Many thanks to all at Westlands of Pitlochry for making my break there so enjoyable.

Great location, just at the end of the high street, so very close to all the shops and restaurants. A very attractive building which is very well maintained both inside and out. Our room was beautifully decorated - the bedding, pillows, drapes etc were all very good quality. There was plenty of storage, the lighting was perfect and there were lots of plug sockets. The carpet was plush and new too. The bathroom was newly renovated with lots of towels. The breakfast was buffet style and very good, lots of choice and great service from the staff on duty.

great location towards end of Pitlochry High Street. Close to railway and bus stations. close to a variety of shops, eating places and bars. lovely walks nearby. interesting visitor centre at Pitlochry Dam and Fish Ladder. there is a comfy residents lounge with wood burner. self service breakfast with a reasonable choice of hot and cold options. staff were welcoming and friendly. en-suite room on first floor was warm, comfortable and spacious with lovely view and super king size double bed. This was our second stay and we would stay again if we were in the area.

all was fine.

Rooms are new and spacious, nicely decorated and a good big shower. The place is just at the beginning of the village, not in the centre, but it is quite close to the train station. It offers a lot of parking all providing a charging station. Anyhow, everything is at few minutes walk.

The only less positive thing is that they forgot to check the shower gel and shampoo dispenser in the shower and it was empty. Having a dispenser is efficient, but it needs still to be checked and filled for every customer.

The location was perfect with the hotel set just at the edge of Pitlochry so it has more space and stunning views. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always greeted us happily. We asked for use of an iron on arrival and within seconds the staff member provided one! The room was a good size with a beautiful view and lots of space. We could hear people passing in the hall a couple of times but nothing from other rooms so the sound proofing is excellent! No getting disturbed by other TVs or snoring! The room was quick to warm up despite the high ceiling which was a very pleasant surprise. We didn't make use of it but the communal lounge with the fire was a lovely touch. Would definitely stay again!

There was no indication that there are veggie alternatives on offer for breakfast. The buffet has what you would expect for a traditional scottish breakfast but no veggie alternatives displayed (which is great as this saves food waste!) As we were finishing breakfast on our second morning however, we saw another guest being provided with veggie sausages. A sign to say that there are more veggie options on request would be fab! Or even if the staff had mentioned they were on offer. I provided this feedback during check out which the owner(?) seemed to take on board which was good.

The 2 bedroom suite was just right for two couples traveling. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The most exceptional aspect was the staff and manager. We were just staying overnight and one of us had a car issue. The manager went out of his way to help us and even let us leave the car there for several days while we completed our trip. I can't say enough about how gracious and helpful they were! Truly out of the ordinary.

Westlands of Pitlochry is very well situated for all of the local amenities. The standard of cleanliness and well maintained facilities compliment the warm welcome. The property feels almost brand new in terms of decor, fixtures and fittings. We only stayed one night but would definitely return and stay for longer.

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like.

Our room was lovely , looking out onto the car park but that was not a problem as we were out all day and were not there for the view Nice garden at the front of the hotel where we were able to sit and have a coffee , far enough from the road . Breakfast was excellent, staff friendly and helpful and Pedro couldn’t have done more for us, a splendid host! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book Westlands again on a future visit to Pitlochry.

No complaints whatsoever.

westlands was set in a good location for going into town and handy for restaurants bars and shops, our room was lovely very clean fresh and the bed was very comfortable the staff were very friendly and helpful.

getting a drink from the bar wasn’t easy you have to order and pay at reception and they will bring the drink to you the hotel is very nice and I just think they’re missing an opportunity not having a staffed bar at certain times of the day and night
